The semi automatic 4.5mm(.177) CZ 75D Compact air pistol has authentic CZ markings and unique serial number. The front weaver rails give you the opportunity to mount a laser or flashlight. The rear sight is adjustable to secure better accuracy. The magazine holds 17 BB's and also stores the 12g CO2 cartridges. The pistol comes with a tool allowing you to change the CO2 cartridges in the magazine and unscrew the front to unveil threads for a compressor. The Magazine is protected with a rubber base, so it doesn't break easily if it is dropped. The grip is rubber patted and with the high rise beavertail, it secures a firm grip with perfect control. very very nice gun i like cz products

Good grip, accurate and good power. I bought this pistol and loved it. The problem I had was the screw for changing the gas stripped out. It left me with a problem and no extra mags

Change the method of changing the gas, and offer additional magazines. Possibly other grips???

I could be one of the guys to gripe about Airgun Depot, but I have made many purchases through them, and this is only the second pistol to have malfunctioned. LOL I wish I was a smith with good eyesight who could fix this!!

I love this pistol!!!---mostly. I have both the CZ75 Duty and the CZ75 Compact. The duty is the best pistol, among the 13 or 14 I own. This one, fits my hand perfectly, has nice balance, and my favorite gtips on any of my pistols but it may turn out to be tyhe most expensive paperweight I own.

I don't care for the magazine at all. One , you would have to use more than one cylinder of gas at at time in order to have an extra loaded magazine on hand, and so far, I haven't seen one of those. On mine in order to puncture the cylinder, you have to have gorilla strength ibn your fingers, or you have to employ some other tool. I am 73 , have failing eyesight due to diabetes, and obviously not as strong as I once was. The finger screw mechanism on the bottom of the magazine isn't optimal for piercing the cylinder and at thhis point the gas is leaking out. I have tried numerous times with the same tesult 90% of the time.

Okay, it is mostly plastic but it is not cheap and toyish. The features of the pistol are sharply defined resulting in a good looking gun. In function, the trigger is wonderfully smooth and light, especially in single action but double-action is very nice as well. The rear sight is adjustable! Nothing elaborate, but this simple sight allows you to achieve windage perfection. Elevation wise mine shot too high so I added a little less than 1/16 inch of height by epoxying on a blackened brass piece to match the width of the blade and it is now spot on. That matters on this pistol because it groups excellently with Umarex BB's and likely others as well (I haven't needed to find anything else as I can keep all of my shots into less than 1-1/2" at 6 yards while eating one large hole in the exact center of the bulls-eye with most of the shots.) The magazine is easily enough loaded when you develop a method of loading BB's that suits your taste as there are a few ways to do so. Loading up a CO2 bottle is simple if you follow this procedure: Place the CO2 into the magazine and snug up the piercing wheel. Place the magazine into the pistol. Using the supplied tool with the screwdriver bit, tighten up the piercing wheel to pierce the cartridge. I found this to work more reliably than the method described in the manual. If you want to mount a laser on the rail, I found the accuracy to improve somewhat over open sights. This pistol is a great buy.

The price allows you to get a very good pistol with better function and appearance than any other products in this price range in my experience and I have over 100 air pistols. The power level is also very good, though for a BB pistol this is not always a necessity due to the limitations of the ammunition as mostly suited for target shooting and plinking.

Pistol may not shoot to elevation of sights without adapting the front sight.

Excellent feel-,particularly the rubber grip. Accurate and at least as powerful ad the stats. Only complaint is the slot screw for the gas. Take a lesson from other mfgrs and refine this method- my only concern is the possibility of the screw stripping. But very realistic and a favorite to shoot. Would buy again.

I own a CZ 75 9mm. Thought that this would be a cheap way to practice in my back yard . I'm happy with the gun although the trigger is very stiff. Oil loosened it some what. Overall a good buy.

Great practice gun. Accurate replica. Accurate shooter.

Stiff trigger. Low propulsion.

Overall, I liked this pistol. It has very clean lines with few markings which would reveal it to be a replica pistol. The rubber grips and rubber magazine butt plate are unique enhancements to a BB pistol and feel great. The gun has 3 dot sites, with the rear one being adjustable for windage with the enclosed multi-tool. Although it does not have blowback, nor a metal slide, the slide is functional and can be pulled back to cock the hammer - allowing the gun to be fired in single action as well as double. The slide catch is molded into the frame and non-functioning so the slide cannot stay back in the retracted position. The gun shot consistent 2-3 inch groups at about 30 feet. The follower on the BB magazine did leave a lot to be desired. The spring tab on the follower is much too small to get a grip on and took repeated attempts to get it into the retracted position to load the BB's. I resorted to using the allen key on the multi-tool to slide the tab back. I also found that a flat-head screwdriver worked much better at turning the CO2 piercing screw located in the butt plate than the flat-head attached to the enclosed multi-tool. Both work, but are still a hassle. Although the gun is not on par with the 75 P-07 Duty model, it's still a solid gun and a keeper.

Realistic look Rubber grips and magazine butt plate Working slide (although not metal or blow-back) Accurate pistol 3-dot sights with rear adjustable for windage Single and double action Enclosed multi-tool to adjust sights and install silencer/compensator accessory (though have never seen this silencer accessory for sale)

Tab on magazine follower not big enough for easy use CO2 Piercing screw too recessed in butt plate to use enclosed multi-tool

Specifications claim it is a blowback pistol. Question is has anybody actually fired one of these to see if the specifications hold true to their claim of the blowback feature?

asked Larry from USA

The slide does rack back, but its not blowback when firing. Its a nice pistol. Check out replica airguns on YouTube. Michael has a review on this pistol

Roy from USA

I checked ASG's website and several other airguns sites, and both models of the CZ 75D Compact BB pistol are non-blowback. Only the CZ 75 P-07 DUTY BB pistol has blowback models.
