The FX Wildcat MKII has quickly become one of the most exceptional bullpups available. it's light and compact, but designed from the ground up to be a true bullpup (rather than trying to fit existing breech blocks and trigger systems into a bullpup configuration like many manufacturers have done). The result is a perfectly balanced rifle with one of the most exceptional triggers we've ever fired on a bullpup. This exclusive combo combines the synthetic FX Wildcat MKII with one of our favorite scopes, a Hawke Sport Optics Vantage 4-12x50 AO Rifle Scope with an illuminated reticle. This combo passes on savings to you over buying them separately, saving over $50.

FX Wildcat MKII Synthetic Hawke Scope Combo Features:
  • Includes Hawke Sport HD IR 4-12x50 AO scope & rings ($190 value)
  • Soft touch all-weather ambidextrous synthetic stock
  • Forward positioned sidelever cocking action
  • FX Smooth Twist Barrel
  • Easy-load 8 round magazine
  • Fully adjustable match trigger
  • Non-removable 230cc aluminum air cylinder (300cc in .25 cal)
  • Max fill pressure is 230 bar (3300 psi)
  • Aluminum cylinder and action features a finger print resistant tactical finish
  • Shrouded Muzzle with FX Standard Moderator
  • Quick fill port with integrated dust cover (uses FX fill probe)

nice looking but major problem
November 1, 2019
anyone having a problem filling the FX Wilcat MKII .25 using the Air Venturi Nomad 4500 PSI Portable Compressor?

I'm using the fill probe that came with the air rifle and have attached the Air Venturi Male Quick-Disconnect, 1/8" BSPP Female Threads (with Delrin seal inside) to it. The aluminum air cylinder has two openings and I'm using the one that is underneath the cylinder as the fill probe slides in quite easily.

Is the fill probe pushed in all the way? Pushing the fill probe in all the way seems to have an air leak when running the compressor. Is the fill probe suppose to have a washer that prevents the air from leaking out the hole?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Have been using this air compressor on my Umarex Gauntlet for over a year now.

Thanks Maureen
Prosjust the correct size for my height, lighter than my Gauntlet

Fx wild cat walnut .25 cal.
September 26, 2019
Purchased a .25 cal FX Wildcat and wow. It‚€™s a shame that so many air gunners will never get a chance to shoot such an amazingly awesome pcp air rifle.
Smooth in every action.
This pcp can and will out shoot it‚€™s shooter. I‚€™ve shot 8 shot groups tighter than reviews of the Wildcat on YouTube.
At 50 yards, I am blown away by its performance.
A silent killer at 59 and 62 yards on two quails. The FX Wildcat is a 5 out of 5 star pcp.
ProsThe Wildcat MKII out shoots the shooter. Very light and quiet with power to get the job done. Is not pellet fussy
ConsMakes your other pcp air rifles collect dust.
Best UsesI put down the fox that killed my cat at 30 yards. One shot. Small game.

FX Wildcat ll 22 cal
September 13, 2019
The only reason I give it 5 stars is because there are not 6 stars. Unbelievable accurate and quiet using JSB Diablo Exact and Heavy. Friends try it out and love it. I have previous experience (own) with Beeman R-1, R-7, Air Arms TX 200, Benjamin Discovery, and Benjamin Marauder. All of the previous are fine air rifles, but the Wildcat ll is just beyond words to describe. Fit, finish, feel, smoothness, quietness, and accuracy-it has it all.

Beautiful piece, and a tack driver

I would actually rate this airgun at 4.5 stars....not much to complain about! The fit and finish are outstanding and you can group 5 pellets in about 1/2" at 50-75' without being Annie Oakley. The lever action is sharp and trigger pull outstanding. There is virtually no recoil allowing you to keep the scope on the target even at long ranges. I own a .30 cal. also and find them both outstanding with the .30 carrying a bit more punch.

Not so wonderful...instructions, which seem to be more "one size fits all" and the funky little air pressure gauges on the rifle(s). I am always wondering how accurate they are. My only other concern with these rifles are double loading pellets in the barrel. I have not done this, and don't even know if it's possible...and I don't want to try.

