It is a great reproduction of a Webley, but the safety is a problem waiting to happen. If you don't notice the safety is on and you try to pull back the hammer you will bend an internal part and ruin the gun. It isn't an easy job to take it apart to make the fix. I don't know why anyone would want that safety anyway. Otherwise it is a great shooting gun.

Pros
Looks like the real Webley.

Cons
The safety is a way to damage the gun.

This is a well built quality revolver. This shoots with excellent power, shoots in the mid 400's FPS, and is very accurate for a BB pistol. On a 78 degree day I got 70 quality shots.

Pros
The finish is excellent and the overall construction is outstanding! Excellent single and double action trigger. I tested this just under 4 pounds in single action and about 6 pounds in double action.

Cons
A bit pricey but money well spent!

I'm one of those air gun collectors that is big on exact replication. As a result, I'm very high on this firearm because of its exactness in design when you compare it to the .455 center-fire version used by the British through both World Wars I & II. The attention to detail is spot on. I have only owned this firearm for about three weeks now and I already regard it as being the most accurate handgun in my collection. This is saying a lot because the sights are fixed which speaks volumes about the engineering of this weapon. As well, because it is a revolver you will find it to be very high powered as compared to the blow-back automatics in the air gun world today. No energy is waisted in this historical replica. Overall, I regard this firearm to be one of my very top picks within my extensive replica air gun collection. If you're old school like me and if you love the study of historical world conflicts and weaponry, then you'll love holding this piece of affordable timeless history in your hand!

Pros
- Exactness in engineering and firing accuracy. - Being a revolver and due its particular design, the power is impressive. - Very nice balance and smooth action design.

Cons
- The lanyard swivel was not seated within the grip base as well as it could have been, so I had to carefully align and tighten it with a pair of pliers.

Dear Friends Do you realize how much money you could make on this beautiful revolver by increasing FPS to at least 500 FPS. What a nice reproduction!

It's fun to shoot. I like loading the little 'bullets'. Very nicely designed!

Pros
It's shoots accurately. It looks good. I like the little 'crack' report and it penetrates 5 empty aluminum cans and 2 cans full of water with the BB is still going strong - so maybe more? (I just shoot at cans - the birds and animals are not to be shot at.)

Cons
The CO2 cartride is only good for 40 rounds or so so you know velocity is decreasing with every shot - but I guess it's the best thing yet?

Great looking and feeling gun. i love it overall, BUT, i am not buying into the 427 fps velocity...i don't have a way to check actual, but i did compare against another airgun that i have. one that has a stated velocity of 360 fps (HK USP by umarex)...i compared the two by firing into a stack of cardboard from 12 feet away...the Webley MKVI (with brand new CO2 cylinder) only penetrated 1 to 2 layers of cardboard, where the HK USP (with a very used CO2 cylinder) penetrated 5 and embedded in the 6th layer...so, only 1 to 2 layers of cardboard is pretty WEAK. bottom line, if you are looking for a cool bit of history in all its replica glory, then this is the gun to buy....although, too pricy for what you are getting. i also got the Colt SAA last month, and that is also a great replica, but at a much better price. to be honest, i would almost rather get another Colt SAA and another nice gun for the price of the MKVI, but the MKVI is a one of a kind and difficult to even find a real one, whereas the Colt SAA is available as a great quality blank firing replica, or the real deal made by many great manufacturers and by Colt. so, if you don't mind overspending a bit and you don't mind the the velocity will not be great, then buy this beauty

Pros
beautiful

Cons
low velocity and pricy

I have the Colt Python chrome, 2 models of the Dan Wesson, and both versions of the Colt SAA, and until I got the Webley MKVI I thought the Python had the best D/A of all. The Webley D/A blows them all away. It is so smooth and effortless. As a matter of fact the machining and fit is as good as the Colt SAA! Tight like a SAA, smoother than a Python, and well built like a Colt SAA. It is now my favorite D/A revolver of all the revolvers I have. All the mechanics sound real like the SAA. Smooth trigger in single action except the travel is longer then any of the others. It doesn't bother me because it's smooth. It doesn't group as well as the Python (1" at 20') but it is still respectable at 1.75" groups at 20'. I don't have a real Webley to compare it to so I can only guess it feels close to the real thing. It does feel right.

Pros
Well built, tight, smooth operation, and good feel. Better than most D/A revolvers.

Cons
Something this expensive should have been blued like the SAA. It might have been flat or satin in real life but I'm sure it was blued or that almost brown look. The finish is the only negative for this gun. The paint is good and looks fine. Also the bayonet would be a nice option that clipped onto the barrel.

Does This have any sort of oorange tip?

asked Jesse Berry

No, this is an air pistol and not and airsoft gun. This pistol is not a toy therefore it has not orange tip. This should be treated with the same safety precautions as any firearm.

Schofield No. 3 extra cartridges work just fine, in fact they look identical except for the rim marking. You can buy them in six packs with out the speed loader.

The MKVI revolver is all metal with plastic grips. The fit and finish is excellent. The action is true to the original. A fine representation in every detail.
