I got this to shoot at a distance of about 35 feet. Works well and a lot of fun.

Pros
Fun and easy to use.

Cons
Keep an eye on all the hardware that all is tight. It will loosen up a lot and unfortunately for me led to lost parts in the field.

Fun and works as advertised. Screwed down to a stump. The resetting is easier than I expected and it can take lots of hits at 24 foot pounds. After several hundred near bullseyes to the body it was starting to deform but I simply reversed the body and started hammering it back. At 40 yards I found it to be the perfect challenge for scoped and offhand shooting. Keep some paint handy for touch ups between sessions, multiple bullseye hits make the yellow vague quickly.

Cons
Frequently check the wing nuts for loosening and you'll not lose them.

This is a fun target to practice on. Setup is very easy and it operates as advertised. The only word of caution is the rivets attaching the mechanism to the target uses a slip on type stop which works its way off and can get lost. used a screw and nut to replace. Other than that good target.

Nice resettable target. The target functioned as designed but has some quality issues. The parts did not fit perfectly together so it was difficult to fasten the "squirrel" part of the target to the frame. This also resulted in some lost connectors after a few outings with the target. Also it has the concept of being resettable using a long string attached to the target to pull it back up after a successful hit. This worked fairly well, but a close miss using the insert-able target rings would cause the rings to drop off the target, defeating the resettable feature.

Pros
Heavy duty construction showed no damage after multiple hits from .22 caliber, 950 fps rifle.

Cons
The parts don't fit perfectly making for a tendency for fasteners to loosen unexpectedly leading to lost parts.

easy to assemble, great activity! My nine year old can't wait to get home and shoot the squirrel. I would recommend this to anyone. Airgun Depot was the only one to have this in stock after Christmas. Great website for the airgun owner......

Great target and works well. Had some problem using target in shaded area because of the black color, but placed a lighter backround behind it fix that problem. Boy! It is a huge challenge to hit with the expert ring installed at 75 feet. Enjoying target.

This target system worked perfect out of the box. I like ability to reset the target without walking out to it. Great fun with an air rifle at 25 yards.

Why can't you use bbs on this squirrel field target?

asked The question man

BBs can bounce straight back at you with considerable force, lead splashes or mushrooms and only comes back 10 foot or so.

Robert from USA

It's really a safety concern, since bbs are VERY likely to ricochet when they hit a hard surface. Shooting bbs at a solid metal object like a field target is asking for disaster, the bb will most likely hit the target and then bounce back and could possibly hit windows, cars, or even bystanders. So in summary, never shoot bbs at hard objects because they will bounce back.

Carlos from USA

Is there a minimum speed requirement? Looking into buying a pellet gun that shoots about 450 fps and wondering if it would work with this.

asked S

It should not be a problem.
