The Umarex Gauntlet 2 is the next evolution of the airgun that changed the industry and raised expectations about what was possible for performance without breaking the bank. This upgraded model reaches speeds up to 1075 fps in .22 and 985 in .25, plus energy up to 33 fpe in .22 and 51 fpe in .25, so it gives you plenty of power for small game hunting, pest control, or target practice.
The air tank is the upgrade you'll spot right away, since it's noticeably larger than the one on the older model. At 24 cubic inches, it has almost double the volume of the previous version, so you'll get more shots, with over 70 shots in .22 and over 50 shots in .25. It also fills to a higher pressure of 4500 psi, which lets the regulator operate at 1900 psi in .22 and 2100 psi in .25, so you get higher power as well.
Another improvement is the use of a four baffle design, so you get shots that are 8 dB quieter than before even though they're faster and more powerful. There's also a larger bolt handle with knurling that's 15% easier to cock, plus the lighter and slimmer all weather synthetic stock, which is now flat dark earth instead of black.
The airgun now features a Picatinny/dovetail scope rail, plus M-LOK slots on the bottom and sides of the forearm so you can add accessories like bipods, lights, and lasers. If you're ready to experience the new developments in this line of consistent, accurate, and affordable airguns, get an Umarex Gauntlet 2 at Airgun Depot now.

Pros
Awesome gun for the money
Pros
Excellent value for your money! I purchased the 30 cal Gauntlet for my birthday last year and am very happy with my purchase, This is a very powerful airgun and is very easy and fun to shoot. Moreover, it is very well-designed and aesthetically quite pleasing. With muzzle energies between 98 fpe and 110 depending on ammo type, this gun will never disappoint. Great for target practice, hunting, or any other type of sport shooting. The best airgun I have ever had by far!
Cons
Only gripe is that the 7 shot magazine has to be loaded backwards, which can be a little confusing at first.
If you're looking for a no frill to kill airgun, it's a great deal. 4 stars easy
Pros
It's accurate and powerful with a decent shot count. I was deciding between this and the Hatsan carnivore. I still need to shoot it more and get more familiar with it. I love that it's a 30 caliber repeater with 100 fpe. Don't know about distance or pellets yet, but it seems to group great 30 to 50 yards with JSB heavies.
Cons
It's a big gun, it's heavy, but in my opinion this makes it more stable. It is also LOUD. I bought it for night time urban coyote hunting and I wouldn't dare shoot it past sunset. I bought a 75 dollar suppressor and it's as quite as my condor ss 25 and much more powerful. Side lever is a little tight but not a deal breaker. Trigger is long, but can be adjusted. Bottle leaked from delivery, if I can't fix it I will exchange. Can't wait to hunt with it.
This is a great airgun
Pros
The gun is awesome
Cons
Wouldn't change anything
With those improvements would be a 5 star review
Pros
Very good for bench and hunting.Excellent groups at 25 and 50 yds with JSB 25.33 and 33.95. Quiet for backyard shooting, quieter with moderator
Cons
Cocking effort, need a lot pressure. Replace for a side lever system. The key wobbles and is difficult to engage. Should be replace for a flat screwdriver mode.
Pros
I like the Style or looks of the rifle and after cleaning the barrel and about 200 shots the gun us very accurate, with the right pellet!..
Cons
Thus air rifle is heavy! .. the bolt action is very hard initially but it does loosen up after a couple hundred shots.. the trigger pull is long and hard and you git to disassemble it to adjust it.. also the safety is hard to engage and the finish on the trigger and safety is very rough. Also I had to modify the forearm so I could full up the rifle with air, no hig deal but on a new gun you shouldn't need to
Ok so head to head with my avenger.. Mt avenger has a better an smother trigger pull and the sidelever is way better and smother..and the avenger is a lot lighter
Pros
I like the shot count and the looks of the rifle
Cons
To heavy, trigger pull and feel is really bad, bolt action is very hard witch makes quick follow up shots hard, the trigger also has rough edges, and last I had to modify the forearm so the quick fill would connect should not have to on a brand new rifle, I use the nomad 3..
You will not be disappointed with your purchase.
Pros
This is a really amazing air gun for the money I don’t think you can beat it..I have range finder verify 100 yard head shots.
Cons
Hard to cock…wish it was easier to cock it’s hard to get a fast reload if your in a difficult shooting position and need that next shot.
Deciding what compressor and tank system to go with is the only thing delaying my purchase. Regardless, it will be THIS airgun.
Pros
I don’t own this gun (yet) but I used it on a guided iguana hunt in south Florida recently.
This air rifle is AMAZING. Absolutely AMAZING. I harvested nearly 100 lbs worth of iguanas in a 3 hour hunt from a boat, including a rangefinder-verified 79-yard headshot. This air rifle totally changed my mind about PCP airguns. I have several gas piston .22’s and thought they were an adequate representation of what an airgun could be. Until I used this. I have no idea what other PCP’s are like, and don’t care. I’m buying this one, because I’ve used it and that’s enough for me. The accuracy of this airgun is astonishing. It’s also very rugged and durable, and holds up to hard use under real world hunting conditions in a marine/tropical environment.
Cons
The safety arrangement is odd and takes some getting used to. Also, the bolt requires a great deal of effort. It is NOT like you’d expect coming from a bolt action rifle (firearm), it requires MUCH more effort to cycle. This makes rapid follow up shots difficult but with practice you can be back on target quickly. The pile of iguanas in the photo are testament to what an effective hunting tool this airgun is.

Mark from USAHello, I am new to this world of air pistols and I was thinking of buying a PCP rifle and I like this model, can it accept a muzzle break to make it look a bit long?
asked Cesar from USANot familiar with M-lok, does will this rifle/package come with this and what Bipod can be used? Also, adding a Bipod, will this get in the way a sling stud, thanks David M
asked David from USAM-lok is the standard made by Magpul for adding rails to real gun (usually AR15) handguards. For people that already have a bipod that goes on a pic rail, but doesn't want to buy another one, add a rail and put on your favorite bipod. I have an Atlas. They also sell m-lok quick detach points so you can match the QD point on the back of the stock.

Pros
Shoots tight groups from the bench
Cons
Safety is very difficult to change. Heavy gun, need support to hunt rodents. Biggest complaint is air leaks down overnight. Sent it back and they claim it held for a week. Pumped it to 4500 psi and overnight it is down to 3000 psi. Wished I bought something else.
