Colt NRA Peacemaker 7.5" Pellet Revolver

  • Code: AGD-44578663 · .177 · 380 fps
Out of Stock
This limited edition CO2 pellet pistol was the result of a collaboration between Umarex and the NRA, and made to replicate one of the most iconic pistols of the American West.

With a weathered flat black finish and 7.5” barrel, the authentic heft and feel of this replica is apparent right out of the box.  With a smooth single action, and accurate functions, you’ll be satisfied with every pull of the trigger.  Its dark mock grips are stamped with the eagle and crossed rifles that make up the logo of the National Rifle Association.  Across the back of the grip are words ripped straight from the 2nd Amendment. “…the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.”  A phrase that the NRA has taken to heart for over 100 years.

As beautiful to shoot as it is to look at, load up the 6 included pellet shot shells to send them flying at speeds up to 380 fps—perfect for backyard plinking sessions with soda cans, balloons, or whatever you want! Since this is single-action, you will be cocking the hammer ever shot!

If you’re a lover of historic arms and want to own a piece of it, this NRA Peacemaker may just be its definitive edition.

What with the Covid thing and social distancing keeping me away from the gun club, I find I'm becoming addicted to my daily range time at my indoor barn shooting range. These co2 guns are a step way above the way they used to be many years ago and are really fun to shoot. So much like the real thing in feel that I actually don't miss my real firearms that much. I can shoot like forever for like five bucks instead of the fifty I'd spend shooting a real revolver. Heck, you save so much with these that a couple of missed sessions shooting 45 long colts will pay for the Co2 shooter.

Pros
Great fit and function, though action is a bit stiffer than my other peacemaker. Very accurate with light weight pellets and it does shoot a long while on one Co2 cartridge. Weight and feel much like the original and I like the grips.

Cons
Just small things. As some have mentioned before on these guns, the packaging is really cheapo for a premium priced gun. The aged looking finish was disappointing, giving the revolver a cheap plastic toy looking appearance. I've seen some of these in videos with a polished blue which looked awesome or nickel would have been nicer. All the dang white writing makes it lousy for display purposes.

After more than just a "little lookin' around" for a rifled 7.5 in. Umarex Colt, it became very clear to me my only available choice was this NRA edition, and I didn't want it! No I wanted nickel, like my 5.5 in rifled pellet Peacemaker, or blued like the Duke special edition with ivory grips. But no, 'faux weathered' with fake plastic grips was all I was gonna see despite the rumor read somewhere, Umarex was at some point in the future, going to allow one to custom order the configuration of Peacemaker one wanted. God almighty, if you love these revolvers, the way I have come to, I'd gladly drop significant dollars, for the look and combination of barrel qualities and grips desired(maybe real wood?); would anyone else? Of course they would! But I digress, this is one fine weapon, and whatever it looks like matters not one iota as to how it performs. I shoot from 70 to 80 feet or more, and the difference in Peacemaker precision with that 7.5 in barrel is astounding. Hit after hit on target cans, at 75 feet with stock open sites, right out of the box. Thank you Umarex, I love all my Peacemakers, including this new NRA edition. There is an elegance to this weapon; holding it feels radically different than the 5.5, ...perhaps more... consequential. When this gun reports, its not just a shot, it's an event! Just want to share, as a test I loaded the NRA without seating each pellet forward in their casings, stopping before they drop thru, as I always do of late, 'cause it deeply affects accuracy. Shots were entirely less predictable, which was immediately improved with taking the time to seat the pellets forward. I use an ice pick to move the pellet about 3-4 millimeters forward in the shell, after the cartridge is loaded into the cylinder. Small bit of trouble but the proof is in practice; if accuracy matters, this matters. Somewhere in another's review of the revolver, the action was described as 'rougher', less smooth, than other 5.5 in. models of Peacemaker that reviewer owned. I also found this true. But with Pellgun oil lubrication on my first 2 CO2 jets, the action has become noticeably smoother. Somewhere I'm hoping to find an easy to do, 'instant bluing', maybe change the look of the NRA Colt to something more,...pleasant. But as a shooter, from my experience with 3 other replica revolvers, this baby is only going to ripen into something sweet and special, the deliverer of 6 rounds of perfectly placed, Peacemaker presence.

Pros
Where to start? Buy a replica revolver, any one of the more than dozen or more configurations offered; perhaps like myself you'll find your Soul stirred. That's a pro! From any of the Umarex Colt offerings, one reads of 'fantastic realism', for 'pennies a session'. I didn't even know I liked "Wheel Guns", 'till I picked up a Remington 1875 (Crosman's), and promptly fired a pellet round thru a beer can's "bulls eye" from 75 feet on open sights. My first Peacemaker, a nickel finished 5.5 rifled pellet model, was just about as accurate and at least as fun to shoot, as the Remington. I could go on and on, and plan to... The biggest pro for the NRA-SAA I'm reviewing here is 7.5 inches lending to greatly increased accuracy of an already insanely accurate run of amazing replica 6 shooters.

Cons
Careful, you could get addicted; I know for sure I have.

The gun very accurate shooter, and powerful also. One CO2 capsule holds for the end of the times. The 7,5 inch barrel a little bit long for play John Wayne but the accuracy is more important . With lightweight pellets this gun very powerful, easily penetrate thin cans also. I recommend for anyone who love the western guns.

Pros
Beautiful Very good accuracy Powerful

Cons
Little bit heavy for one hand aim Hard to find quality 7,5" holster

If it's a limited edition, whats the edition limit. Where is the four color commemorative box. Mine came in the usual brown box with the NRA logo on it. It also came with the safety off which means someone had it out of the box. It has a small scratch and two small dings on the cylinder. It is also identical to the picture of the gun with the words single action smeared. It must have been the gun they used for the picture. I want new out of the box, not played with. If anyone else has this gun please write a review, am I the only one with this problem? My first bad review.

Can I put a orange tip on this? I’m thinking about not just shooting it for fun but (unloaded) Going to anime conventions with it and I want to be sure its allowed in the building

asked Alec

Is the barrel rifled?

asked Gregory Payne

hello, is it a used revolver? because I see an erased part of the inscription on the barrel. Thank you for your reply.

asked Damiano

Can the colt SAA cartridges be used with this ?

asked Steve Holloway

If it's a limited edition, whats the edition limit? I would like to know the specifics, And Special indicative packaging?

asked Daniel from USA

It does sound like you might have gotten the one in the photo. Do you have inside info that they box them with the safety in the ON position? My plain edition pellet version didn't come with the safety ON either.

asked Daniel from USA

The catalogue description says the barrel length is 7.5-in. while the Specs table claims 6.75-in. Which is correct?
