I bought this as a quality plinker and hunter. It shoots everything I've fed it well. I've been experimenting with synthetic pellets with dome shapes and they up the velocity and flatten the trajectory making this a more versatile rifle
Pros
Beautiful, accurate, quit rifle
Cons
The underside of the for-end needs to be more rounded for the fore-grip.
I am 64 years old and and when I retire, I hope to enjoy the Hunter Field Target class competitions, as I know of one club in New York State, in Dutchess County, that holds these gatherings. I purchased this rifle in .177 and since I'm 64, I decided to treat myself to a walnut model. Although the rifle does not have the extremely figured wood that one sees in adds run on the internet, it is a beautiful stock none the less and the metal is blued as deeply as can be done on any rifle, airgun or custom powder burner. The trigger is excellent and the gun shoots all .177 pellets that I have purchased accurately and that includes the inexpensive Walmart purchased,7.9 gr Crosman hollow points. I hope to compete using the Air Arms and JSB 8.4 grain domed pellets.
Pros
Accuracy, bluing, trigger, compactness, nice walnut stock
Cons
A little heavy and the bottom of the stock could have been made more round so it would make a more ergonomic fit for the hand's forend grip.
