Webley MKVI Heavy Duty Canvas Holster, Right Hand

Having both BB & Pellet versions of the MKVI, along with leather holsters, i thought it appropriate to get this holster. ir you've watched any WWII British war movies you'll notice this is the holster they wore in combat. I like it, a lot.

Pros
As in the original, and this copy: canvas, rugged, durable, relatively easy to maintain, lightweight, has hardware for GI web belt, etc. It looks good, too.

Cons
These are not so much cons as caveats. You do need a web belt to carry it, tho', as there is no belt loop - this holster was designed for combat not the parade ground. Because it is canvas, it can be subject to mildew, etc., also, the metal fittings being brass can, and will, corrode, if not maintained with a modicum of care. The canvas should be kept clean and dry; the brass clean and polished or coated. But, hey, you maintain your guns... Should you do any less for your holsters?

I PURCHASED THIS HOLSTER TO GO WITH THE WEBLEY EXHIBITION PISTOL AND IT LOOKS AND FEELS GREAT.

A NICELY MADE ITEM AND IT HAS A RETRO LOOK AND FEEL TO IT.
