Pros
Great accuracy, high quality of shot counts per co2 cartridge, w/the addition of a red dot puts the 2240XL over the top!!! I can shot it for hours!
Cons
None!
Save your money the crapsman 2240xl is a big disappointment!!!
Pros
Good but not great.
Cons
This weapon is a gas hog. The one I received has poor seals from the factory(AGD). If you blow into the muzzle you can hear air escaping from the bolt seal and the transfer port. I have replaced the seals and still leaks. Quality control should be shot with this weapon but it probably wouldn't hurt because of the leaky seals. On second thought quality control should be beat with this weapon. Wish I would have used the money to completely mod my 1322. What a waste of time and money.
Red Dot is the way to go.
Pros
Accurate
Cons
Sights = Lame
Pros
GREAT gun for the "Modder", It already has the steel breech and threaded barrel. Iadded a pistol scope and suppressor to start ,with other mods coming soon . GREAT Price ...GREAT service and GREAT GUN !!!
Cons
NOTHING ...For Under 100 dollars this is a must have
I put a micro red dot on this pistol and a grip sleeve for added texture and stability and it is a very good shooting pistol. I can shoot mine accurately out to 20 yards off hand. Becoming one of my favorite plinkers.
Pros
Very well balanced, accurate, feels good in hand, grip/stock options, decent power, quality build. One of the best shooting pistols I've shot.
Cons
Fit/Finish minor issues: Some rough/sharp edges where you load and handle the bolt (tore up my trigger finger a little) The grip doesn't sit sung on the frame ( i bought a $10 Hougue universal grip sleeve that goes over the stock grip and it holds it steady a bit )
Pros
GREAT Deal !!!......Most people mod these guns ,,,2240XL is a great start ...Very good price !!
Pros
shoots very nice, straight, and strong
Cons
no rail size in description
This is especially for people like to tinker. It could easily become a very expensive airgun. Mine now shoots pellet on pellet at 15 yards at 600 fps with 16gr Air Arms pullet. Over 5 years there has been much tweaking!
Pros
Inexpensive... to start.

Pros
This version comes with mostly metal upgrades you would buy for the 2240 base version after the fact such as metal breech, trigger, and barrel stay, with a threaded barrel for a moderator. Fairly accurate and a lot of fun to shoot.
Cons
Mine arrived with cosmetic defects: The grip had a small crack (I had planned on replacing. it anyway). The CO2 camber was scuffed down to the bare metal - Crosman's solution? Use a black indelible marker and try to hide it. - minimal packing to support the pistol during shipment - Quality control is questionable at best.
