AirForce has kicked it up a notch with their new baffle system, which makes the Condor SS quieter. Thanks to the new Spin-Loc tank and collar, you don't have to remove the gun's air reservoir to fill it. Of course, if you want to, you can remove it easily and attach another one. Carrying an extra filled tank when shooting in the field is a lot easier than carrying a scuba or carbon fiber tank for refills. The AirForce Condor delivers pellets at 950 fps, and it's recoilless! Accurate (1" at 50 yards) and powerful, this PCP offers extreme flexibility. It has an 18" Lothar Walther barrel (1:16 twist). You can also buy 12" and 24" barrels. Change-outs are easy and don't require any special tools, but the gun will be unsilenced. Built in the USA.

Features:

  • Matte Black Finish
  • Adjustable PCP Powerplant
  • Max Fill Pressure: 3000psi or 200bar
  • Single Shot; Bolt Action
  • 18 Inch Barrel Length
  • Two Stage Adjustable
  • 3 lbs Approximate Trigger Pull
  • No Sights
  • 11mm Dovetail Rail
  • Accessory Grooves Along Top & Bottom of Barrel and Rail
  • Accuracy: 2 inch or less groups at 50 yards
  • Air Tank Volume: 490cc
  • Easy To Read Tank Pressure Gauge on Tank Nozzle
  • Automatic Safety

Package Includes:
AirForce Condor SS in .25 Caliber and Spin-Loc Air Tank

NOTE: You'll need an adapter to fill the reservoir with air. The type of adapter depends on how you plan to fill your gun. A scuba tank will require a different adapter than a hand pump or carbon fiber tank. If you use a hand pump, the type of adapter you need depends on the brand of hand pump you use. There are lots of ways to configure this gun, including rail-mounted accessories (coin-slot screws for each changeout). You can choose the scope, laser, flashlight, night vision equipment, extra tanks, quick-detach fiber-optic sights and attachments for the type of refilling unit you plan to use. If you replace the barrel with a longer one, the gun will not be silenced.

The way to go
I got into the air gunning world last year. Recently Arizona has begun to allow us to hunt predators with air rifles 25 cal and over. We are allowed to hunt closer to homes using air rifles under 30 cal. I invested in a Marauder last year to see if air rifle hunting predators with the 25 cal was feasible. I had successes last season so this year I decided o jump in with both feet and upgrade to a higher level air rifle. I chose the Condor SS for a few reasons. First off was the barrel length. I tend to hunt in thick, brushy areas where long barrels get in the way. I also like the way that the gun is laid out in it's design. The rail at the top is closer to the barrel centerline which allows me to mount a scope lower onto the gun. I like the design of the air tank system where I can wither pump it up by hand or quickly remove it to charge it with a scuba tank. When I got the gun I was very impressed. The fit and finish are quite good. The balance is very nice with the weight being quite low. The backwards bolt is something to get used to, but is not something to worry about. I do miss having a magazine, but singe shots are pretty easy to work with. When I shot the gun I really was impressed. The sound is quite reduced from my previous rifle. The groups are very tight and I did not find a pellet out of the 6 that I tried that the Condor did not shoot well. Most of the pellets were going through the same hole at 40 yards, or were very close. Overall I am going to say that the Condor is a great choice for someone looking to upgrade and wanted a good value for their dollar.
ProsLight weight, suppressed, short barrel, good tank mounting, low scope mounting.
ConsSingle shot, reverse bolt operation.

Excellent Place to buy an Airgun
This is the first time I've submitted a review on an airgun. But I love this gun so much that for the first time I feel like writing about it. But first let me review the company AirGunDepot.com they are excellent, if you have landed on this site and are wanting to buy an air gun, their are no worries here. They are a great company to work with on the phone and they do their part and back up what they sell. Which is 5 stars from me. Next onto the gun itself... I researched this purchase for about 6 months so I know what this gun is and capable of. 1. The barrel Lothar Walther is a selling point for me. Excellent Accuracy. I cant think of another company's barrel I would want in my gun. Seriously cant. 2. The sound of the Gun... I filled it to 3,000 psi and did a test inside my house first just to see what it would be like and it is so quiet that I was giggling for like 5 minutes and couldn't believe how quite it is on power level 2. I've seen several tests on youtube and the decibel rating on one was 98.5 on power level 10 outdoors. Another video had it at 104 decibels but this was shot indoors where the sound can amplify and bounce off walls and floors. 98.5 outside puts this gun as like a 2 on a scale of 1 to 5. I have a Benjamin Disco with tko muzzle break and it is sooo much quieter then my old gun. It's not even close. 3. The gun itself is very very well made. The finish is first class and the baffles inside are very high quality a lot of technology and a lot of time was put into this design and you can tell the first time you pick it up to fire it. 4. Last thing I will say is this gun has power to spare and accuracy that you will never outgrow. Dollar for dollar its in its own class. I will be returning to this site in the future to buy accessories which this gun has more choices of then any other gun out there that I can think off. Cheers.
ProsQuietness Power Design Accuracy
ConsNone. Maybe it is too powerful. But even my son will tell me that belongs it the pro column.

