The Bully brings the same attitude and performance to the table as it?s older brother, the Hercules. The most notable change over its sibling is the synthetic bullpup style stock, which reduces weight but still packs just about the same punch, but in a much more manageable size. The adjustability allows for customization to fit any shooters needs. Available in just about every caliber out there, the bully just might be the most versatile option Hatsan has ever offered. The energy varies between 50 to 290 FPE, depending on caliber and each barrel is riffled and choked to ensure a true fit for pellets. Each rifle includes Truglo flip up sights and a weaver mount for any type of optic you have in your arsenal!

This has the potential of being a great whitetail gun, but if you buy it be prepared to mold and size your own bullets or settle for round ball. You will be on your own regarding customer support and correction of rough machining and a picatinny rail made of soft material. I paid close to $1000 for this gun shipped which I would not have done knowing what I know now.

Pros
Powerful. Compact design. Well balanced.

Cons
Delivered to me with a bent picatinny rail, making it impossible to mount and zero a scope. Customer support non-existent. Rough action very difficult to cock. Trigger very heavy and will need adjustment right out of the box. Owners manual useless. No mention of bore diameter, leaving you to guess whether to use .452, .454, or .457 diameter bullets. Magazine depth too shallow and loading port too narrow to accommodate most .45 bullets. Primarily a round ball gun. Exceptionally loud. QE technology no help. You will need to add a suppressor.

I bought my bully in .30 and its a lot of fun. Had to clean the barrel before it would shoot straight. I ditched the fill probe system and use a Huma bottle regulator with a quick connect fitting. Its much more convenient. Reg set at 170 bar, shoots slugs or pellets over 900fps consistently. Likes JSB 44gr best but slings NSA hp accurately over 100 yards. Good medium quality airgun

Pros
Powerful and accurate if tuned for your specific ammo.

Cons
Heavy trigger . The fill probe keeps using o-rings. Gun is well balanced but heavy . Hammer spring adjustment is a pain.

Even is a Qe ia a loud gun, manufacturer can deliver together with gun supresor in order to reduce noise level. This is not a toy beeing ?i powerfull is deadly in all caliber, suggest do not allowed for kids to use.

Pros
In 25 calibre limited Sand color,Heavy, strong build turkish original Hammer forged barell.Very precise gun at 100m for sharp, shooter who know how to use the wind when shot, easy adjustable power, very powerfull. For precision need heavier pellets.Choose prosper caliber for hunting according with your needs.Original sighting and the scope delivered with the gun are not perfect but are good enough If you adjust and know how to use them.

Cons
A wallnuts stock was perfect for this powerful gun, degasing screw material of build poor quality steinless steel was perfect.

I just received my Hercules Bully yesterday. Everything seemed fine until i took my first few shot which were very very powerful i might add. After a few shots the safety got stuck in the off position. I had noticed when i first opened the gun that the safety felt very stiff and hard to move. After it got stuck i took the stock off and found that i had to adjust the trigger linkage a bit to get it working. (overall the safety design is not great it definitely could be better) maybe i got a dud but no matter how i adjust the linkage it move quite stiff. (hard to flick off with 1 finger. I also was missing the sling that it is supposed to include. One call to customer service and they sent me a sling right away, and told me i must call Hatsan to talk about the safety issue. Overall the customer service was good. As far as accuracy i don't have an answer yet as i have only taken about 10 shots. This air rifle is very very loud. I was shocked at the noise level. Hover i don't have much to compare it to as this is my first big bore air gun. I would say it is a bout 60% as loud as a 12 gauge shot gun. overall I am enjoying that gun. I think some parts could have better quality for the large price tag however its not the worst.

Pros
- extremely powerful - feels balanced

Cons
- not the smoothest action (very stiff but hey its got a heavy spring) - the Safety is not smooth. Definitely needs improvements.

I purchased the 45 cal ,after a few adjustments like the trigger this rifle comes with a heavy trigger,I adjusted the power about 2 full turns clockwise and my God this can do anything from buffalo to dinosaurs. I recommend not to shoot this in your backyard unless you live in the woods. My next test is a target at 100 yrds we will see.Well worth the $ and This bullpup is more fun to shoot than any other gun in my arsenal. If you decide to purchase the 45 cal definatly get you a 90 cup ft carbon tank I get quite a bit of fills.Hand pump is not recommended for this rifle. This is a serious tool not the average airgun.

Pros
Super power, multie adjustable, durable, fun, plenty of room for attachments, many uses, comfortable, compact, easy to take apart and reassemble, super accurate.

Cons
I don't have enough pellets Time to go shopping. Can't find strong enough targets. At least a 90 cu foot tank highly recommended.

I bought one of these one purpose... Hunting... This will make short work from anything from woodchucks to whitetails... Carries good when stalking in the woods, great for tree stand hunting whitetails. I prefer the open sights for tree stand hunting, but that's just a personal preference... Red dots work good too.. Most of my shots are anywhere from 25 feet to 30 or 40 yds... The 3 magazines are a plus. Get a good bipod and choose your ammo...

Pros
Easy to carry, easy access to the magazines provided, easy to fill, easy to shoulder and feels very comfortable.

Cons
The sling is crap...

Hi. Im new to the pcp genre and am very intrigued. I am in the research phase and had a few questions. 1. I am familiar with traditional firearms, but what is maintanence like for a gun of this type? 2. What is the likelihood of a gasket failure with these guns? 3. Is this gun good for hunting coyote?

asked Dale Baker

I live in the state of Texas which will allow airguns for game this year. I need a minimum projectile weight of 150gr at a minimum of 800fps or any combination of these and 215 ft lbs of muzzle energy. It appears the Bully in .45 meets this criteria. Does anyone know for sure if this gun will meet the requirements?

asked Jacob from USA

What is the best 45 ammunition to be used with this rifle?

asked Daniel from USA

What is the fill pressure on the bully

asked Russ

Sounds like a great gun, if only the barrel twist rate, number of lands and grooves and their type and depth; also, if choked or not. I presume that the velocities published were made with the lightest pellets, the kinetic energy given was with the heaviest pellets, and the number of shots per fill are as stated at the optimum velocities, but for shot count, fps, or fpe? I calculate somewhere in the middle between the published velocity and the velocities to obtain the highest kinetic energy. If anyone has the real world data on velocity, pellet weight, and accuracy, I can't extrapolate, statistically speaking, the values to compare quality and performance and see how it measures up to the price. What attracted me was the under $1K price and the eye opening data and stated performance. Thanks.

asked Francisco Javier Briseno

Not regulated?
