I am a total beginner. This is not 100% ready to use out of the box. Tweaking, adjusting learning and trouble shooting seem to be something I do every time I use it. I shot 200 rounds before I realized the scope was defective. The learning curve is quite steep if there are any issue like the scope not zeroing out. The juice is not worth the squeeze in my opinion and I would not recommend this to a beginner.

The scope would not zero out. It jams ALL THE TIME. The reloaders will not come out of the if there are pellets loaded. So if it jams you just keep jamming more into the gun until the clip is empty.
My gun shoots tight groups with the 18.12 grain H&N Baracuda pellets. As an avid shooter and reloader, almost every gun is different and will shoot better or worse with different ammo, you just have to find what your rifle likes and stick with it. I bought some H&N 14.66 grain pellets and even at 20 yards they dont have as tight of a group as the 18 grain ones, so I just use the 14 grain ones for plinking and the 18 grain ones for hunting. I am thinking about getting the 25 or 30 cal later down the road.

Very accurate rifle, I got the 22 cal. and using a tripod just as a rest have shot out to 75 yards which resulted in a 1.5" group, at 50 yards I got a 3/4" group. I have not shot it at 75 yards with a steady rest but am sure I could tighten up the groups. The picture I have added was after assembling the rifle and shooting it, so pretty accurate right out of the box, that was at 30 yards.

The one thing that I can say is that the weight of it is a little much for what it is but can handle it. That would not stop me from buying this again or recommending it (which I already have done).

This rifle is AWESOME! I bought it for a gift to my son-in-law and after he'd sighted it in, we set up a bunch of targets. BAM, they went down. We've had a blast shooting this rifle. He has a lot of large rodents around the ranch that are in for a nasty surprise. Know I'll be buying another one (or two).

Gun shoots great and is accurate once you get the scope sighted in. I have shot targets up to 40 yards so far with pretty great accuracy. Gun is very easy to fill and use as well.

Gun is a little heavier than I had anticipated and would prefer it to be a bit lighter. And I dont know if it is just a defect with my particular gun, but the canister does not stay pressurized after sitting for a short period of time. I have filled it up several times now and I have left it sitting for 30 minutes after filling it, and when I check the gauge it is empty. I expected a sealed air canister to stay pressurized once it is filled.

Know this rifle needs a portable compressor. They make them with 2 DeWalt batteries or with 12 volt dc adapters for your truck or car refills

asked Joshua from USAEffective range highly depends ballistic coefficient, weight, and fps of the ammo you are using. And it really depends on what you mean for small game. Are we talking birds, mice, and other small rodents (in which case this gun is overkill)? Or are we talking coyotes, foxes, and groundhogs? I have heard this gun can shoot 44.75 gr ammo at 1000fps. If these numbers are correct and it was a slug, you are looking at 24fpe at 300 yards. It doesn't drop under 40fpe (good enough to take down most coyotes) until over 180 yards. This is all given you have a slug that is stable at that speed and it is accurate enough to hit that far.

Cons: Well the air leak issue hit me. Please read carefully, lubricate the orings on the rifle. The fill port is not stainless steel and will create condensation that will destroy the o-ring. If it is destroyed it's very small and can be easily replaced.