Outstanding!
This is, by far, my favorite gun to shoot. It is not an exaggeration when they say this gun does not have recoil. You do not need hearing protection at all even if you're shooting onto a bullet trap in your basement. It is extremely accurate out of the box and it is a lot of fun to shoot!
ProsNo recoil. No hearing protection needed. Cheap to shoot. Very accurate.
ConsThe biggest drawback is cost. Other than that, the safety gets stuck on once in a while but cycling the bolt again fixes it. It's probably my fault for not pushing the bolt all the way forward in the first place.
Best UsesTarget shooting either indoor or outdoor, small game hunting, and pest control.

Condor SS
Well a very simple design, which is great. I still haven't shot it, I'm waiting on my scope mount. So the gun is great, but getting the accessories looks like it will take some time. No information on when the pickenney rail or bipod will be shipped.

Problem Gun
First of all I want to say that Airgun depot has been a good retail source for my 5 purchases. I recently bought a Condor SS, deboxed and aired it up and the safety failed after the second pellet. It locked in the safety position, which is good, but bad as it wont fire. I cycled it and oiled it as the rep from AGD said to. Nothing. I took it apart and there is a faulty mechanism. I called AGD and was told that since I took it apart that I had to send it back to the manufacturer. The manufacturer, Air Force Air guns, has been nice to deal with, but I had to send it back in at my expense and am told that it will be 4 weeks to turn it around. I still might have to pay to repair it, even though It was a manufacturer defect. The decision on whether I have to pay or not has not been decided. This is my SECOND airforce product and I have had the same problem with both. The first problem was a Talon. I have talked off record with two people at AGD and their sister store Pyramid air and both sources have eluded to the safety problem, not widespread but it is a problem. The end result is that its an inconvienence and troublesome, surely there are larger problems in the world. I dont believe that I will purchase another Airforce product, but the resolution to my problem at airforce will determine that. I would consider my review before you bought one of these guns. The safety tends to be problematic and hasn't been solved. I believe that airforce knows about it, but doesnt quite want to hit the panic button yet and do a wholesale recall or admit to the size and scope of the issue. The issue still remains that when I had a problem I had to push my self through the system to get any real attention, but that is business.
ProsLight weight, well balanced, appears to be a strong performer.
ConsOver all fit and finish are lacking. trigger and safety are not solid performing mechanisims and tend to be non consistent. I am used to better quality, overpriced for this entry price

Skeptical
I didn’t think that a pellet gun could ever be this accurate. I set my with Romeo Red Dot Sites rather than the scope that it came with. I sighted it in at 30 yards in just three solid quarter size groups. Amazeballs! At this distance the .22 pellet sets about 1” deep in to plywood. I’m still learning about this rifle, but so far..... I love it.
ProsBalance. Weight. Trigger pull. Silence. Accuracy. Power. Very well built. No Ca. regulations....yet
ConsA multi loader (clip) would be great, even if it was only a double tap capability. The safety sticks and is not representative of the rest of the craftsmanship. Hand pumping mechanism can be difficult to release from the fill nipple.

Love this gun
This gun is fun and relaxing to shoot. Being a single load breach it forces you to slow down and think about your next shot, unlike those other guns that have magazines where you blow thru maybe ten shots before you realize it. The power wheel lets you maximize your shot count for plinking or hunting and the male foster fitting on the side of the bottle makes refills quick and easy. The gun is shorter than my marauder's and lighter making it very easy to carry around in the woods for a stalk hunt.
ProsThis gun is light and easy to maneuver in the woods, has quite a lot of accessories if you would like to modify it.
ConsI really can't think of any bad points of this gun, maybe the time required to reload in a hunting situation.

