Great Rifle
October 31, 2018
I got the .177 rifle. The 9 oz Tippmann CO2 tank fit the gun without touching the barrel but barely. I did spend the money for the Air Venturi QB79 Series CO2 Tank Adapter and that gave me plenty of room and allowed be to use the Air Venturi 13cu inch HPA tank. I most use the gun with the HPA tank. I shoot mostly 10-40 yards and the gun is very accurate.
ProsAccurate, not pellet picky shoots lead free just as well as lead pellets. Many power sources available (with proper adapters) 12gr and 88gr CO2 cartridges, CO2 Bulk Tanks, and HPA.
ConsNone so far

I've had this rifle about 2 months now. I shoot it tethered to a large CO2 tank. It is extremely accurate. It was a refurbished gun, but it looks like new. No issues at all.
ProsInexpensive, accurate. One of the best deals in airguns.

It has a well finished stock, and the metal work was beautifully blued with a light coat of oil.

Easy PCP conversion
November 30, 2016
I have the QB 79 in .177 and converted it to PCP with an inexpensive adapter with a foster fitting. I use a tank with paintball regulator at 1200 psi tethered to the rifle. I mounted a 6x24 scope and using a benchrest I can hit pea size targets at 30 yards all day long. This gun is amazingly accurate even with cheap pellets. I shoot Winchester hollow point pellets; 7.9 grains.
I have several PCP rifles but this is my favorite for target shooting.
ProsEasy to convert to PCP Amazingly consistent accuracy Low bargain price Not pellet fussy
ConsTrigger is plastic and a bit of a pull, a lighter spring helps a lot. Easy to adjust after removing the stock.

Affordable Co2 Rifle
May 15, 2015
I like it, chinese quality but good gun ,so far after 120 shots very accurate in 20 yards range. Setup mine whit 90 gr. co2 cartridge using an paintball adapter (JT brand from walmart $5.97)and Centerpoint scope.I didn't try with the 9 oz bottle yet (arrive soon from archer airguns) This Gun cock on closing.
ProsPrice, easy upgradable ,accuracy
ConsUseless Iron sights and safety

lights out accurate

This gun is made by industry not Beeman, but its nice solid steel and wood. The only issue I had was finding a 9oz tank to fit so I bought a remote coil and it is even better I can use any size tank I want and it doesn't siphon the co2 making the gun shoot cleaner. And the best part is it shoots like a pcp without the cost of HPA tanks or the expensive gun.
Merchant Response:These guns are made by Industry, however they are imported by Beeman, which is why we have them listed with the Beeman guns.
ProsNot overly loud Shoots very accurately Not overly expensive
ConsThe safety 9oz bottles barely fit putting pressure on barrel having to buy remote coil

Great little gun. Bought this to tinker with and to use with the regulated Ninja SHP bottle to make a fun little PCP. Currently working on making a half-shroud for it.
Prosprice, all metal and wood, lots of mods possible
Consa little loud to qualify as "backyard friendly", not quite as accurate as I'd like (but not bad) - I may be able to improve this.

Very Solid and Accurate Shooter !!!
April 5, 2015
The QB79 has a very solid feel to it being made entirely of steel/wood. Not very heavy and easy of disassemble to fix. Above all, however, this gun is brain dead accurate.
ProsInexpensive.............. Solid steel construction. Nicely stained wood stock. Very Accurate. Easy to work on.
ConsI hate the safety!
