I was home bound bored to death with arthritis and now i look forward to my days shooting my Beeman R9. In the house at 18 yards. Wifey says all I get is 18 yards. Family room down the hall to bedroom wall. Steel bullet trap.
Pros
OK here is the deal. I researched everything I could and the best air guns are German made. The Germans couldn't sleep at night if they cut corners or built a poor quality product. The R9 is awesome, it came in a huge well packed box. The scope and rings were mounted and dialed in, thought I was going to have to do that myself. It has a chronograph showing 20 shots from the factory, all FPS are shown. I took it out of the box and loaded it with Winchester hollow points and shot 5 shots. All were in the bullseye at 18 yards. I have had it two weeks and shot 200 times. I am retired, 75 and crippled knees. I have never missed the 1" bullseye. Some 5 shots you can cover with a dime and others with a quarter.
If you want a great well built rifle that shoots perfect look no further. My old timer buddy is buying one soon. I don't know anyone with Beeman or the German Company but I do know quality when I see it, hold it and shoot it. Hope this review helps !! Big Jim
Cons
Don't change anything !! I wouldn't take a $1000.00 cash for this Beeman R9 right now.
If you have good technique you can shoot just about anything but this rifle makes it easy. Parris Island Rifle Range 1983
Pros
This is the prettiest gun I've ever owned. I want to hang it on the wall in my living room but I'm sure my wife would give the "are you serious" look. Lol!
Cons
Wish they offered a walnut option but the beech is very nice.
I have never been disappointed by a Beeman, This combo gets the job done!! Nothing I have shot that is not German made can compare.

Buy a Beeman, you can't go wrong. The German's are great craftsman.
Pros
I bought the R9 deluxe model with factory mounted scope, i have mounted many scopes in my day and sighted them in. I opened the box and was very impressed with everything. Wood checkered stock, gold trigger, nice bluing. I took it out of the box and loaded it and the first shot hit the bullseye at 18 yards. five shots all in the bulls eye, a couple 1/2" high from the group. The next 5 shots all in the bullseye you can cover with a penny. The gun shoots better than I can hold. I am old (75) but I have been shooting for 70 years , wore out 2 Daisy BB guns by 10 years old. And then Dad bought a 1917 Enfield 30-06, I shot 20 rounds of ball ammo every week until old Dad went broke and bought a H R .22. I am very impressed with this rifle but shooting bullseyes every time is getting boring, I am crippled so my hunting days are over.I shoot the .177, small and fast is best, its all about bullet placement. BUY ONE MY FRIENDS, you will be happy.
Cons
Nothing to change, its all good. !!