Condor ss .25
After reading review after review for weeks before finally pulling the trigger on the Condor SS, I'm definitely glad with my decision on buying this rifle. I've done some target shooting with a few other PCP airguns that my friends own and was impressed with the power and accuracy. Then I ordered the Condor by Airforce and after taking it out to zero it in I was so impressed by the accuracy and power of this gun I actually got on my phone about 30 min after shooting and bought another one as a gift to one of my good friends that I go hunting with. He had been giving me a hard time for a few weeks while I was researching PCP guns saying why would anyone spend that much money on an airgun youcan buy a really nice firearm for that kinda money. I knew the moment he shot my Condor he would bug me to shoot it all the time. When his arrived we went out to our spot we go shooting and when we got there I pulled his out from behind the seat and handed it to him as a surprise. Immediately started giving me crap about spending that much money. Immediately after the first shot he said wow was I wrong! It's got more knock down power than my .22 LR! Then I showed him the cost of ammo compared to the .22 LR and he said might as well sell my .22. The Condor was so much more Accurate than any air rifle that I've shot and powerful. I'm from Montana and this is a perfect Varmit gun for Eastern Montana. So many different animals Prairie Dogs, to Coyotes and every size animal in between. Which having the adjustable regulator makes this the perfect gun! And even at full power shooting the 48 grain .25 cal Hunter Supply Pellets I'm getting 20 to 30 shots before it really starts falling off. Zeroing this gun in only took a few shots being so accurate. Very impressed with everything about this gun! Plan on getting the .45 Texan SS next! Great product AIrforce I will definitely be a customer for life!
ProsHonestly I could sit here for 30 min writing everything good about this gun, One of the best things is the adjustable regulator also that your able to swap barrels for a longer more power and different caliber!
ConsThe tank sits level with the gun and makes it hard to see thru the scope so need 1" tall rings to raise it up and still sits a little low but found that u can buy Mod kits with a spin lock angled tank adapter which brings the tank down a bit and much more comfortable.

Love the Condor SS in 25 cal
First off, I can not believe how quiet the rifle is. The hammer striking the valve is louder then the shot. The rifle is very light and short. It is a little futuristic looking but there is something about it that I love. Im more of a traditional wood guy normally. Definitely get a chronograph to set up the power wheel. If you can't, just set the power wheel at 5.5 or 6 and leave it there for the 25 and 34 grain pellets. It will shoot the 25g a little over 1000-1050 fps and the 34g at about 930fps. Setting the power wheel any higher won't give you much more power but will use a lot of air. I think the higher settings are for custom heavy pellets. So far the JSB pellets are the best. But the predator polymags shoot great too. So far Im very impressed. I just got the AV compressor from Airgun Depot and will be shooting it a lot more.
ProsQUIET! Light weight. Short. Powerful. Lots of options and info on the wed if you want to customize it or tune it. Oh and very accurate.
ConsThe safety is a little hard to disengage sometimes. Hopefully it will smooth out over time. The only issue i had so far when shooting was I couldn't fire the gun once loaded. I thought the gun was broken. But remember this. When you cock the gun you have to push it forward until it clicks. If you do this and it still won't shoot recock the gun making sure you push the bolt all the way forward. Then it will work. But once you have this happen and figure it out it won't ever happen again. I really love this gun.

Not perfect
The rifle has some problems, I have less than 100 pellets through it and the safety is problematic and doesn't always disengage or work properly. Also I am loosing air while shooting, not a complete dump of the tank but lots of extra air loss with each shot. The tank is holding air so I don't think it has a slow or fast leak. I tried to seat the seal by dry firing it several times but I am still experiencing this problem. I am very displeased to be having these problems with such a highly rated PCP rifle that I paid over 700 dollars for and I really don't want to have to send it back and wait for it to be fixed.
ProsWhen it works correctly it shoots great.
ConsProblems with the rifle so soon.

first time review
Great staff here. I have just recently received this in .22 and power setting at 5, one hole into and on top of another while zeroing the scope. The scop is 4x12-50IR Hawke had it on another pellet rifle very nice scope as well. The rifle itself seems to be very well made very quiet on the power setting of 5 at 2000 psi fill up. I am using JSB DIABLO EXACT Jumbo Heavy 18.13 gr. for now, I have several other pellet types (all lead) to try at a later date. The only thing is to make sure you get the highest set of scope rings you can find, I had the medium hieght orderd and it should be the taller version. Impressed with the feel and looks, sort of from star wars or Buck Rogers space age look but very accurate!
Prosvery quiet and accurate. Zeroed it in one day and the next day filled it back up and was on target, unlike the nitro piston break actions I have
ConsJust raise the top dove tail for the scope mounts to get the right site picture.

