This gun not getting into exact measurements is a great replica of what has been the AR platform issued across most of the U.S. Service . It has the look and fell. You can separate the upper and lower by tapping out the pin. The charging handle is just for looks. I do recommend opening the Dust cover when firing for in the rare incident of a BB jam. They are easier to un-jam when there is a place the BB's to go. The Sling Swivels hooks are cool. I also found that it will attach an M7 Bayonet. My M9 will not fit over the muzzle break. The gun bayonet sattachment doesn't match the exact M4 attachment I am familiar with
What the gun consists of is a double action trigger striker, the Magazine where everything happens and a nice long steel barrel for a BB gun
Now for shooting I don't have an chronograph so I don't know the real speed. Using mine on Days in the Low 80's F It is piercing steel coffee cans and Bush Baked bean cans at 10 – 20 yards. I have most always get 8 full mags out of a co2 cartridge and it runs out of gas. So that is 144 shots.
Although you have to single drop the rounds in it is friendlier that other guns built to single drop the BB's only into . If you have all your fingers and decent dexterity that is nothing to write home about.
I added a rugged mock combat ACOG, AN/PEQ-15, Bipod, crane stock, sling, 1-point stock mount ring, foregrip, and mock suppressor. It is about a pound lighter than the real SOPMOD kit, (there's no buffer or spring so that's why its lighter), but it is freaking amazing and solid to use as a training rifle. Minus the lack of a functioning "bolt carrier" and bolt release. It hit a way higher expectation for me than what I initially expected. Love it so far.
Good power out to 20yards, for money is worth.
I try most of the steel BB, Smart BB and Dust Devil, it looks like the Smart BB works best.
No other commend.
