The JTS Airacuda Max is a PCP air rifle that gives you the performance and features you want in a sturdy and striking package. You'll appreciate the fact that you get steady and reliable speeds from this air rifle because it's fully regulated, so you won't have to worry about big changes to the point of impact from each regulated shot.

For your convenience, this air rifle has a fill gauge and a regulator gauge on the bottom of stock, and there's a male Foster quick disconnect fill fitting as well. Getting the right cheek weld is easy with the adjustable cheek rest, so you'll get a good view when you add your scope of choice to the metal Picatinny scope rail.

The JTS COMP1 gives you an easy way to fill your high pressure PCP airguns without having to rely on bottles that you need to fill before you leave or hand pumps that give you a workout. You'll get features that let you use this compact and portable compressor whichever way is best for you.

You'll appreciate this compressor's focus on cutting down on maintenance because it doesn't require oil that needs to be changed or added. It also gives you extended run times because it uses a thermal dissipation system with high flow fans that cool the whole unit and all internal components.

Pros
Very nice looking rifle. Not heavy at all, and the accuracy is amazing out to 30 yards. I only have 30 yards for now to shoot it, but it will pellets in 5he same hole.

Cons
I don't have any!!

I've been shooting 34 grain pellets so far. JSB and FX. I bought 34 grain H&N slugs too, but have yet to try than.

Pros
This guns is way more accurate than any springer I've ever shot...and quieter, with no recoil. Paired with a Hawke Airmax makes this gun deadly accurate. Recommended for game up to 35 lbs. (.25 cal.) My son, who is 10, can hit a soda can at 75 yards. It's very user friendly. And doesn't weigh a ton like some springers I've owned. Quiet enough to shoot in town.

Cons
Wish you could get more shots per fill....and I wish it came with a bipod

One of the reviews mentioned this is a "springer". My understanding is that a spring comes forward and charges the air tank in springers. Why do you need an air pump? Please correct me if I'm wrong.

asked richard from USA

Allen was just saying that the guns that are powered by using a spring (springer) or inert gas (both of which use a ram driven by either power plant to compress air behind the pellet and shoot it all in one motion) generally have very severe double recoil. This is not true in PCPs, higher power ones tend to have recoil just like firearms. You will need a pump (like the one provided in this bundle) to fill up the air tank (the tube under the barrel). I am talking from experience, pumping with a hand pump does get to be tiring, but if you don't want to spend money that much, it is a great option, allowing you to get high performance at longer ranges, and with a quieter report. Springers and gas piston powered airguns have very loud actions, the ones that come with suppressors generally don't help, as the smack of the piston post against the end of the cylinder makes a lot of noise. This is not to say that PCPs don't have springs, they do. When you cock the gun, it loads what is called the hammer spring, which acts just like the hammer on a firearm. When the gun is cocked, air flows (in most designs) into a little chamber called the 'plenum' (the larger the plenum, paired with a regulator and correctly adjusted hammer spring, the more consistent your shot strings will be). When you press the trigger the hammer is released and slams into the valve stem, releasing the air from the cylinder, through the transfer port, into the chamber, and into the barrel. If your hammer spring is adjusted to slam the valve stem harder, the valve remains open longer, allowing more air into the chamber, vise versa with the lower settings. I hope that this is helpful, and you find the right air gun for your needs. I will recommend the Umarex Zelos, it has the smoothest side lever you'll ever feel for under 1k, it is a tack driver, and it is very powerful.