Walk Softly and Carry...
This gun is very powerful. This is a complaint, not praise. Charged only to 2K and set at minimal level 2, I was hoping to rough-in the scope at 20 ft by aiming at a dot drawn on a 2x4 leaning on my back fence against a hill. The 22 Cal 34 Grains went straight through the 2x4, splintered out the backside, and then clean through a 3/4" cedar fence. For adjustability, this the LOW END, which I think is a bit overkill for backyard varmints. Also of interest is that after clamping on the scope and without tweaking, the shots were all within inch of the dot. Not bad out of the box. I love how quiet it is. The “WHAP” of impact is perhaps 2-3X louder… than the “choof” of the shot itself. choof WHAP! <yes!> Even in hitting a few crows (after the 2x4, I gave it a try) the impact was louder than the trigger pull. Can’t imagine the need for any gun to be quieter than this. Perfect for my needs. Finally, this gun feels safe. With pump guns, I've always had a sense of danger with all the awkward cranking motion--as well as targets moving off during. But when you open an AirForce chamber there is no way the gun could shoot. Other guns do the same internally, but here you see how it works. The design is visceral in conveying safety. I just wish I could dial it back a bit more in power. But if you are going to err… <smiles>

Great all around gun!
This gun is great for anyone trying to take bigger games and even squirrels out to 75 yards. I wouldn't really recommend it just for shooting targets in the back yard. It is probably backyard friendly depending on your neighbors.
ProsGreat Power and accuracy out to 100 yards!
Cons-Only about 20 shots per fill. -Damages meat from hitting so hard ;)

Very Powerful Hunting Air Rifle !
Mine is in 22 caliber and I have toned it down to 1005fps with Kodiaks. I have it sighted in at 20 yds, which is on again at 65 yds ... I'm about 1/2 inch high between those ranges and about an 1' low at 70yds if I remember right. Gun will put one pellet on top of each other at 30+ yards and about the same at 50 ! The SS makes this gun quiet for hunting in close to urban environments. The "O" ring under the Top Hat trick is a real winner to and gives you more consistency and a quieter gun as you are not getting hammer bounce. Can't recommend it to highly.
ProsVery powerful, very accurate and made very well made. Very tune-able to get a good power bell curve using the Power Wheel and Top Hat adjustment.
ConsNot a real comfortable gun to shoot if you need a lot of scope height.

Excellent Air Gun
This is one awesome air gun. Once sighted in it's spot on. It has plenty of power for small game hunting. I get about 25 shots at high power before I need to pump it back up with my Hill hand pump and it's not a big deal to get it back up to 3000 psi. If you do any indoor shooting with this little beast make sure you have at least three pieces of 3/4 inch wood to absorb the pellets. My first shot blew right through two pieces. It will put a hurting on a cinder block wall so use caution indoors. I'm very pleased with my purchase of a made in the U.S.A. quality product.
ProsYou get many shots before needing to refill. Lifetime warranty and made in the U.S.A.
ConsIt's only a single shot

Great all around rifle.
I have used his rifle in .22 for squirrels in my back yard that keep building nests in my storage building. I have made head shots for the last 15 varmints at 15 to 17 yds. and expect nothing less from now on. I have used primarily H&N Hunter Extreme pellets, but today used Beeman Kodiak 21.14 gn( which by the way are the same as H&N Barracuda) pellets and did not have to make any adjustments in my scope. Dropped the varmints-one shot one kill. I have had squirrel in the freezer for the last year and trying different recipes. Pellets hit right in the cross hairs. At 45-55 ft lbs at the muzzle I don't suppose there would be any problems with dropping a rabbit or coon, not to mention the occasional feral cat or even coyote with this heavy hitting accurate rifle.
ProsShort length, light weight and versatile with quickly changed barrels for different calibers.
ConsNothing significant.

Awsome gun but expect the safety to be faulty
I sent the first gun back and got a new second gun that after 20 shots the safety locked up again. There is some advice on the talon ss forum on how to fix it by removing the automatic reset mechanism. After doing that the gun has been flawless for over 100 shots. Thanks to Airgun depot for their quick service and great return policy.
ProsVery accurate out to 100 yards!
ConsSafety design needs work, and may have to send in multiple guns or modify it, Save your boxes in case you need to return it.

