The Barra 1911 is a detailed CO2 BB pistol version of the iconic .45 firearm, giving you an air pistol option with authentic features and precise workmanship. Reaching speeds of up to 320 fps, it's so much fun to shoot that you won't want to put it down.

This airgun has the size and feel of the real steel version, with a durable full metal frame that gives it convincing weight in your hand, plus a functional slide with serrations that retracts to reveal an attractive chrome-look barrel. And the realism doesn't stop there: it continues with blowback action that simulates recoil, plus a ambi-safety comparable to the genuine model.

You can shoot this gun almost as fast as you can pull the trigger because of its semi auto action, which makes it great for plinking multiple targets or sets of cans without stopping to cock or reload. Because it features a one piece metal 18 round magazine that holds a 12 gram CO2 cartridge, you'll also get more time to shoot with less time wasted reloading.

To give you a firm hold and ensure your finger won't slip, this air pistol features deep checkering on its polymer grips in addition to a checkered trigger blade. In order to enhance the accuracy of your shots, it also comes with a fixed rear sight and a fixed front blade sight, plus a Picatinny accessory rail under the barrel, so you can attach things like flashlights or lasers.

If you're a fan of 1911 style guns and want a CO2 BB pistol model that'll help you save on the cost of firearm ammo, get a Barra 1911 now at Airgun Depot.

This feels like a real 1911, the blowback is awesome and fun to shoot!

Pros
The weight and feel of this pistol is very nice, all metal construction. The grips feel good for being plastic. Out of the box it shoots great! Fairly accurate but you can adjust the rear sight if you need to. The sound it makes when you rack the slade back is music to my ears.

Cons
Maybe just the powdercoating, it wears off quite fast. Other than that I like it just the way it is.

Does anyone make an accessory for the magazine to help compress the spring to load the 18 BBs?

asked G.W. from USA

I use a stiff metal rod fashioned for me by a gunsmith with which I depress the follower. Holding the mag upsidedown and pushing down when reloading makes it quite quick and easy. All of the popular 1911 drop out mags have this issue so my little rod gets a lot of use!

Ralph from USA

Does the ambi safety actually work for a lefty?

asked Thomas from USA

is it reliable

asked Jordan from USA

Does the slide lock back when the magazine is empty?

asked Mark from USA

A really nice looking pistol. Is it field stripable?

asked John Emm from USA

Yes

Simon from Canada

Looking at the manual available at Barra, it is field strippable to the degree that the slide is removable in the standard manner of a 1911 design.