Overall these are quiet, highly accurate, fun rifles to own. My few criticisms should not keep you from owning this piece.
Pros The lever action is sharp and trigger pull outstanding. There is virtually no recoil allowing you to keep the scope on the target even at long ranges. I own a .30 cal. also and find them both outstanding with the .30 carrying a bit more punch.
ConsNot so wonderful...instructions, which seem to be more "one size fits all" and the funky little air pressure gauges on the rifle(s). I am always wondering how accurate they are. The safety could use some work, being more of a wet noodle. My only other concern with these rifles are double loading pellets in the barrel. I have not done this, and don't even know if it's possible...and I don't want to try.
Best UsesAfter spending too much time on the wrong side of a gun barrel, I don't hunt anymore.....but these should be great little varmint or small game rifles. For killing your favorite paper target or beer can, you can't get any better!

Although it took awhile for FX to stock AG with both FX guns that I ordered because of the hurricane and floods they were dealing with, the wait was worth it! This gun, coupled with a Vortex FFP scope and a dedicated Huggett shroud/silencer kit, is mind-blowing. I can't believe the accuracy, ease of use, fit & finish, quality, handling abilities, quietness, balance, etc... I'm not exaggerating when I say I own close to 30 high end airguns, and this is right up there with the best. You work hard for your money. Why not buy the best once rather than compromise and feel like you cheated yourself? You won't ever be disappointed with this airgun if you top it with good glass.
ProsEverything.

February 18, 2019
I ordered the 30 caliber.... absolutely love how the stock feels, and the trigger is great. The gun screams of quality. This gun has the smooth twist X barrel , a full 27.5‚€ long and the AMP regulator..... it should be extremely adjustable. However, the gun came with no instructions, or even MENTIONED the AMP regulator... right now it shoots accurately at 65 ftlbs. As a hunter, I‚€™d like to bump this power level a bit, but without some guidance.....
ProsLight, smooth, accurate, and quiet with the FX/Donnyfl moderator
ConsNeed some better instructions... power level a little low from the factory

I am very impressed. Slapped a scope on my Wildcat .30 and made a trip to the range today. I had a couple issues ( magazine not indexing everytime and extremely tight) but it shot great. Sighted in at 50 yards, i fought a cross wind but it shot great. After several 50 yd groups i brought it in to 25 yds (1/2 high) all shot off bags and all 3 shot groups. Had one flyer top right , it was all me lol. I am stoked
ProsIt shoots great,
ConsOnly comes with 1 magazine and it is extremely tight fitting. Hoping it will get better with a little nore shooting.

I HAVE A FX WILDCAT MK1 AND JUST RECIEVED MY FX WILDCAT MK11. I DIDN'T THINK THE MK1 COULD BE IMPROVED UPON, BUT WOW THE SUBTLE DIFFERENCES ARE AMAZING. WHAT A MAGNIFICENT PIECE OF MACHINERY. MUCH LIKE A SWISS JEWELED WATCH.PUT 5 PELLETS UNDER A DIME AT 50 YARDS BENCH REST. I AM WELL SATISFIED WITH THE MK2. THE ASCOPE THAT CAME WITH PACKAGE DEAL (A HAWKE VANTAGE IR) HAS CLARITY RIVALING MY EXPENSIVE NIKONS AND LEUPOLD SCOPES. As pleased as I was with my first ‚€œmodern air rifle‚€ a break barrel model 48 also purchased thru AGD, the Wildcat Compact I recently purchased has surpassed that fine springer in every conceivable way.
I am confident John Mosses Browning himself would slap a 5 star rating on her without pause. And with the highest level of technology and craftsmanship showcased within this rifle I suspect ‚€œQ‚€ would be just a tad bit jealous.

