S&W 6866 CO2 revolver
I have 18 CO2 air pistols and revolvers: this is by far the best, both in terms of its realistic weight, heft, appearance and accuracy. It must have a red dot sight or scope to achieve the accuracy it is capable of. Using R10 pistol pellets at 15 feet I place all shots in a one inch group - better shooters than I am might improve on that. I have not yet tried it at a 10 Meter distance. Nor have I tried lighter pellets. I get about 40 shots on a CO2 capsule .. then power drops off radically. In my book, that is just fine. I bought this refurbished, not only to save a few bucks but on the theory that whatever caused its return has been fixed (so it won't happen to me). So far so good ...
ProsJust an outstanding CO2 revolver, more accurate than my equally costly Umarex/Colt 45 clone. Buy the appropriate rail to mount a scope or red dot. Note: skip the $20 red dots .. they are junk. I put a Center Point "tube type" Red Dot (about $60) on it, and so far have no complaints about the sight. Excellent grips, very good fit and finish.
ConsNo dislikes.

Great 10 rnd revolver. Lots of power
Love the gun. decent accuracy, very good power. A must have in your collection. This is my second best gun in my collection.second to none other than the Walther CP88 Competition.(my best) I got 60 shots out of a CO2 on this S&W 686.

I have one over ten years old in blue and I just got the silver it worked flawless with no problems.
ProsVery well made and sturdy ,The gun holds it's co2 and get gets a lot of shots It ,comes in a nice plastic case with 2 mags .and room for acc..Handles and shoots fine.
ConsThe only quirk I have is that it does swing open, it uses separate mags and works great.

Nice replica
This gun has very nice single stage trigger, great for practicing for my real 357, I bought some pellets from cabelas that were lead with polymer insert, first ten shots were over 500 fps and next 20 was over 450 fps with crosman co2, I tried those platinum pellets and hit over 560 fps but would only recommend for first 20 shots because they are tight in cylinder and may not make it out under lower pressure, but very pleasantly surprised at the velocity u can pull out of gun, experiment with pellets and u can get some good speed out of this pistol, very happy with accuracy too, best pellet revolver.
ProsWhat's not to like
ConsLittle pricey

Very well built
I purchased a refurbished unit at about half price. It came with a light oil running out of it. I was told this is normal for some gun makers. Removed the cover plate and cleaned it out. Internally, this looks like a regular revolver, with copper plumbing, except around the clip. This one does not need much lubrication. Go easy on the oil and grease. It still needs a break in period, like a normal revolver. Might not feel right during break in. Eventually, double action will be smooth as butter, single, very crisp. I get around 45 shots per CO2. It uses a pressure regulator built into the firing valve. Hard to tell when the CO2 is about gone. Last shot has such low power that it gets stuck and I use the cleaning rod to remove it. No other warning. Use only a small amount of Pell gun oil on the top of the CO2 tank. A whole drop is too much and messes up the regulator. It eventually blows through. The barrel likes to be cleaned, but don't leave much oil behind. The frame is not steel, but casting zinc, and a lot of it. Casting quality is excellent. Gun is built on a true frame, but I wouldn't call it a L frame.

Great gun and quality construction "Accurate!!"
Great gun that shoots very well. You will get about 60-70 shots per C02 and more in warm weather. The gun is very accurate with a nice double action trigger pull. Get the scope mount and spare magazines. I can shoot less than 1 inch groups at 10 yards. One of the more expensive pellet revolvers but the quality is there, German made Umarex
ProsSolid constuction, great trigger pull, great sights and option for a scope mount
ConsThey don't have color matched pellet cylinders. They only come in black and the gun is nickle. I could not locate any paint to match the nickle finish.

S & W 686-6 air gun
Great grips, nice trigger pull in both single and double action. Very solid construction, feels like a real gun. sights in nice. I also have the d.w. 8in. revolver it doesn't even come close to the quality or feel of the S & W 686-6 save your money and get the S & W. This is a great back yard plinker and great practice for the real thing. 600 + rounds no problems. If I could Improve on something it could use high vis-sights. and around 600 fps would be nice.
Prosfeel is great, action good, very solid.
Cons could use a little more power, but not bad. if it could shoot about 600 fps it would be a bonus, also High vis - sights would be nice.

Great, But Lose The Two Tone
These guns are exceptional, but the two-tone look is awful. I'd like to get the nickel finish, but I'd like the thumb latch and hammer to be nickel as well. I swallowed it with the Beretta 92, but I'd go with the black finish with this gun. (I mean, why not make the parts pink?)

This gun rocks, I highly recommend it. Deadly accurate, great sights, high powered, and nickel plated. You get a lot of shots off with one co2 canister.
