Put this scope on my Sig Sauer ASP 20 and I'm surgical with this setup. The scope is high quality for the money and looks like it'll last for years even though I only have about 100 shots through it so far. I selected this scope because of the etched glass reticle for strength and longevity. Everything is crisp and percise with high visibility and a wide viewing angle. Get you one.

Pros
Quality, high visibility, good glass.

Cons
None

I wanted to extend the range of my Grandsons Hatsan springer 25cal. The iron sights was OK to 25 yds and the accuracy was good enough so I thought I could almost double it with a decent Mildot Scope. I already own a couple of Hawke scopes. This Hawke Airmax 4x12x40 does exactly what I hoped for. Zeroed at 30 yds it's right there with proper mildot holdover on a tin can at 60 even with slight windage allowances. We shot almost 400 pellets so far and still on zero. Very clear optics for plinking but a little difficult with seeing the mildots in lower light hunting conditions but I expected that. On a better gun I would of stepped up to an Illuminated reticle. I was concerned if it would keep zero with the recoil from the stiffer 25 cal. but so far no problem. We easily took out several pest at 30-40 yds and I was fortunate to get a couple out to 50+. He is blown away at how much better he can shoot now and his confidence has soared. . I reckon what you want to know is would I order another one? Just as soon as I can afford to. I have a 1968 Winchester 427 Diana in 22 cal. that I love and the next one will go on it for the Granddaughter.

Pros
Exactly what I expected from Hawke. Clear optics, precise clicks on turrets, and can stand heavier recoiled springer rifles.

Cons
Just a little difficult to see mildots in lower light for hunting on long shots in trees etc. But all other conditions is fine. Not enough to lower my score on the scope.

Received my Airmax yesterday - fighting a 15020 mph wind still able to sight it in in 6-8 shots at 25 yards - make my Marauder scary accurate - highly recommend the Hawke scopes if they are all like this in quality

Pros
Easy to mount and set up - I am old schoo; so side wheels are not for me - very clear glass

Cons

A very well built scope with great glass. The view is crystal clear and you can see the reticles with ease. So far is solid and has not changed from zero. I think it will be great for both hunting and target.

I have the 30 SF one installed on my Brocock Contour and liked it so much I had to get this model for my Beeman R11, so far so good. It is the scope to match the looks and accuracy of this great rifle. The ChairGun app on my phone works like a champ for this scope. I can't complaint at all about the quality and features on this great scope. People at the range ask me what I am shooting and when they hear is an air rifle hitting soda cans at 100 yds. they can't believe it. I let some guys take a couple of shots because they like the airgun and when they look through the scope the look at me and say, WOW this is a very nice scope too. It works flawlessly and my R11 is shooting at 917 fps. with H&N FTT 8.6. I have shot over 2,000 pellets and is holding great so far. Very good scope.

Pros
Quality that will not disappoint and many features you would find in more expensive scopes.

Cons
NO ot a single negative on this item so far.

I waited a long time for this perfect lightweight scope to arrive from China. With wide view and great optics the Hawke Airmax was a dream come true. It looks real nice mouted on my Beeman R 9 (a medium powered springer.) At 50 yards I could see every hole in the target around the big hole over the bullseye. But after 100 shots or so two shots to the left, three shots to the right, two inches high, and all over the place. what a let down. I have a lot of experience properly mounting and shimming scopes on springers and have had only one Hawke that could hold up to the jolt and this one is not it.

Pros
Light and sharp looking with great optics.

Cons
Not spring rated and will not hold up to a heavy or medium powered spring gun.

I've had a week or two to play around with this scope and have been very impressed from day 1. It fit nicely into the scope rings that came with my gamo whisper fusion. It's a huge improvement over the stock scope that came with my rifle, which had a plain jane duplex reticule and no real markings to go by on the turrets. I need to use my rifle as a ~25 yard bird gun and short range shed skunk gun, and the hawke brc software has been very helpful for deciding which range I want to zero my scope at to get the most out of the map6 reticule at both distances. The estimations on the software seem to translate pretty well to the real world.

Pros
very clear optics, great picture all adjustments are very smooth easy to slip the dust covers on/off clear picture through lens covers, like they aren't even there

Cons
the included lens covers often open up from the jolt of firing, I open them before firing anyway so a very minor complaint