Wildcat Mk II WOW!!
August 2, 2018
This is the most unexpected and amazing rifles FX has produced yet, While it lacks the "adjustability" of the IMPACT, and the PRICE, what an amazing piece of kit. The compact .22, I received, prefers the JSB 15.9 Jumbos. Barrel prep accomplished the first 10 shots delivered and average of 921 fps and an Sd of 2.1. This is a true 28 ft lb machine, that handles almost like a pistol. The book says it weighs 6.1, sans scope, but it feels much lighter. The JSB 18.1s barely make 880 fps. ChairGun program by Hawke indicated the 18.3 s are delivering 30 ft lbs at the muzzle but the speed looses the power battle at distance, to the faster 15.9 making 921 fps. All the "good things" of the IMPACT, except adjustability, but if you just want to shoot and not "experiment" this is the ticket! For the price difference of the IMPACT you can get a very, very nice piece of glass and THOUSANDS of pellets! I got the Donny FL Tatsu moderator and it is "indoor" quite, really. When shooting there is a little "spring" sound in your right ear and the the thwack of the pellet impacting the target. I you are observing the shooter there is just a tiny whoosh and a very much louder target impact noise, with this moderator the rifle is "movie silencer" quite, only even quieter !
ProsAccuracy, handling characteristics, and very compact!
ConsNeed more MAGs!!!

March 22, 2018
First this rifle out shoots me. It is so accurate unless I lock it to a vice it shoots better then I do. This gun is very light in walnut and well balanced. The rifle operates very smoothly and compared to my Hatson bullboss and Benjamin Marauder it is very quiet. The factory trigger is so smooth and light it's unbelievable . I could have adjusted it but no need. I love this gun. The wildcat shoots JSB Exact Kings 25.39 extremely well. I tried some Nielson Specialty Ammo in it 34.7 hollow point slugs, they shot extremely well. I was surprised the X barrel smooth twist handled them so well. I haven't tried the rat sniper slugs yet, I'm hoping they do just as well. I had an issue with the price but after shooting the gun it was worth it.

FX Wildcat MKII, Synthetic, .22 cal
March 11, 2018
Simply put this gun is amazing. The fit and finish is second to none. The 2 stage trigger is so good it isn't comparable to anything I've ever fired. The accuracy at 25yds is pellet on pellet, literally 8 shots leave one .22 cal. hole. it is super light weight and will balance perfectly on one finger at the trigger guard. it isn't top heavy or bottom heavy its just perfect and very ergonomic. The cocking lever is effortless and silky smooth. The magazine is very easy to load and insert. The gun does have some minor cons but overall I'm very pleased and couldn't be happier.
Pros1- unreal accuracy 2- superb trigger 3- easy loading 4- lightweight 5- well balanced 6- high shot count 7- ergonomic
Cons1-VERY LOUD, moderator extensions are a must to be backyard friendly 2- only comes with one magazine 3- dovetail scope mount 4- no lower piccatinny rail for bipod

Fx wildcat
January 5, 2018
I am very happy with my purchase. The sales lady did a awsome job with all my questions on all the guns I was thinking about. I finally settled on the fx wildcat and it was the perfect gun for myself. Fit and finish is way up there which you expect from FX. The scope combo was awsome. The Hawke 4x12x50 is built nice and the view is as good as I have ever had thru a scope. Air gun depot had it packaged well and the ship time was fast. I will be shopping with airgun depot again.
ProsThe scope combo is great with the hawke 4x12x50. The trigger couldn't be any better, its a very light pull and the cocking lever is very smooth. Very nice gun.
ConsI was thinking it was gona be lighter, because of the length but at only alittle over 6 pounds is no bother. I would buy the gun again.

I love the gun, which will literally stack pellets on top of each other at 25 yards. With two moderator sections it is fine for backyard use, and really packs a punch. The scope is a good match. I could not get the first rifle to take a full charge, leaking around 150 bar. I later saw this exact issue being discussed in Airgun Nation. The edge of the charging hole was a bit sharp and I felt it was damaging the probe O rings slightly. Airgun depot was good about the return and sending a second rifle. I ordered a second fill probe adapter, and they sent a new fill probe with the second gun. It is taking a full charge. Note: the probe adapter needs to be really cranked down on the probe using two wrenches and around 3/16 of an inch of threads. Maybe a bit more, even. It is hard for me, and probably many others, to feel like you are overtightening on a gasket. Our dads taught us not to do that! But the delrin ring needs a fair amount of compression to prevent air bypass. My first ring may have gotten misaligned and eventually became part of the problem, as I tried over a period of a few days to stop the air leak by cranking the probe adapter progressively tighter.
ProsGenerally great fit and finish. Great look, balance, hits hard and is my most accurate air rifle. It is also quiet with the moderator sections.
ConsSharp edge on probe hole seems inadvisable. Would be good to provide more information than “wrench tight” on attaching probe adapter to fill probe.

