The regulators work together, with the first regulator taking some of the strain off the second regulator to give you smooth, powerful, and consistent shots. All of that new power from the larger plenum is enabled by reworked ports and valves for consistent strength, and then channeled into the legendary Superior Smooth Twist X (STX) barrel and liner system that can be customized for the ammo and shooting type you want. The rifle also gives you the features you love from FX, like dual pressure gauges, a 2 stage adjustable match trigger, and the rear external power adjuster. With the Maverick, you get a tactical body with an FX textured AR grip, all new FX buttpad, and the possibility of swapping in aftermarket parts for extra customization.
