The Crosman Prospect gives you a PCP air rifle that's perfect for precision shooting because of its adjustability and convenient features. It gives you speeds of up to 1000 fps in .177 and 900 fps in .22, so you get the power and accuracy you need for successful small game hunting, target shooting, and pesting.
This air rifle gives you excellent accuracy shot after shot thanks to the regulator, and it gives you a sharp and predictable break because of the two stage trigger that also has a manual lever safety. Plus, you get adjustable features for a custom tune because of the externally adjustable hammer spring tension and the transfer port power wheel on the side of the receiver.
The Crosman Prospect gives you precision because of the rifled barrel, and shots that are quieter than you'd expect from a rifle of this power level because of the shrouded barrel, which also has 1/2x20 muzzle threads so you can add an external moderator. This air rifle also gives you an all weather synthetic stock that features textured rubber inserts on the forearm and grip so it's ready for any conditions.
You'll appreciate the precision you get from every shot because the Picatinny scope rail combines with the height adjustable textured rubber cheek rest to give you the best eye alignment every time you shoot.

Pros
The first thing I like is the accuracy. Straight out of the box, aired it up, mounted a new West hunter ffp scope. Out of the first mag, I had it zeroed at 30 ish yards on my backyard range. This thing can definitely shoot. 10 rounds of jsb's centered on my 4 inch splatter targets. Less than quarter sized group. It has great power as well. So far in 3 months, it has knocked out more than a dozen fat gray squirrels, 2 big trash pandas, 1 skunk( skunks and trash pandas try to kill my chickens.) And put holes into 2 coyotes. I have only tried 3 pellets out of it, the JSB's are the best at full power. The CPHP's do good when you turn power wheel down. At full they are inconsistent. Sound wise, it has a bark, so I installed a RedCorn outdoors moderator, and now you hear the sound of the pellet hitting, the bark is definitely tamed. This is a great deal, for first time PCP owners, or old timers. It may look different, but once you shoot it, you will love it.
Cons
Where are the doing swivels? For months it was advertised as having sling mounts. None! WTH? Course studs are easy enough to install, but why advertise them when they have never been part of the rifle? And why include only 1 magazine? Come on now! When other manufacturers are including 2 or 3, and a single shot tray, why is Crosman only including 1 magazine?
