Top Picks
The FX Impact is like the LEGO set of the airgun world. This gun is just begging to be customized in one way or another. If you're dying to make your Impact your own then this adjustable buttstock with built in monopod is just what you need.

Invented by Robert Goodwin, a local shooter here in Utah, these butstocks are machined out of solid aluminum stock and feature Delrin butt pad and finger choil grips. With a quick twist of the thumbscrew on the left hand side of the stock a built in monopod can be dropped to give you a solid 3 point shooting base when using a bipod. These stocks allow you to bring the accuracy of shooting from a bench to the hunting field.

Buttstocks are available in both raw silver and anodized black to match your rifle's color scheme!

Pros
I give it 5 stars. Exceptional quality, infinite adjustment. Police is high, but you get what you pay for

Cons
A little costly but worth it

I ordered this for my Silver Impact, which would've been a great addition for bench, or prone shooting. I was sceptical but figured for the money it had to be of high quality. Once received the next day; I opened the package only to find a clear Ziplock bag with it inside. It was a bit beaten up, with many scratches on it including the adjustment knobs. The bag it was in showed the same signs of damage since it wasn't really even protected for anything in the warehouse. Upon further inspection the Fit and Finish was awful; the butt pad didn't line up with the aluminum block it was attached to, crooked to say the least. Butt Pad was overhanging at the top and had run off at the bottom. The finish of it was a splatter type paint which looked cheap compared to my $3,000 Impact and MTC Viper Pro Scope setup. It weighed around 2 pounds making a very light expensive rifle much heavier and harder to keep shouldered due to the slippery Butt Pad. Overall it really wasn't worth it at this price point, unless it was selling for $99 or less. For the money I was expecting something that looked as good as the gun it was to be attached to. When installed the bottom angles didn't match up, and had very sharp edges. Maybe in the future ill try this again as long as the maker polishes out the poor fit and finish issues.

Pros
Airgun Depot was great in refunding all of my money, which after receiving the product and hour and a half later it was back in transit to them for a full refund.

Cons
Fit, Finish, including Color wasn't worthy of the price. Poor QC, Poor Packaging, Heavy, Overpriced.

I see the knob that allows that the monopod to drop down from the grip is on the left-hand side of the grip. Since I hold the grip with my left hand I'm wondering how uncomfortable that would be. Or maybe the know is relocatable to the right-hand side?
