Looks and feels like an M4 firearm. Shoots either BBs or pellets, so you can use whatever ammo you've got on hand. Since it's a multi-pump, you can pump it up to 10 times to get higher velocities or less if you'd like to do some easy all-day shooting. When you shoot steel BBs, do not shoot at hard objects or water. The BBs will ricochet! No matter what ammo you're using, remember to wear safety glasses. Everyone in the vicinity of the range should wear safety glasses, even if they're not shooting. Features:
  • Pump Action, No Battery or Co2 Required
  • Only 1-10 pumps (never exceed 10 pumps)
  • Bolt-action
  • Dual Ammunition
  • 350 Round BB Reservoir
  • Aperture Rear Sight Adjustable For Windage
  • Post Front Sight Adjustable For Elevation
  • Both Sights Are Removable
  • Weaver/Picatinny optics rails above the receiver, below the front sight fitting and on the underside of the forearm
  • Adjustable Scoping Stock (30.5" to 33.75")
  • Sling loops
  • Manual safety
  • Includes: Rifle, Pellet and BB Magazine, and Sight Adjustment Tool

Pros
The way to load the gun is strange but the pumping is easy enough.

Cons
The gun is not really accurate and doesn't kill muskrats which I bought it for.

If you mount a red dot, you’ll have to get a riser for a UTG or remove the A-frame front sight post.

Pros
Price, reported velocity, adjustable stock, removable carrying handle assembly, 3 x pellet mags

Cons
Came with no mag or sight adjustment tool.

Fun pellet gun to shoot

Replaced my Pumpmaster with this rifle kit. Rifled barrel is much more accurate than the smooth bored Pumpmaster. Does it have a lot of plastic? Yes. My opinion, this is durable material, thick and textured. Example, I first thought the entire underside of the pump handle was a picatinny rail. Only front most portion is. I bought a separate flat bottomed rail, took down the raised ridges on bottom pump piece with a dremel tool, drilled through the bottom, added the rail with two 8-32 tapered head screws and locknuts, which are a perfect fit along the inside groove. No need for a wrench, nuts won’t turn inside groove. Tightened down rail securely. No cracking, chipping at all of plastic. This was all for adding a hand brake, which also turned out to be the perfect pump aid. Liked the authentic look of gun with the top hand rail. Sights take getting used to. Rear/handle sight is adjustable for both elevation and windage. My front sight was not adjustable for elevation, it was fixed and the kit didn’t come with any tool. Call to Crosman’s customer service went smoothly (they second to none), immediately an adjustable front sight and tool were in the mail. If your hands are big enough you can improve the velocity of this gun. There is no o ring or seal of any kind for the bolt probe so there’s a lot of air wasted on blowback. If you can keep your pointer finger on trigger and get your thumb up to the back of the bolt handle and keep it pushed forward while shooting I was getting 80 fps more than without pushing the bolt forward. Fun gun and you won’t find a better price than Airgun Depots.

Pros
Price, quality for price, accuracy

Cons
Upwards of 10 pumps it can get difficult

I have had this for a couple months now and don't really use it. I can't hit anything with it. This is due to the fact that I can not adjust the sight since it didn't come with the sight adjustment tool. There are also very sharp edges and the handle for the pump. Been a little disappointed.

Pros
Cheap.

Cons
Cheap.

I bought the rifle for the appearance then I tricked it out Bi-Pod, Scope w/mount, flash light I have it stored in a tactical carry bag. The adjustable butt stock is great. From a distance you can’t tell if it’s authentic AR and it shoots well 20 to 30 yard accuracy is great. You can’t go wrong buying a Crosman Rifle or Pistol. Another fantastic buy is the 2100 edition, you can’t find a bad thing to say about that rifle either 15 or 20 years back they had a Anniversary edition of the 2100 series that came with a wood stock. Wish they would bring that back. Thanks Crosman, Sal

I originally purchased this item for target practice. 5 pumps will put a BB thru a thin sheet of metal. I found out later that it is also good for pest control.

can this gun shoot a Predator Polymag, .35 Cal, 81.01 Grains

asked Brandon from USA

No, this gun only shoots .177 pellets and .177 bbs.

Matthew from USA

Where can I get a carry handle and replacement parts if I ever needed them

asked Jeff from Canada

All parts would come from Crosman.

Mark from USA

dose this require PAL

asked cory from Canada

They do sell a Canadian version in Canada, shoots around 450 FPS

Jeff from Canada

We can not ship the Crosman M4-177 to Canada, So yes you would need a PAL and purchase it thru a Canadian dealer.

Mark from USA

hello, do you have to pump for every shot for this item (Crosman M4-177 Tactical Pump) ?

asked binoe from Canada

Yes. Each shot will take multiple pumps.

Mark from USA

What accessories are recommended for this?

asked Anonymous

I found that if you mount a ; Lazer, flashlight, Lazer/flashlight combo on either the rail under the front site or the forearm pump handle. When you extend the forearm pump handle fully it hits one or the other rail. All said, any attachments will not work on this gun.

