I was so disappointed in this item. I have one other BB pistol, a Winchester 1911 model which is made by Daisy. I have shot thousands of BB's with it an it has worked flawlessly every time. The only reason I was looking for was greater accuracy. Had heard good things about this model and thought I would try it out. When I got the pistol there were no directions at all included in the box but I was able to get it working for the first magazine full of BB's. Then the trouble began with it jamming up, not firing, etc.
I called Airgun Depot and talked to someone who apologized for lack of directions with the pistol and said there were similar pistols with videos and PDF instructions that he would send me that would help me out. Those instructions never came from him and I was able to find some similar pistol videos on my own. I discovered that the pin that pushes the BB's up to the gun had broken and was causing the gun not to feed the BB's properly. Called Airgun Depot again and they sent me another magazine. I just tried out the magazine today and you get one shot and it begins to release all the air out of the cartridge. Have tried numerous times with different pressure screwing it in and I get the same result.
I am calling them tomorrow to return the whole thing.
Pros
I gave it a 1 star because it looks nice.
Cons
The magazine design is flawed.
The name Sig Sauer , to me means a quality firearm, and now BB or pellet guns. Having a Sig firearm, the real thing baby, I know. WJD
Pros
Easy load, FPS of the projectile, & a real appearance.
Cons
NO INSTRTRUCTIONS packed in the BB gum box.
Best buy I've made from airgun depot, it looks amazing and feels even better in the hands. Has a strong blowback and the realism of the gun is amazing.
Pros
Realistic
good weight
Cons
None
This is the first purchase I’ve made from Airgun Depot and I am far from disappointed. This little plinker was a blast out in the backyard. It looks amazing, hits hard, and just feels right in the hands. The lack of any instruction manual is a bother, but for the most part, any talented individual or gun nut can figure out the ins and outs of this product. I thoroughly enjoy it and I look forward to every second I use it.
Pros
Realistic weight and size
No funny “fake” markings
Strong blowback
Decent power - strong hitter
Accurate shots
Adjustable rear sights - real winner for me
Adjustable trigger pull sensitivity (included Allen wrench)
I’m sure there’s more, but I can’t think of them all
Cons
No instructions -this one is a serious kicker. Magazine took me the longest to figure out how to load. Pull the spiring down all the way, the loading hole is 3/4 of the way down. There’s a small notch on the disassembly tool I use as an assist. Any other instructions you’ll be hard pressed.
Gun does not fully disassemble for maintenance- maybe it’s just me, but the standard 1911 breakdown doesn’t work on this product.
Other than that, none
Amazing as soon as I touched it i was surprised for the price and quality. It felt better to hold than my fullsize glock 22. They focused on realism alot. It also saids 45 Acp on the ejection port like the real 1911s . And what most 1911s dont have are the extended beavertail which looks amazing. Then theres a rail and a chrome trigger which is very light.
Pros
Very real. high quality item.
Cons
None.
This is a really good buy. One of the best that I have bought.
Pros
The grips make this real quality, not the cheap plastic ones on most guns.
Cons
Bubble packaging really sucks.
Most realistic and well made 1911 copy yet , I have colt commanders and tanfoglio witness 1911 Blowback pistols and I thought those were realistic, this Sig is well worth 124.99 , I don't think they can get any better for a blowback bb pistol 1911 copy .
Have not shot for accuracy yet but will review that part of review when finish testing many types of bb,s to find most accurate .
Pros
No WARNING Not A Toy all over the slide , on either side
Rubber packmyer type grips
Great open sights
10 fps faster , yet to be determined
Great balance
Cons
Nothing at this time ,But a word of caution don't walk around outside around people , It looks very real
This is a perfect replica of a 1911 pistol. The grips are actually rubber, and 18 steel BBs fit nicely in the magazine. It has a loud blowback sound and is not fragile. Great buy. Comes with a great piercing co2 system with an allen wrench and its lots of fun
I get a few magazines out of one Co2 cartridge. Simple and solid. Since I HAVE A GREAT BB plinkering Im goinh to buy the official Sig Sauee P226 .117 pellet gun next.
Pros
Most realistic 1911.
Great power
Easy to hold and aim
Cons
No manual included
Alen wrench system,is a hassle
I am really very impressed with the overall quality of this pistol. I shot some of the BB's that came with the pistol, (I think they are ceramic?) They seem to work great. I also shot some of the copper plated lead BB'S, and they seem to work well also. The only problem I have had is with the steel BB'S, some of those have caused jams and a couple of times it went full auto. The CO2 loses pressure really fast during rapid fire, but recover's pretty quickly. I think during warm weather this will function better.
Bottom line; very fun to shoot, good trigger, decent accuracy. I recommend buying some Crosman pelgun oil or similar to lubricate the CO2 cartridge when you install it, just a drop on the tip of the cartridge where it will pierce, also a drop on the valve on the magazine.
Pros
fun to shoot
Cons
CO2 loses pressure fast

asked Per HostageCan I use plastic BBs with this? I bought it to shoot my friends lol
asked Per HostageI just got my pistol delivered, and I am shocked and pretty disappointed that there is no manual included - I am not a serious gunner, but I've had air pistols before, and can't believe there's no instructions - I just bought the pistol to keep the squirrels away from my bird feeder, does anyone know where I can get a manual for it?
asked Stevecan you field strip this model?
asked Ryanmine came with no instruction manual. I cannot figure out how the BBs load into the magazine.
asked David
The Sig Sauer Tactical 1911 is a very realistic looking and feeling pistol. It's accurate out to 10 yards or so and is a great plinker. My only complaint so far is that the CO2 seal in the magazine falls out. I have done a little research about this issue and it seems fairly common. I have ordered 2 more mags and I am going to try to get a few extra seals from Sig Sauer. Hopefully, they will redesign the mag in the future to be more reliable.
Pros
Great shooter Looks and feels like the real thing
Cons
CO2 seal failure
