Webley Nemesis, Pellet Pistol

So far no leaks or issues, very fun to shoot, added a laser for indoor fun.

Pros
Very accurate and powerful for what it is. I'm using it to train newer shooters on safety, targeting, trigger control etc.....Using predator .22 pellets it will group about an inch at 10 yds with red dot sight. Only using the single feed for now, haven't tried the magazine. Grip may be a little large for some people, but if you're handy, like most things you can mod it, as its plastic.

Cons
Just a little on the loud side indoors, a suppressor would be nice. For some the included Co2 wrench may require hand strength, it could use some more leverage for tightening the Co2.

Overall, it's one of my favorite fun guns. I do wish the c02 chamber could be tightened without a key. That would allow it to be armed quickly and without opening up the grip & dropping the magazine. The gun shoots powerful & accurate, which means you don't get a lot of shots per cartridge. Maybe a dozen at full/near full power then it drops off quuck. By 20, you're starting to bounce the pellets. But that should be expected, I think, for a .22 c02 gun with 12gr cartridges.

Pros
This is a well built, solid feeling gun. Shoots very accurate and has a fluid bolt that doesn't seem to ever bind. It is quite powerful as well, penetrating better than you would expect a c02 pistol. Sights are simple and visible. The double magazine is easy to load, convenient and works smoothly. Really, a lot of fun to shoot.

Cons
The single shot tray is uber-tight. Good for operation but difficult enough to insert that I sometimes feel I am going to damage it, it being polymer. The c02 chamber being inserted/tightened at the muzzle just feels weird. It is too easy to casually point the muzzle at your face without thinking as youvarm it, so I do think this is a potential safety issue if you are distracted. The double magazine is stored in the handle on top of a spring, and the "key" that tightens the c02 cartridge is what secures it. While this makes it easy to access the magazine, it also projects it out of storage abruptly when you want to use the key. Several times I have had to do a fast catch or pick it up off the floor & inspect for damage.

I loved mine..bit broke it..so getting new one..my fault...the switchable bolt is great..switched mine because of easier reloading/cocking so I didnt have to switch hands keep it in mind you fellow right handers. She shoots straight..feels awesome in my paw...my magazine worked great,also...none of the often reported seal problems from sittin on dealers shelves too long...thank goodness..but I must say,that after using it...if it needed fixin...I would gladly just buy another..Thats how much I liked it..again...it feels great in you hand...good heft..nice trigger with some uptake...hope you get one..and no seal problems for ya...they ARE worth it. P.S. with bottom piccatinny..I got a fold down grip...which is outta this world for stability..especially for us old farts!!! Looks cool to..with silencer front grip laser dot..eat me 007!!!

Any cons ...are from second hand.. About dried or messed up seals when new..if youre lucky like I was ,with No problem...KEEP HER OILED!!!And cleaned.

Nothing really, the one I bought has given me no trouble at all. I have shoot about 4 tins of 177 cal Crosman premier and is pretty dang accurate as well as super cheap to boot.

I have been shooting this gun for almost a year now and I have shot a lot of ammo through it with out a single problem you just have to use the right pellets.

Used it just 3 times The 3rd tome co2 gas leaked out and was gone in 3 second I called airgun depot they gave me the factory number the phone number is disconnected ???

I bought this gun back in March of 2021 and haven't been able to use it since late April of 2021 due to all of its malfunctions I would not recommend buying the Webley nemesis, it's a waste of money..

The seal will give out in a very short period of time causing CO2 to have massive leaks and also the gun tends to jam all of the time

If you must have a Webley, wait for a new model.

I’m re-reviewing after taking this out target shooting three times. Probably got a total of 70 rounds before the CO2 seal malfunctioned.

CO2 seal failed on the third outing. Cylinder just gushes gas out around the puncture end and internal seal intended to keep the CO2 in the mechanism. Further, these overly expensive magazines are a pain in the a## because they’re difficult to insert and remove, plus it jams a lot. That’s a real pain.

Thought this would be a good addition to my pistols. Sadly, it does not perform well at all. It’s clever how the magazine and CO2 compartment tool fit into the bottom of the grip. The gun looks good and feels solid enough.

Cons
The add-on magazines (a two pack) with shipping and tax are 1/3 the price of the pistol. Pellets jam A LOT, cutting down on shooting time. The magazines are very difficult to slide in and remove. I’m only getting 18 to 24 shots per CO2 cartridge and that is far less than manufacturer specs. I don’t recommend this pistol. It’s just too difficult to set up and use. Is it accurate? Yes, very. Too bad it has so many quirks.
