Gamo Urban, Pump Combo

My first PCP and I cant be any happier! So satisfying when you aim at the center of the target and land all 10 shots in the same hole. Beautiful, cant wait to go hunting with my new Gamo Urban, thank you Air Gun Depot

Urban Rifle and Hill pump work perfectly. Nickle size groups at 25 yards with Hammers air gun scope and Crossman Premier pellets - good power.

Purchased for pest control. Accurate and reasonably easy to charge. Get a good scope, as it doesn't come with one. The pump works well, but the action becomes a bit more difficult over 2000 psi; takes only a couple of minutes to pump up. I generally only pump the rifle up to 3000 psi to remain comfortably in the green range. The accuracy seems very good down to ~2000 psi, then drops off a bit, but still OK. Much easier to use and more consistently accurate then my break-barrel, and also more quiet. Recommend.

Accurate Quiet Recharge quickly

I live on 13 acres deep in the wilds of North Idaho. Depending on the time of year my homestead is under siege by moles, gophers and ground squirrels. Over the years I have utilized highly accurate .22LR, .22 Mag and 17 H M R rifles to control the unending property damage caused by these demon possessed ground dwelling pests. I could poison them but instead I prefer to set up a sniper nest on my front porch. This method is great sport and extremely stimulating for the entire family. I purchased the .22 Cal Gamo Urban for the specific purpose of trying something new from my Sniper nest. Let me assure you, I was not disappointed. The Urban is so accurate that it is capable of shaving the whiskers of a ground squirrel out to 70 yards on a non windy day. I sighted the rifle in from a sand bagged bench rest inside my shop. 1/4 inch 5 shot groups at 50 yards with cheap Walmart purchased Crosman Premier H P. I Was so happy with tha accuracy that I did not bother testing any other pellets. The rifle is light weight with a very usable light trigger pull. Easy scope mounting rail. No recoil and powerful enough to completely penetrate a water filled hard tin soup can at 50 yards and beyond. Can't wait for summer. I have no doubt that this P C P surgical Hunting air rifle will send a precise message to the 1/2 inch KILL ZONE of the intruders that annually infest the outside perimeter of my compound...... what's not to like. That is all. Pinecone One out.

Not really a Con..... just personal preference. I never liked thumb hole stocks. A synthetic classic American stock version would be iceing on the cake...

Really like this Gamo Urban PCP. Shot excellent right out of the box ! Very quiet and accurate shooting nice tight groups. Mounted a UTG 4 -9 scope and was hitting the bull's-eye with first 10 rounds ,very slight adjustment needed . The pump ,once all the fittings were fitted and making sure there are absolutely no leakage it pumps up in just a few minutes, not as bad as expected . I would highly recommend this combo! MIKE

Ok, so there was not much info on this gun when I bought it on Black Friday 2016. I am glad I did, I wanted an accurate, hand pump friendly, PCP for squirrel hunting and it is that for sure.. So I am using 17 grain JSB's and they are a ragged hole at 25 yards..40 yards 5 shots in a nickel and I have not had a chance to see what it can do at 60 yards.. I am hoping a quarter and from what I have seen I think it can.. So the air chamber on this gun is small 105 cc's, it takes about 65 pumps, about 2.5 minutes to bring it back up to 3300 psi after about 32 on target shots.. It is not hard to pump but if you are not heavy it is more difficult for the last 20 pumps..2500 -3300 psi.. I love the stock and it has a good cheek weld.. So is it back yard friendly, YES , It sounds like a low power 10 pump pellet gun, the pellet hitting a can or spinner is much louder..as for actual FPE..I don't have a chrono to test, but I can say that I have a break barrel with the same pellet that is a 20.25 fpe gun @40 yards will go through 1 thick dog food can this gun will go through 2 inside of each other..not scientific but definitely hits harder.. I WOULD GIVE this gun 4.5 stars if I could, my only complaint is the trigger it is plastic and not great.. Thanks Airgun depot for the great deal
