The Benjamin Summit NP2 Air Rifle is everything you love about the Trail NP2, but with a more straight forward Monte Carlo stock rather than the larger thumbhole stock. Great for those of us with larger hands. Besides that it really is the same as the Trail NP2; same great sound supression, same great effiecient and more powerful gas piston, same great clean breaking trigger, and best of all extreemly accurate. Everything you could ever want from a break barrel is here. All at a great price.

Airgun Depot took this already excellent gun and finished it with a scope it deserves. The standard 4x32 left us wanting since you can push this out far enough to need a better scope. So included in this premium scope combo is the a clear 4-16x40 scope. Now grab some target to help you sight this in and get shooting!

Benjamin Summit NP2 Air Rifle Features
  • Nitro Piston 2 (gas piston)
  • 15% faster than standard gas pistons
  • Less cocking force and reduced vibration with patent pending technology
  • Dual stage- clean break trigger
  • Quiet (shrouded barrel with baffles)
  • Sling Mounts included (rear post/front loop)
  • Picatinny mounting rail
  • Includes upgraded 4-16x40 Center Point scope
  • Also includes Benjamin Sling and standard 4x32mm scope

Precision at 35yrds
After one year and 1000 rounds I can review this rifle. It was inaccurate for the first 750 rounds. After around 800 it hits exactly where I want at 40 yards. After 1000 pellets down range it doesn't fire strays. I use it for mongoose around my chicken coup. I filled the stock with silicon to quiet the hollowness. I zero the scope every other week. mine fades off to the right a little. I really like the power of the .22 and its report is as audible as a solid sneeze. minus the target thump. All in all. The break in period was very frustrating. But i cant imagine a better air rifle in the break barrel class. Scope is more than sufficient. Ive only shot H&N field target trophy 5.54mm 14.66gr.
ProsAbsolute precision at 40 yards. Power. Excellent report.
ConsLong break in period.

Well built
This gun is nicely made. Construction solid and good finish. Very accurate came with the larger scope. Break barrel loosens up after 50 or so shots
ProsAccurate
ConsWeight may not be good unless you are used to a heavier riffle

Almost perfect.
I love all of this gun up to the butt end I swear if two people didn't design the stock. Quiet, powerful, excellent grip, extremely accurate, not very pellet picky. I removed the butt pad and found two plastic posts holding the pad in place, c'mon people spend another 50 cents. Figuring i'd brake it if I removed it again, I spray foamed the inside with insulation.
ProsEverything in front of the wrist
ConsThe butt stock is junk at this price point.

Nice gun
Nice gun for the money. Quiets down after 100 rounds. Putting quarter size 6 shot groups at 27 yds with H&N sport pellets (.22)

Love It
This air rifle is accurate extremely quiet, makes it nice when target plinking. It's a little on the hefty side but I don't mind that because it's solid. It has an all steel barrel which is a nice feature. Trigger is nice also haven't had to adjust it was good for me at factory setting.

Excellent rifle/scope combo
Mounted scope in 15 minutes with no special tools. A bit loud at first but it quieted after 10 shots. Much more quiet than my Gamo Whisper Fusion Mach 1. Took me about 2 hours to sight scope. Hitting 2 inch groups at 25 yards after 2 sessions. After 100 shots it settled in and I am thrilled with it. I have shot Crossman Premier Hollow Point, Crossman Premier Super Match, RWS Meisterkrugeln Professional Line and RWS Superdome pellets. For some reason it seems to shoot more accurately with the Superdomes.
ProsThe rifle is well made and looks good too. Very quiet for a powerful rifle. Trigger adjusts nicely and easily.
ConsThe stock could use a better cheek piece and the butt could be better padded. The scope does distort the image on the edges

Nice Combo - Needs some customization
AirgunDepot is great about getting orders out fast and this combo is nice. The scope replacement is much better than the stock one but; the new scope and mounts do not align vertically with the bore. Maximum elevation adjustment of the scope still leaves the impact point about 3 inches low at 15 yds. I thought my bore scope was incorrect but when I test fired the gun, it turned out it wasn't. So the only way to solve this with the single piece mounting rail is to shim the rear scope mount. This will require a pretty decent correction and I am concerned that too much may damage the scope tube. I need to get the impact zero point on when the scope elevation adjust is near minimum if I have any hope of being able to zero the scope at a decent range. The scope has a BDC reticle so I'll try and zero it at 20 yds and use the drop points up to maximum. Unfortunately, the BDC ranges will have to be done via trial and error as I know of no ballistics tables for an air gun pellet. I'd like the scope maximum range point to be at least 75 yds (100yds would be ideal). If any one has experience on the recommended zero point to get this range please let me know.
ProsNicely built rifle and great scope upgrade
ConsCan't zero combo without customization.

Power for days
From the first shot it was consistent and powerful. I love this rifle, it is quite enough to engage multiple targets or when rare need arises take a second shot. I have nothing but good things to say about this rifle.
ProsPowerful, acute, quite.
ConsNothing
