The Compact version uses a 300cc carbon fiber bottle and the same 89cc Power Plenum as the larger models. Because of that, you get more power and more shots, so it's great for heavy ammo at long range. And you get smooth shots at steady speeds because there's a second externally adjustable AMP regulator.

The FX Wildcat MKIII BT Compact gives you a 500mm Superior STX barrel, so it's light and easy to maneuver, and you still get the accuracy FX is famous for. The rifle also has an adjustable two stage match trigger and smooth sidelever action. Plus, the 1/2" UNF threading on the muzzle lets you get quieter shots when you add a moderator, and you can add your favorite scope to the Picatinny scope rail.

You also get the flexibility of the 7 position hammer spring adjuster and the fine tuning hole on the wheel for a custom tune using an Allen wrench. You can use this wheel and the externally adjustable regulators to get anything from a powerful shot for long range hunting to a lower power shot for backyard target shooting.
