The AirForce TalonP PCP pistol is heavier than most air pistols and is exceptionally reliable and accurate. The Talon P is unique in the way most pistols are held. A comfortable hold is with one hand on the pistol grip and the other holding the top of the scope. If you assume a sitting position, you can hold the grip with one hand and rest the gun's forearm on your off hand's forearm. These two positions will draw the pistol much closer to your eye, and you can mount a rifle scope on the TalonP air pistol. A pistol scope could also be mounted, but there are more choices among rifle scopes. The AirForce TalonP air pistol is one of the most powerful air pistols made today. Delivering over 50 ft-lbs of energy in .25 caliber, the TalonP is the ultimate compact hunting weapon and is easily carried in the field. Take small and medium quarry with this airgun at distances you'd never normally use with any other air pistol. However, power is nothing without accuracy, and the AirForce Lothar Walther barrels are known for being deadly accurate. The TalonP is equipped with the same 12" Lothar Walther barrel available for their hunting rifles, so you can expect to get the same small groups. This pistol cannot be fitted with other AirForce barrels, as the valve has been tuned especially for .25 caliber. The power wheel lets you adjust your velocity for whatever distance you shoot and for the type of critter you want to hunt. With 43.2-grain pellets, you can expect a max velocity of 760 fps. With a 25-grain pellet, you can expect a max velocity of 850 fps.

The TalonP now comes with the new Spin-Loc air tank, making refilling your tank much easier since you won't have to remove the tank from your gun. Please note that the spin-loc tank can Only be Used With Compressed Air or Dry Nitrogen Gas.

This was one of my first PCP guns and it is a 'must have'. It will easily penetrate a 2x4 with substantial power remaining. Accuracy is real good. Like my caption says - it is a "go-to" gun.
ProsPowerful, i can send a variety of slugs through this gun and it loves 48-49 grain.
ConsIf this could have been a repeater i would not ever need to buy other airguns because this would do it all.

This is my first Air Force pcp product and I like it. This gun is out of stock and back ordered most of the time. The gun is much smaller then I thought, a very pleasant surprise. The gun shoots accurately with lots of power for you folks that like to hunt.
Prossmall and sexy
Best UsesThis is a single shot only, so still buy lots of pellets it is hard to stop shooting it.

This air pistol is an incredible piece of engineering. It has a lot of power at full power. Seriously, a lot. The description of this gun says loudness level 5-Loud, and it is not wrong. I think the TalonP could go further than 50 yards in the right conditions.
Pros- Superion engineering and design - The ability to lower the power level made the gun really quiet (to me) - So much fun
Cons- I cannot stress this enough, at full power the TalonP sounds like a .22 rifle - I put a large scope on mine and it made it a little unbalanced, that's my bad

I love this gun.

I love this gun. It is awesome right out of the box, but I added a HAWKE Sidewinder, a 24†barrel, a DonnyFL Sumo mod, a TalonTunes breech slide, trigger spring, and condor tank with butt stock. I know, it’s pretty much a short framed Condor now but it was fun to mod this gun.

TalonP .25

To start with AGD great service as always. As for the talonp pistol just what I was looking for. A pistol in .25 that packs a punch. Build quality is very nice. You just want to handle it when you see it. It has very good accuracy, and hits hard. It is not quiet, but with moderator it is very quiet. Can only hear pellet hit target. The new safety is great, and the simplicity of the gun makes for a very user friendly gun. I highly recommend this gun to anyone looking for a compact powerhouse. The airforce attachments such as the shoulder stock attachment is almost a must, but way overpriced for what you get. All airforce attachments are overpriced in my opinion, and not needed. There are alternatives thankfully.
ProsVery accurate gun Well made Very powerful for a pistol
ConsAttachments are way overpriced Single shot
Best UsesTarget Practice Small game hunting for sure

