the magazine is made out of very soft metal (aluminum?) while the screw it hard. Instant cross thread if you are not careful.

This gun is pretty cool. It is built well, looks like the real deal, acts like the real deal. I think it is pretty awesome.
Cons
The magazine. It is like swiss cheese. 2nd day in and it is already stripped. Make sure you have positive engagement on the threads when putting in a co2, which can be tricky. 1 cross thread and game over and it is really easy to do. Don't like it at all. Much better designs out there. Good thing I bought an extra and I will have to be very careful this time around.

Fantastic pistol. Feel, weight, blowback. Quite accurate. I paired it with UUQ Mini Reflex Red Dot Sight (cheap, but sturdy and gets the job done). Great for practice, highly recommend.

Big issue. The system for adding, and changing the Co2 cartridge does not work properly. The round top screw does not have enough thread. Making the screwing in or out very difficult. Initially I thought perhaps it was an issue with my specific magazine. Preceded to call customer support. The person who helped was very courteous, and professional. Sent me another magazine. Received it in no time. When I looked at it realized it was not an issue with my magazine. It is an issue with all. Tried it out same problem. Call to return, and was helped very professionally. The person was knowledgeable, and helped with the return process. He also recommended other guns with easier Co2 change. In my humble opinion do not purchase the Glock 17 gen 5. I have a feeling there will be a lot of returns due to the issue.
