The Hawke Sidewinder 30 FFP riflescope takes one of Hawke's hottest scopes and makes it better by including upgrades over the older model. First is the improved H5 optics system, which gives you a startling 24-degree wide field of view and 4" eye relief. The other big new feature is the witness window for the elevation turret that quickly shows you the revolution setting. The windage and elevation turrets both adjust as much as 26 MRAD in clicks of 1/10 MRAD, and you get parallax free views from 10 yards to infinity with the side focus knob.

The Sidewinder was built to exceed expectations in bad weather and wind, with waterproof, fog proof, shockproof, nitrogen purged 18-layer, fully-multicoated lenses. The scope has a 30mm aluminum tube and 50mm objective and the low dispersion crown glass gives you results you'd expect to pay much more to get. The picture is crisp even in poor light, and you can activate the multi LED red illumination in any of 6 levels for a better view of the reticle. You can use this scope even on firearms or airguns with recoil because they're strong and solid.

Hawke designed the FFP half mil reticle for windy and long range shooting with features such as multiple windage aim points and easy range calculation. This reticle gives you half MRAD markings in addition to .2 mil markings on the first and last MRAD sections after the 6 mil mark. The height of the marks is: .2 mil for half mil marks, .5 mil for 1 mil marks, and 1 mil for 2 mil marks. It also has crosses in a Christmas tree layout that are .2 mil wide and high, spaced 1 mil apart on the bottom of the reticle. In the box, you also get lens covers, a zoom lever, 4" sidewheel, CR2032 battery for the lights, 4" sunshade, and a lens cloth. If you want to improve your accuracy, get the scope that gets the most from your gun with the Hawke Sidewinder 30 FFP riflescope at Airgun Depot now.

Pros
Pros: The glass is top notch. I take this in the basement when it is cold outside, focus down to 10 yards and shoot .177 into .22 traps with the illumination set on 3. You won't be able to see the reticle on most scopes in that light. Turrets are precise and secure. The eye relief is 4" so I can move this to most everything else. I don't have a 50 BMG to try it on.

Cons
Cons: Pricy. Caution: Make sure that this is the right power. The big brother to this scope is 6-24 X 56 and will be better suited for longer ranges.

Pros
Pros: This Scope is absolutely amazing when sighted in it is nothing but dead on its pretty easy to find your way around all the wheels and different controls and its a awesome reticle i would 10/10 recommend.

Cons
Cons: The Scope is Overall pretty good but it got its faults like most other things it is very pricey for those on a budget and its somewhat a minimal stress to sight in the scope comes in a awesome box but using it to travel with the rifle the right locking lever broke off but overall its a great scope and i would recommend for those with a larger budget
