I had one of these years ago that went through tens of thousands of BBs and pellets before the barrel launched out of the gun. Even up to its hilarious (in retrospect) end, I didn’t notice a significant loss of power or accuracy. Even with its smooth-bore barrel, it was pretty accurate, especially within 30 yards. My only hesitation in recommending this air rifle is that for a few dollars more you can get a Daisy 880 which has a rifled barrel and a bit more power, both of which are nice if you want to shoot pellets at targets at more distant targets. That said, I would buy one of these in a heartbeat if they went back to the brown stock my old one came with just out of nostalgia.

Pros
Inexpensive, lightweight, versatile, and fun.

Cons
I preferred the old brown stock, for just a bit more money you can get a Daisy 880 which has a rifled barrel.

It is a very accurate rifle and good for beginners. I would buy another one any day. I have fitted it with a scope to shoot in the backyard. I only have good things to say about this rifle :-)

Pros
Very reliable and high power. It is a very accurate air rifle and is good for beginners. Can easily be fitted with most scopes for improved accuracy.

Cons
None

I bought this pellet gun at a wall mart because it was on sale and looked like a good rifle to have around the house. I am really impressed with the performance of the gun and it is defiantly a straight shooter. Ive had it for about three years and it is still accurate and defiantly has proven its self. For $40 it is a great gun and I would defiantly recommend it.

Pros
Cheap Accurate Good Quality Super Fun Light weight

This gun has been great for backyard target practice and small pest control. However after about two years the magnetic pin to load ammo in the chamber became loose and fell off the gun and i wasnt able to find replacement parts. Without the pin it would load 3 to 4 bbs at once... The scope that came with didnt have enough adjustments as the scope left me about 2 ft down and couldnt adjust enough for bullseye accuracy. overall an alright gun but would probably get something else a little better.

Pros
easy bb load, cocking isnt hard, overall a quiet gun

Cons
scope isnt that good but good enough, replacement parts are hard to find

This is a very good gun. I have killed over 15 birds with this rifle. It is very accurate. I would recommend this rifle to any new pellet shooters.

Pros
Very accurate

Cons
Takes a long time to load but I do not mind

This is my first bb/pellet rifle and I have to say that I love it. I have found that crosman hollow points are probably the best pellet option and they are affordable. It is pretty powerful also. You get a lot of fun for your money. It is very fun to hunt birds with. This gun is great fun to just shoot around in the backyard as well, not too loud and pretty easy to use. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because the pellets are a pain to load.

Pros
Fun Cheap Easy Pretty accurate

Cons
Pellets are hard to load

I purchased this air rifle for plinking and found, once the sights were adjusted, it was quite accurate at 20 yds. Plenty of power at 5 pumps (blew through 1/8 in plywood and 1/2 in drywall behind paper target).
The image is 1 pump at 10 yds...
$30 bucks? C'mon, this is really fun!!

Pros
Price Accuracy FUN FACTOR!!

Cons
It looks and feels like a $30 gun...

Everyone is saying this is good for shooting birds. But will it kill bigger birds like ducks easily?

asked Aidan

Is it possble to add a scope to this rifle?

asked Patrick Callahan

Yes like a 4 x15 that's what mine has

Garrett

i this a good pest control rifle

asked dustin from USA

can you have the same gun but in Wood.

Tamani

Well, actually, it's not very good. The low FPS only going under 625 hurts it. It is a hassle and I am interested in selling my camo one. Pumping 10 times and only getting 605 fps makes heart shots seem like it is trying to tickle the birds. I DO NOT recommend this gun. The gamo Hornet is the best pellet rifle for low prices and your sizes

Seth

I have one and I've shot pigeons and small birds but you would have to pump it like 8 times. It's a really good gun for the price.

john

As long as your pest control are small game like squirrels or birds, then this gun will get the job done.
