My daughter fires these pellets from a highend Walther LG300 airifle in 10 meter competitions. They have added many points to her scores over the years through their consistent weight and size. The other ratings for this product are misleading. Finest competition pellets out there, If you want to win, use these pellets.
I was looking up the price for these pellets, and saw the two bad reviews. The negative reviews were from people shooting these in "Plinkers" and hunting type spring piston airguns. Just because these are arguably the best pellets out there doesn't mean they will shoot good in every gun. Spring rifles are extremely picky especially when it comes to wadcutters, and you have to learn how to shoot them right first off.
I've shot these in National competition, with my FWB 700 aluminum and although they are no more accurate then the ones that come in tins these are individually inspected and trusted to be free from imperfections. Well worth the price if your in the finals at a National or international competition.
These are not pieces of crap as others have said!!!
Pros
Inspected, quality!
Cons
Price
Using them for target with an RWS model 45 as well as a new Hatsan 125 piston. Upon receiving these pellets I opened the first box. Immediately I noticed the fancy packing designed to keep the pellets from rubbing or deforming each other is a waste. About 70% of the pellets were loose anyway. As far as accuracy, I am getting no better groups with these high$ pellets than I did with the cheaper RWS Meisterkugeln .177 cal 8.2 gram wadcutters in the 500 count tin. On the upside these pellets seem shinier so they are probably a bit more consistent. I can't explain why my groups did not improve. Personally, I will be switching back to the cheaper pellets. HEY, PELLET MANUFACTURERS, please put some threads on your tins so the lids will SCREW on. Just a thought.
Pros
shinny, pretty
Cons
price too high, packaging does not prevent pellets from rubbing one another during shipping and transport.
I shot them at 30 yards out of my gamo socom extreme and they shot 5 in about a 12 inch grouping. The worst part is they cost me $33. Do not buy these pieces of crap.
Pros
Nothing
Cons
Everything
Do not expect miracles from these pellets- they are only going to perform as well as the equipment and shooter allow. In a precision airgun being shot by an experienced shooter these will show their true colors: precise. And consistent. Which by the way has nothing to do with being "shinny".
Pros
Proven design, consistent weight and size, packed so there's minimal movement and no pellet to pellet contact.
Cons
They are expensive. But that's the nature of the beast.
