I ordered one of these for a Hammerli 850 and it fit like a glove. Ordered another for an Umarex Gauntlet and it was loose fitting. Both rifles are 11mm dovetail mounts. After mounting it on the Gauntlet totally tight, it was still loose fitting. The rails on the Gauntlet measure out exactly at 11mm. As I always say, "anything man made will have occasional variations or issues." Over all no biggie with so many options out there.
Pros
The guys at Air Gun Depot are kindly sending me a replacement at no cost. Any issues I've had, Air Gun Depot has been there Johnny on the spot to help out. They are a TRIPLE AAA operation to deal with. The mount itself is ROCK SOLID and will hold any 30mm tube scope perfectly. If the new one is loose too I will send them both back and eat the shipping charges, again, no big deal. Living in Upstate NY I won't be able to actually use any of my new gear til mid to late March anyway. so plenty of time to get it together.
Cons
Just didn't fit my Gauntlet. Not the end of the world, haha.
This RWS lock-down mount installs easily and should never require any more attention.
RWS products have always been good to me. This is another fine product for the money.
Pros
High quality for the money
Cons
I have not had any problems so far
The R.W.S. mount does not distort or crush the scope tube. Other mounts leave marks on the tube even without over tightening. With R.W.S. mounts the scope does not move and it does not destroy the scope. This is worth the money. I now have three of them and don't plan to ever buy anything else.
Pros
the best airgun scope mount on the market.
Cons
nothing
Excellent quality. Solid clamping of scope and mount to receiver. Now I have plenty of elevation compensation for longer distances. works great on my Diana 48 .25 cal. side lever
Simple to review; just mount it to your scope and then set it on your rails and adjust it for the proper distance and lock it in. That is all there is to it. Some people probably mount it to the rifle first but I did it differently and mounted it to the scope first. That way I was better able to move it on the gun to achieve the best distance for my eyes. The lock down allows you to easily remove it and place it on another gun or just store it safely until it is needed.
Totally satisfied. Great price and company.
This lock down is easy to install and hold my scope securely. It did not receive 5 stars because I think it is a little overpriced. $15 to $20 would be a fair price for this.
Pros
secure
solid construction
Cons
overpriced
I purchased this mount after reading other reviews. This mount is comparable to my high dollar Leupold mounts i have on my .300wm. Easy to install !
Pros
Everything!
Cons
I cant find anything bad to say about this.
Question?
Login to ask someone who bought this product. Can this be used on a rws lp8 pistol?
asked Ace from USADoes this fit the Benjamin Trail NP. I just bought the RWS 3-9X44 Night Pro Air Rifle Scope with Illuminated Reticle and did not realize it it wouldn't fit.
asked Joel from USAIf your scope tube is not 30mm. . .this mount will NOT fit. The 1" mount is available from AIRGUN DEPOT also.
Carlton from USAThe Benjamin trail np is a weaver rail scope mount . The RWS night pro is a 30 mm tube and is a 44 mm objective lens that requires a tall mount . Diana part number 2169102 covers all these bases and is drop compensating and has a recoil arrest to prevent the gun from braking the scope. Look in the air rifle section under Diana
Beverly from USANo . The Benjamin trail np has a weaver rail not a dovetail. I would chose the Hawke hm 7212. These rings are for the weaver rail they are 30 mm and tall enough for the 44 mm objective lens to clear the barrel. The weaver rail is a really solid mount no real need for a one piece.
Beverly from USAThe Benjamin Trail NP has a Weaver rail, rather than a dovetail, so no it won't fit. You need a Weaver mount.
Steve from USAWill this fit on a GAMO Bone Collector Bull Whisper?
asked ZachIf the gun has a 3/8" ducktail it will fit.
Charles from USAyes it will fit,the bull whisper has 11mm dovetail rails.
brent from USAIf you have standard dovetail rails the mount will fit,but these are designed for use on rws air guns so may not give the same accuracy.
michael from USAI forgot to mention that i do not see any reason why it won't work well on the GAMO Bone Collector Bull Whisper.
Art from USAThis is the BEST scope mount available in my opinion as long as it does not get in the way of any of the loading of your gun. If you want your scope to stay still and not move this is the mount for your gun. If it moves there is something really wrong like maybe not tightening it down good. I have this mount on several of my rifles and i feel it is the way to go.
Art from USAThe Gamo Bone Collector is equipped with a 11 mm scope rail. The 30 mm RWS lock down scope mount is an excellent device for scope stabilization and is designed to fit a 11 mm scope rail. It should be a perfect fit, but remember the scope tube must be 30 mm to fit the mount.
Grady from USAWill this mount fit Crosman nitro venom?
asked mipeNo, the Nitro Venom has weaver / picatinny type rails. This mount is for Dovetails.
Rory from USAmeasure the width of the rail and see if it is 11mm, if so it should fit
DWCWill the RWS one piece mount (11 mm) fit on my Gamo big cat 1250?
asked DonnyYes.I have this mount on my big cat1250 with the rws 6x42ci scope.
Eric from USAYes this 30mm RWS Lock Down mount will fit your Gamo Big Cat 1250 since it has a 11mm dovetail.
Jon from USA
Bought the RWS one-piece lockdown mount and it works great. I shoot a RWS 48 22cal spring gun and this mount is a must because of the serious torque and recoil of the 48. Two-piece mounts just couldn't keep the scope zeroed for long, but I have been dead-on for months with the one-piece. If you shoot a high power spring gun, this mount is a must have.
