The Hawke Sidewinder's 30mm body encompasses a high quality optical system with Fully Multi-Coated glass. This in turn provides sharp, bright and high resolution viewing in all light conditions. The lens configurations have been carefully selected to offer the optimum performance in low light conditions, while offering excellent range finding properties. The Sidewinder features a side focusing system designed to parallax from 10yds to infinity. The reticle illumination brightness adjustment is positioned on the side focus turret. This allows 5 red and 5 green settings. The settings have been carefully considered to produce low enough illumination levels for dawn and dusk shooting. The open sniper style turrets are calibrated to 1/4 MOA per click. To adjust the turrets the whole assembly is pulled up to unlock, then once adjusted they can be securely locked into position by pushing the turret back down. The turrets are simply reset to "0" by loosening a hex screw on the top. All Hawke Sidewinders come with a large 4" side wheel, to enhance range finding, a sunshade for bright conditions, and screw-in lens covers to protect the outer lenses. Features:

Reticle:

• 10x ½ Mil Dot Reticle
• Fully floating design, featuring dots and ties spaced at mil dot spacing.
• The hollow bars are calibrated for 0.2 mil spacing and whole spacing.

The newly designed 20X 1/2 Mil Dot reticles take the standard Mil Dot to a new level. They feature dots and 'ties' spaced a 1/2 Mil Dot spacing ensuring there is always a suitable aim point available. The reticles are compatible with the free Hawke BRC software, designed to calculate all the aim points to your rifles trajectory. The reticles are etched on glass. This allows a fully floating design where the hollow posts do not reach the edge of the FOV, and the whole reticle can be fully illuminated. The hollow bars are calibrated for .2 Mil spacing and whole Mil spacing. The 20x reticle has true mil spacing at 20x. The 20x version is installed in high magnification rifle scopes making them ideal for shooters who like to shoot on high power.
