I do like this as a training device for beginners and something for me to practice with indoors for the winter. I cleaned the barrel by inserting a cotton swab into the end of the barrel, pushed it in to the beginning of the barrel, front of the magazine, but not through it or it will not index for the shot. After ~ 4 swabs they came out clean. Grouping was much better.
Pros
Accurate enough, realistic looking, easy to load and more shots per cylinder than I expected.
Cons
Expensive, needed to clean barrel to get better grouping , double action is useless; need to be able to adjust trigger, mags still too small for my hands, need a .22 version. A fully adjustable match rear sight would be nice.
That said, I agree with others who say it's too heavy. I have a Taurus 92 that's a dead ringer for this pistol. I put up some targets backed by some old photo magazines, and the gun is both accurate and quiet. It's a good idea to put a little lubrication on the tip of the air cartridge. You can use this pistol to kill small birds, mice and rats, but don't shoot it at anything larger as it would be inhumane. I wish I could use mine more often, but the state I'm in is horribly anti-gun and kids who point their fingers like a gun in school can get life in prison and, in severe cases, the death penalty. But, seriously, this is an excellent pistol to start kids out on and teach gun safety. Finally, this is obvious, but this gun should be treated as an actual firearm, especially around cops. I love mine and would also like the all-blue model.
If you like it, I also recommend the Taurus stainless steel 9mm. It's a fine companion piece to this air pistol!
Pros
Solid, well designed, meticulously constructed, accurate and beautiful.
Cons
Heavier than a real 9mm Beretta. The weight adds to holding the gun accurately, but can otherwise be distracting.
The quality of this gun is as good as the real thing. The accuracy is as good as the 92F 9mm. With ammunition as difficult as it is currently to buy and the increase in price caused me to go with air power rather than powder power. I continue to keep my shooting skills up without the expense. This is a real gun in feel and shooting experience. With a little Dupont Silicone/Teflon spray, the trigger is as good as it gets, both single and double action. Is there anything I don't like about the pistol ? NONE ! If you spend the little extra for this gun, you will not be let down. I have been shooting competition 45 pistol for over 30 years, logging more than 70,000 rounds, so my experience with high quality "race guns" is a part of my life.
Pros
Quality all metal gun, extremely accurate with high quality wad cutters, trigger pull is sweet, no creep in single action and predictable in double. Feels like the real thing.
Cons
Absolutely none.
Fires extremely well and accurately. Used many different Pellets with no issues. Weight and feel are very much like my 92A1.
Pros
Just about everything!
Cons
As there is no slide cocking the hammer so each shot requires the hammer to be manually cocked or simply fire the gun pulling the hammer with each shot. I think I would prefer the lighter trigger pull without having to manually cock the hammer???
So far I have really been really enjoying this gun. Airgun depot dispatched it too me in a matter of a couple of days and really enjoy there fast shipping and service. The fit and finish on this is very close to real steel. Heavy solid construction. These kinds of air pistols from Umerex and the likes are very high quality. I haven't found a pellet yet that is real accurate in this pistol. Initially, I was disappointed with accuracy. Free hand at 30' would give 3" groupings. I noticed it would tightened up as the Co2 depleted, using only single action. I changed to double action and the lower hammer throw when the Co2 is full improved the accuracy greatly. I have been using Diablo basics and Crosman premier wadcutters. I think changing to a domed pellet will help with the transition from clip to barrel and give better accuracy. In reality, it's barely better in the accuracy then my $60 Daisy 008. My only real disappointment is the trigger mechanism makes a creeking noise on double action. It's well oiled and I think it is an internal spring making the noise. It's kinda picky but it does detract from the experience of shooting a quality gun. I don't think the wood grip option is worth the extra money as the plastic grips are very nice. In the end, if you want a quality replica gun, it doesn't get better than this.
Pros
Awesome quality! Very realistic replica.
Cons
Expected better accuracy out of the box. Minor issue of having a "Creeky" noise from trigger mechanism under double action use.
