This is a one-piece adapter unlike other commonly-used ones that have a separate movable clamping bar. It relies on on actual bending of the aluminum extrusion to attach. I concur with other reviewer comments about the instructions being vague and unclear, but I finally realized the dual-screw arrangement. As shipped, there are two opposing screws in each set of holes, and is set up for ENLARGING the dovetail. By screwing in the long screws against the short ones the width of the dovetail opening is increased. The width as received was already too wide for my AirForce Texan, but by removing and reversing the long screws they then pull the sides of the dovetail together, REDUCING the dovetail until it eventually clamps adequately. I was about to give it zero stars until I finally figured this out, but realized it works well after I did. The Weaver/Picatinny rail is made accurately and fit the bipod I attached to it. This is a good adapter to use on a single application, but stick with two-piece adapters if you intend to move it around to different ones.

Instructions could be clearer, and being a one-piece design makes it harder to move to different firearms. Constant bending and unbending that might be necessary if moved between narrower and wider dovetails will weaken the extrusion and result in eventual failure. Also having to remove the short screws to clamp the dovetail makes it less likely they'll be available if needed again to expand it to fit a wider dovetail.

This is my second dove tail rail adapter, the first I got elsewhere and didn't work and I ultimately ate the cost on. This has a great fit and finish and I am very happy with it!
Very nice mount well made and easy to install. would recommend this to anyone looking for a solid mount.
It fit very well and locks in place like a vice. It allows one to attach the weaver type mounts which hold the scope more securely. It is longer than most so it provides more flexibility in mounting the scope. Well made and strong
The instructions are a little vague, other that that, it's a good mount

Bought this adapter for use on the Texan ss but seems a bit odd and errhrhs.. So I moved it to different air rifle then works great for me.

None. But install it carefully if you use as scope base.