.25 FX Wildcat
July 4, 2017
Did a lot of research, specifically around .25 cal airguns. Purchased the .25 FX Wildcat and glad i made the purchase. I'm able to cycle through around 7 8-shot magazines on one fill. Very accurate, powerful, yet feels good to hold and shoot. So far, only used JSB Diabolo Exact King .25 Cal, 25 gr and the rifle responds well.
ProsDifficult to put down. Fun to shoot in terms of accuracy and power, and glad i purchased extra magazines (7).

Nice but....
May 19, 2017
I originally purchased the walnut stock version. When I received it I was really impressed, the stock looked great and the finish was excellent. Unfortunately the gun was defective, it leaked air at 40 bar. and the barrel was really dirty. I almost asked for a refund but I returned it and opted for a synthetic stock- Walnut was Out Of Stock.

It was shipped quickly and I received the replacement in about 7 days. The finish is good but the synthetic stock seems a little bit shorter. The remainder of the gun was great and shoots fine. It is more powerful that my other springer 25 calibers and easier to shoot.
ProsCompact, good finish, powerful and accurate. Great trigger, manual safety, good weight balance. Good deal from- Air Gun depot - came with a Hawke scope during sale.
ConsOnly one mag included, dove tail scope mount, questionable quality control from FX.

Initial impressions
April 17, 2017
The FX Wildcat is a nice well finished air rifle. I ordered the 25 caliber. Initial Impressions were good, I have the Walnut stock.
It came in a nice cardboard box with foam padding, there is one magazine and a fill adapter included. The manual is in color and seems to be fairly comprehensive.
The cocking lever seems to operate fairly smooth and locks in place. The trigger is awesome best one I felt on an air rifle in sometime. The scope rail is a dovetail not a Picatinny or weaver mount. For another hundred dollars or so you can add that. But at $1,500 retail it probably should have came with it. The air charge adapter as a male threaded end, not a quick release like most air rifles. You have to buy a separate adapter if you want to use this on most hand pumps.

The reason I went with his rifle were the reviews of accuracy, velocity and innovative Barrel design. One big factor was the safety also, not an automatic safety.
I honestly think that FX could have added a few more conveniences to the rifle, picatinny rail, one additional magazine, a more user-friendly air fill adapter.

I haven't shot the rifle yet waiting on my fill adapter. Maybe the accuracy will take away from some of the initial shortcomings. It seems like a great air-gun, but I am a little disappointed FX didn't add a few extras for the price. Also the barrel was pretty dirty- requires cleaning before shooting right out of the box.

ProsBull Pup design, good shot count per fill (reported) no automatic safety.
Consprice and no pic rails, dirty barrel (see pic) -pics will not upload-sorry

ALL YOU COULD ASK FOR IN A FINE PELLET GUN. A LITTLE HEAVY BUT MANAGEABLE.
April 8, 2017
I HAVE FIRED 20 EIGHT SHOT GROUPS, WHERE ALL SHOTS LANDED IN THE SAME HOLE. I USED JSB 14.3 GRN PELLETS, AT 30 FT. THIS COMBO IS WHAT I HAVE ALWAYS WANTED IN A QUALITY, ACCURATE PELLET GUN. THIS GUN PROVED TO ME THAT JSB PELLETS REALY ARE ACCURATE. WITH OTHER GUNS, I WOULD GET GOOD TOUCHING GROUPS BUT I WOULD ALWAYS GET FLYERS, AND I BLAMED THE PELLETS. THIS GUN DOES NOT GET FLYERS. THE PELLETS ARE AS GOOD AS THE GUN. WHAT A GREAT MARRIAGE. I HAVE FIRED 300 SHOTS THROUGH THIS GUN WITH TOTAL SATISFACTION. I CHRONOGRAPHED VELOCITIES AT 938 FPS WITH NO MORE THAN 5 FT PER SECOND VARIATION. I PRAY THIS GUN WILL LAST AND LAST AND LAST.
ProsEXTREMELY ACCURATE. FUNCTIONS WELL. GREAT POWER. 65 SHOTS PER FILL. A PLEASURE TO SHOOT. GREAT TRIGGER. QUALITY DESIGN AND MATERIALS.
ConsTOO LOUD FOR BACK YARD SHOOTING IN A SUBDIVISION. I HAD TO PAY $150.00 TO ADD A BARREL MODERATOR. THAT GAVE A 50 % REDUCTION IN VOLUME, BUT IT IS STILL LOUD ENOUGH TO GET YOUR NEIGHBORS ATTENTION. BENJAMIN MARAUDERS ARE QUIETER THAN THE FX WITH A MODERATOR.