Lives Up To Its Name
I bought the .25 caliber Condor with the expectation it could outperform the other PCP rifles out there- Hatsan, Benjamin, etc. I went to a friends house who lives out in the country and got it sighted in, then started testing its accuracy and power. I would get 10 or more full power shots starting at 3,000 psi going down to 2,500 psi. It took 60 strokes from the air pump to get it back to full pressure- not easy but air doesn't cost anything and a little sweat never hurt anyone. The accuracy is awesome with the Walther barrel. At 30 yards I could make groups that a dime could cover and very often my friend would tell me "I think it went through the same hole-- looks slightly bigger." I used Crow Magnum pellets and will probably stick with these because I know what kind of damage they can do. It's always a good idea to test accuracy with the pellets you actually use in the field. Next came the power test. I started with a phone book that was about two inches thick. It went through it on 5 full power shots. I pumped up the rifle then I tried my friend's 55 gallon galvanized steel barrel he used for burning waste (with his permission of course) and the bullet went in one side and came out the other making a fairly large entry hole and an even larger hole on the other side of the barrel. My friend remarked that his Ruger .22 LR pistol could only go through one wall of the barrel while making a dent on the other. Not bad. The rifle handles well and shoots exceptionally well. It's much louder than an unsuppressed .22 rimfire rifle . . . had to wear ear protection when testing. In all, the Condor is fun to shoot but you have to respect its power. It can do anything a .22 rimfire will do and with the cost and availability of .22 ammo these days that puts me in the driver's seat. Speaking of .22 caliber ammo the Condor has the flexibility to change barrels from .20 to .22 to .25. I plan on getting the .22 barrel soon.
ProsExceptional power and accuracy.
ConsSome sweat equity involved using the pump which is okay for me but maybe not to others.

Condor SS
As this rifle comes "out of the box" it is a great rifle and worth every penny. That being said, I am having so much fun modifying it that it's crazy. Out of the box I was getting 60 FPE with 31.2 grain pellets. With a few easy mods I am getting 112 FPE with my own 55 grain slug. When I got it, It was about as loud as a brad nailer. With the addition of a $0.39 o-ring and a small adjustment to the top hat, the impact of the pellet makes more noise than my rifle. You ask about accuracy? at 40 yards I can hit anything that is the diameter of my pellet 9 times out of 10. At 75 yards I can hit a nickle more often than not. The only reason that I didn't give it 5 stars is that I thought I had a bad scope because I couldn't get a 1" group at 25 yards at first. Turned out that every one of my barrel screws was loose. I put thread locker on them and the problem went away. Took a grouse with a 60 yard head shot, first shot, yesterday.
ProsPowerful, Accurate, and easy to modify.
ConsCheck every screw and apply thread locker.

Condor SS got a dud
I bought this gun and it gave me nothing but trouble. I couldn't get a consistent shot string and on top of that the top hat kept slipping so it was 999fps then it slips and is 230fps so I am sending it back and going to get a .22 . I let you know if that gun is any better.
ProsGreat looking and light.
ConsEverything but looks and weight.

Finally able to shoot my new Condor SS
After having a few issues with my order that Airgun Depot handled well, I was finally able to pump up my rifle and fire it,. First off, It took me about 4 hours and over 700 strokes to pump up the rifle the first time. I have had a heart procedure and wasn't able to stay on the pump for long. That in and of itself will work out for Airgun Depot because I will buy a scuba tank adapter from them. I have two tanks but I didn't realize what a chore it was going to be to charge the gun manually. After shooting the gun down to about 2100 pounds, it only takes about 150 to 200 strokes to fully recharge but I don't want to do that any more. Now to that actual shooting. I started at 20 yards to get on paper, I shot a three shot group, clamped the rifle in a gun vise and moved the scope to center in the group. I fired three more shots to verify the sighting and it was dead on but here I have to explain & group. I use the term loosely. At 20 yards, my group was about 2 inches. I was shooting the Benjamin 14.3 grn cylindrical pellet and apparently the rifle does not like them. I tried the H&N 11.42 grn Field Target Trophy and the 13.58 grn Baracuda pellets and got single hole 5 shot groups. I'm pretty happy with that. I gave it up for the evening, it was getting dark but the next sighting will be at 50 yards. That's as far as I will need to shoot this rifle considering the plans I have for it. Only thing is I have a 500 count tin of Benjamin pellets with about 20 pellets gone that I cannot use. So over all how do I like the rifle? Well I gave it 5 stars and my son is going to buy one next week. That should say something.
ProsLooks wicked cool, power, accuracy.
ConsThe loud "tink" when fired. Hate to mod a new rifle but I've read about the "O" ring mod a lot. Might do it and might not. We'll see. If you can, get a scuba adapter or an electric pump unless you are in good shape. Maybe I should just keep pumping. It's good exercise.
