This Hawke Sidewinder 30 scope has an etched-glass reticle- which is superior to a wire reticle because it's etched by a laser and is much more precise. That lets you get even more accuracy from your gun. Another way that etched-glass reticles are superior to wire reticles is when they're illuminated. The etched ones show the illumination only on the reticle. It looks like the reticle is floating. Wire reticles often have a reflection of the illumination in the objective lens- which can be distracting when shooting.

I mounted this on my FX Crown and together they form the most accurate thing I've ever shot! Could not ask for more. Quality is off the hook, performance in low light is absolutely magical. asked NicoYes it can ! This Scope was made to take the slap recoil that these guns produce . They are right in what they say about the Scope in how it looks and the view through the item . It is very clear and easy to see just about every detail on what you are shooting at . Also I have not had to re adjust the Scope at anytime from shooting , even all day and through heat and cold . It holds it's sight in rock solid . I have one but did not buy it here as I have just found this place after 45 years of shooting ! But I will be buying from AirgunDepot from now on that is for sure .

Scope arrived too late to sight in, so I was up at the crack of sunrise the next day to do that. Low light image is shockingly breathtaking. I've been using $100 scopes, so this one is really impressing me. I bought this scope mainly for it's reticle and I'm not disappointed. Whoever designed the reticle needs a pat on the back and a promotion. Made two super clean pest kills at 40 yards after sighting in, my longest yet. For my 22 cal Marauder this optic will keep me happy for a very long time.
