My first experience with airsoft pistols, I shoot .22/.25 caliber air rifles (spring) in the 600-800 fps range. This pistol and all of the model SDS601 regardless of finish/grip choice are rated at 330 fps with 12 grain projectile. Bought another brand very similar to this "M1911" and although also well made, it has a quirky trigger-pull. The trigger on this TSD pistol suits me fine and the groups are unbelievable (for me) at 15-20 feet from the target. Haven't reused any ammo yet, although it is tempting because the spent BB's appear fine. Fit and finish are nice on this piece, it sure is realistic in appearance; have ordered two more for a couple friends. Well worth the money, have already spent more on ammo than the gun itself. Not enough power for much more than mice, yet accurate enough to nail 'em every time. Good indoor plinker due to the low noise.