Talon-P 25 caliber

Purchased mine 6 years ago so it has the older safety that allows the air gunner to decock it without having to fire it. It is still going strong no drama so far ( USA ) made baby! I have taken many of varmint with this little power house . Mine is set up with a Maddog stock ( highly recommend ) , a UTG 3x12x44mm scope and a BKL one piece mount , also a talontunes moderator to quiet the bark and a talon shoulder stock so its more like a carbine.Mounted a bipod on mine for longer shots. Fits nicely into my backpack ( unscrew the air tank ,remove the moderator )in less than five minutes reassemble and you're ready to go.Single shot so no magazines to fumble with, easy to load. It loves i mean loves the JSB 25.39 grain pellets so i never have tried anything else as of yet.
ProsPower, compact size , light weight , accurate, easy to accessorize , easy to switch calibers, can easily be filled with hand pump. Mine doesn't have spin-loc so it takes no tools to disassemble.
ConsVery loud even with the moderator , not back yard friendly ( depending on you're neighbors ? ) Louder than a Ruger 10/22 long rifle.
Best UsesGreat for hunting anything it hits stays down , one shot kill.

Turkey slayer. I have had my TalonP for a little over 2 years and I absolutely love it. Its a rock solid platform. Deadly accurate and packs a punch. Head shots on Turkeys at 50 yds all day. I recommend a maddog stock and R&L shroud. You will also need the AirForce tri-rail to get a good cheek weld. I love my TalonP so much, I pre-ordered a Texan SS in .357 that I can't wait to get my hands on.
ProsVersatile. Light weight. Accurate.

This gun is a very loud hard hitting and very accurate out the box deffinately not back yard friendly I would have gave it a five but this is a beast pretty much sounds like a 22cal.and is very difficult to find a suppressor for it for the price is not bad but your gonna spend over 200 dls for a suppressor ...nice gun though good and compact...
ProsGood gun, very accurate ,and very light..
ConsNo iron sights, very loud, needs a suppressor and a scope..

Beyond All Expectations

Beyond the realm of any air pistol on the market. Truly idiot proof design and flawless function matches perfect with tack driving accuracy past the 100yard mark. Add the fact that mine is averaging 54.7ft/lbs of energy with 31grain pellets and you have the perfect compact hunting weapon. Can't recommend this weapon enough to do it justice. If you want compact styling with rifle accuracy and power buy this weapon.
ProsSimple to load, supreme accuracy, well built and finished, aluminum frame for simple cleaning and reduced weight, power equal to or above any of my pcp rifles.
ConsLoud, loud, loud, not backyard friendly. Auto safety takes a while to get used to.

This gun is very powerful, I've already taken out a few animals and with the exception of a bad shot placement due to the shooter, (nothing a quick follow up shot didn't resolve) all dropped like a rock. I've added a scope (UTC 3-9x50) that has made it a pleasure to shoot. The small air tank it comes with is OK for a compact package, but lacks the number of shots other guns of this type can take. My suggestion is find the sweet spot on the power dial and you will get more shots, I purchased a larger condor tank and works great to resolve the capacity issue.
ProsPower Flexible, many options you can add on. Very well made Looks very intimidating.
ConsAir tank very small, can be a pro. No sights out of the box, need to buy them. Or scope. Needs to purchase accessories to fill air tank.

Awesome airgun!
January 18, 2013
The framework of air force is very useful and simple. The TalonP is well build it. Very nice gun. It is smaller in comparison with the talon or condor, but is powerful! Is loud, not so loud as talon or condor, but definitively someone in the neighborhood might be disturbed.
ProsGood for small game hunting at 50 yds. So far, I have not tested with bigger preys. It is light and well build.
ConsThe only thing is that Air force must include the fill adapter with the pistol. It doesn´t matter if the price increases. You can save time if this item is include it with the airgun.

a remake of a legend

All this basically is, is a talon with a 12" .25 cal barrel and a smaller high flow tank.
ProsVersatility and adaptability
ConsNot very original idea. Simply a reworked tallon anyone with a few hex wrenches can make from their talon.