Armon from USA

This gun can have only really a scope, so any scope would be good.

Matthew from USA

is it heavy and does it have any metal

asked drizz

Its mainly plastic.

Matthew from USA

Does this pack enough stopping power for an adult racoon? Got a problem brewing in my yard and need a quiet airgun to shoot trapped (paw cuff) coons when they are discovered without getting the neighbors upset with me. I would be shooting subsonic 177 pellets.

asked Ted from USA

I would say the right pellet and maybe a couple of shots would take one down.

Matthew from USA

Which red dot site fits this one?

asked Teresa

Is it metal?

asked John Petro

It has some metal but mainly made of plastic.

Matthew from USA

What is the Age Requirement on this gun?

asked Wesley

What ever your kid, or parents say.

Matthew from USA

How to purchase extra magazine for m4-177? I want 5 extra magazines with my order.please let me know so i could press my order.thank you

asked Sam

The gun only comes with one mag and it is used for storing bb and pellets and is not used to fire the actual gun.

Matthew from USA

Hi im interested to your m4-177..where can i get that..?do you have free delever in the philippines

asked Jovencio mayor II

Can you ship to Malaysia?

asked Bryen Mal

I am from India. I want to buy such one. Is it possible for you to ship it to me if I make full payment in advance?

asked Mayur

What material is the gun made from?

asked Brandon from USA

Mainly plastic but some metals

Matthew from USA

at which range it shoots in meters?

asked vaibhav

Is this gun ok for just a good sting, and not to mortally hurt any animals

asked James T Pardo

hello, The M4-177 is it shipped with the adjustable carrying handle as M4-177KT Site Crosman? Thank you for your answer. Coridlament. Franck

asked franck from USA

I found a carry handle on aliexpress. Inexpensive, but takes forever to ship. Look for an AR handle. Hope this helps.

Perry from USA

I would have to answer no. The M4-177 kit I purchased last year did include a carrying handle with a peep sight. Current configurations offered by Airgun Depot do not and I could not find a carrying handle accessory at the depot or the Crosman website.

Ralph

Does this one come with carrier handle?

asked Jesse

i come from Uganda how much is getting this to me and how can it get here without being misunderstood for a weapon

asked Douglas

Douglas, Please contact our International Shipping Department at [email protected]. They can answer any questions you might have. Sincerely, The Airgun Depot Customer Care Team

Scott from USA

is it a good airgun for bird hunting please advise me

asked nadeem

Not really. The fps is a little low and because it is a pump it would be difficult to get off shots quickly.

Alan from USA

where can I get a extra magazine an an extra pellet holder

asked marty robbins

Does the gun feel cheap?

asked Weldon

So you have to pump after each shot using pellet. Do you still need to pump after each shot when using BB's?

asked Abdul

Is there a threaded barrel to attach supressors or barrel extensions?

asked andy

How is a pump-type gun operated? Also, are ten pumps required to shoot once?

asked Toshitake Okamoto

Does this rifle compare to the 760?

asked scotty

This rifle is a "supercharged 760". I cut my teeth on a 760 over 25 years ago and this is a 760 with bells, whistles, and great styling. It does not function exactly like the AR that it mimics, but close enough. My 10 year old will never forget it as I have not my original 760. The adj. sights could be beefier. I would pay more for more substantial sights. They are plastic and will not take a hard drop most likely.

Micah Whitley

Where do your buy the extra clips? They are out of stock on crosman.com

asked Emile from USA

You could always check out google for online stores or your nearest fire arms dealers if crossman doesn't restock soon

Shayen from USA

At wallmart or at any sporting goods store.

Nicole from USA

Hi, i would like to purchuse this Crosman /M4-177 multi-pump air rafle kit, black and I would like to know if you could ship it to the state of New Jersey

asked angel rosado

Sorry we are unable to ship to NJ. You can use an alternate shipping address though.

Scott from USA

You can send this in Italy? be legal?

asked SIMONE

Try checking out at the sight and if there is a restriction you will get a warning before you purchase the product. There are a lot of different regulations for all different countries and they are always changing, so we have set up an automatic warring if there is a product, based on your location, that is forbidden.

Scott from USA

Does this come with a special clip to hold pellets?

asked santiago alvarez

Yes it comes with the gun.

Nicole from USA

Does this gun take co2 and is it hard to pump the gun?

asked austin

This gun does not use CO2. As far as how hard it is to pump, it gets more difficult as you put more pump it up more times, but you should have no problem getting enough pumps in for good shots.

Scott from USA

I need something to kill squirrels in the city'. Will this do the job?

asked LLOYD R. GUNN, JR.

This should do fine.

Steve from USA

The pump handle seems a bit flimsy, so does it pump nicely or does it feel like you're going to break it. I pump fast and hard so I don't want it to fold on me or something. I assume pumping is loud too? I know my old 760 was as the handle hit the gun but I was able to dampen that with leather at the contact point. Should I expect similar here or have they improved the design, or? Double checking with you, the barrel is rifled correct? It says rifled but it also says it's a 760 underneath which is not rifled...