I bought the .22 FX Wildcat, and have had it about three weeks, and I do like it. I fond it to be quite a bit louder than I expected. I have the stack able moderator on order, but it has not arrived as of yet. I am comparing the sound of a FX Wildcat .22 to a .22 Benjamin Marauder and out of the box the Marauder is definitely quieter. As I said the stack-able moderator is not on the FX Wildcat so I can't speak to that yet.
I was hoping for a backyard friendly PCP and I think this could be, but isn't as of yet. I have shot only about 100 pellets thru it and it seems very consistent and id definitely well made with fine fit and finish.

I would have given it 5 stars if it was at least as quiet as the marauder.
ProsSmall and easy to carry, very clean action and good shot count
ConsAt this point a little on the loud side for a shrouded .22 . Wish it had a built in picatinny rail to mount a bipod

I'm brand new to the world of pcps. I did a lot of research and I have probably watched all of teds videos by now and this gun was the one that first caught my eye. When I first got it and pumped it up, I ran out to shoot it and I wasn't sure what to think. It was so quiet that I thought to myself "well this is going to be underpowered". I have it in .25 and it took me some milk jugs and soda cans full of water to actually believe the power this thing is hitting with while not making enough noise for my wife to hear just inside the house. I can't say enough how happy I am so far. The gun is dead accurate and the trigger is unbelievable. Although I haven't used a bullpup without the forward cocking lever I can't imagine it being anywhere else. Everything about the gun just seems very well thought out and it just works. It all feels very natural. I'm new to the pcp world and I feel like I've been doing it for years with this gun. My ONLY complaint is that it doesn't have any way to mount a bipod. For the price I feel like it should have something. It's not that big of a deal I suppose; I already have a rail coming to mount an atlas bipod but it would be nice to have it all there from the factory.
ProsTrigger, ergonomics, lightweight, accurate, quiet, powerful
ConsNo factory installed sling or bipod mounts

New comer to Air Rifle and this was a rifle recommended by Jason on the sale team. He listened to what I was looking for and the gun is unbelievably accurate and quiet. Looks futuristic and aesthetically pleasing. My kids and I love the gun!!!
ProsExcellent gun and very easy to use. Recommend purchasing an air tank and accessories and its easy to use
ConsBecause it requires a high pressure, using a manual pump is a great workout.

I've always wanted one of these European wonders a day finally made it happen . It's an investment you need to consider before pulling the trigger . With that said I got what I payed for shoots harder then my marauders ( no slouched in their own right) . Supper accurate easy handling and a better shot count per fill . The mid cockpit lever is perfectly where it should be . I love it and can't stop shooting it. P.S. she love eating Crosman premiers 14.3 Walmart specials .
ProsWell designed bullpen .cockpit lever is where they all should be.
ConsExpensive for the average guy . I sold two powder burners to get it . No regrets I love the gun . If you can get one do it.

I received my wildcat this morning and immediately mounted the Hawke vantage SF Scope i ordered with it and took it out to run through its paces. Shooting JSB exact Jumbos 15.89 i was averaging 910 fps over the Chrony. i found the JSB's to be very accurate out of this rifle smaller than Dime sized group at 30 yards. I tried other pellets but the JSB's proved to be the best for me. The gun its self is very well made imo. For me It is quite comfortable to shoulder and the balance is excellent. The only issue i have is the safety it lacks positive engagement and could be bumped off safe easily.
ProsVery Accurate, Powerful, Good Shot Count, Very Comfy to Shoot, Light Weight
ConsSafety dos not Lock into position