I would have preferred this air pistol be all hard chrome plated and not have the black plastic "slide release" switch, which opens the action to receive the round magazines containing the pellets. The black hammer is fine, but the two-tone design is the only drawback in looks. The pistol works flawlessly and looks deceptively real. It would not be great to have your kids waving something like this around (though it would be a great "show and tell" item at your kids' elementary school...NOT)!!
It's amazing that in the United Kingdom, where they took everyone's guns and melted them down into manhole covers, people buy deactivated REAL guns for as much as we pay for working guns here. If you do a Bing search, you can see how much they go for. I don't know if the Brits can have these pellet Berettas, but it would be a shame if they couldn't. This gun is beautiful and is about as heavy as a loaded Beretta 9mm. It's also great for teaching your kids gun safety and how to shoot. While I'm not for bluffing dangerous criminals, I imagine this would scare away most opportunistic rift raft if it's all you had.
All in all, buying one of these would be a fine investment. Keep the internal rubber parts lubed to ensure years of reliable use. The Beretta comes in a very nice gun box and has shot everything I've put into it. This would make a wonderful gift, even for girls 12 years or older. It also would be a well received gift for one's father or grandfather! Cheap to shoot, too. You can't lose by buying it here. I didn't know whether to get the brushed chrome or the blued model, but settled on the chromed version because my Taurus PT-92 stainless is a near carbon copy. I also recommend the Taurus over the stainless Beretta because it's cheaper, just as reliable and has a cock and lock feature that the Beretta lacks.
This air pistol carries the Beretta name and its quality is top notch. My first gun was a cheap RG .22lr nickel plated cowboy gun. There were plenty of places to shoot at that time and place, and now finding a place to shoot outdoors is a chore for many. Having this air pistol not only is fun, it doesn't require frequent cleaning, ear protection, and in many places can be shot in one's back yard. I wouldn't use it for taking small animals as the pellet is a bit too small and causing undue suffering is something to be avoided at all costs. I've used larger pellet rifles for groundhogs, but I wouldn't if I had to do it over again.
Pros
Exceedingly well made
Reliable
Easy to maintain
Accurate
Fun to shoot
Cheap to shoot
Cons
Two-tone look is distracting
This pistol is a first rate pellet pistol that packs more of a punch than most people would expect. The gun comes with two revolver canisters, each holding eight rounds. It also comes with a warning NOT to use pointed .177 pellets; unfortunate, because those are the pellets I ordered. Fortunately, they work flawlessly. Unless they poke out of the individual chambers, they should do okay. The gun is heavy...a bit too heavy for my taste. It's about as heavy as a loaded 9mm while a few ounces lighter would have worked much better. The gun works as advertised. The warning on the side of the gun says it's not a toy. Well, the hell it isn't...it's fun to shoot and is a toy. It's just that it should be treated as though it was not a toy. You get about 50 rounds per canister with a few left over. In the cold it's somewhat less and on a hot day you may squeeze 70 rounds out of it.
It rips magazines to shreds and is very accurate. I wish some of the plastic parts had been metal, especially the main opening switch, but it seems to work fine as is.
Highly recommended.

simply amazing!!!

asked X William RothrockIs this gun a blowback?
asked CollinNo, and thank goodness. Energy used to push the slide back is better served pushing the pellet out the front. Designing the gun to blow back also adds unnecessary expense and more moving parts. This is a quality, hunting grade pellet pistol. It's only fault is that it's too damn heavy. It's heavier than a loaded Beretta or Taurus 92.

Just got this out of the box and shot about 100 rounds through it. Cant attest to durability yet but feels very solid and well built. Trigger is better than expected, especially single action. Also seems to be getting better as I shoot it. Accuracy very good and hope to dial it in even more. Sight could be better and more adjustable but really no complaints for this price. So far very happy with it and would recommend it to anyone looking for an inexpensive way to keep your pistol skills up.
Pros
Real gun feel Accurate. 15yds 1 1/2 inch group. 20yds 2 1/2 inch group (Rested) 60 shots per CO2 cylinder Good single action trigger. OK double action trigger
Cons
Could use better sight. Would like to adjust elevation too.
