- Compact version of the P99
- .177 BB blowback
- CO2 powered
- 18-shot BB magazine
- Weaver rail under the barrel to mount a flashlight or laser
- Ergonomically designed grip with finger grooves
- good hand grip/well fitted to your hand, so good for those with smaller hands
- realistic feel and handle, metal all over, with blowback action
- contrary to another review, I like that the gun requires a two tier operation to load the co2 cartridge - this allows you to keep the co2 inserted and ready to go, but not punctured until you are ready
The pistol provides a great amount of fun, but you have to work around the minor drawbacks. For instance, to get the most amount of rounds per co2 cartridge, you have to rack the slide in between shots (towards the end of the co2), it's not sa/da, so you have to rack the slide to fire a round.
The gun proves to be one of my most accurate guns. It is only bested by my pellet pistols (when shooting match pellets from the bench), but shoots at 10 ft range and produces 2-2.25 in groups at a leisurely pace and 1-1.25in groups at a targeted pace.
The day I got it, a friend talked me out of it. Had to order another one for me. I got about 80 to 100 shots before it started loosing power
I recommend that you get the spare magazines, and a lot of CO2 cylinders.
A word of caution here. Be very careful with this pistol in public, as it can be very easily mistaken for a 9mm, even at close range.
This CP99 was clean and worked great. I gave it as a Christmas gift, but opened it and put one co2 cart. through it. Just to make sure it was not leaking...(Who am I kidding I just wanted to shoot it!!! hahaha!)
Worked flawlessly! and my son in law is killing soup cans all over his back yard!
The lack of rifling allows for a loose target grouping. That said I still use it a lot for back yard range time when I cant get to the range for 'real' target practice. It is quiet but the blowback feature is useful in simulating some of the effects of recoil felt with a firearm.
Power blowback and accuracy. Feel like a custom fit piece. Buy this Walther and you will not disappointed. Under priced.
Take advantage and get extra mags.
really feels like you fired a real firearm. I usually can get about 80 shots out of a CO2 Cartridge.
Accuracy is ok for this kind of short barrel guns.
Pretty powerful thought.
You will like it.
im wondering i had a glock style gun before that shoot
bbs and paintball have anyone try these yet?
The blowback works great, the accuracy is pretty good, the price is right, and the fun factor is priceless.
Showed some friends and they too were impressed. They all had smiles after shooting even the gunsmith liked it.
The only drawback that I've found is that once the clip is empty it's a little too light to eject from the base of the pistol's grip. Otherwise it's the perfect CO2 repeater pistol. Get some extra magazines.
i had realy pleasure shooting this gun.. only problem is the screw for the gas chamber is sometimes little bit hard to turn even tho i oil it regularly.. Also i had some problem with the slide stop of this gun.. slide stop broke after 2 weeks.. i dont know why i didnt refunded but i really wish that it didnt break.. well over all nice quality gun! 8 out of 10
