Wow,what a rifle.very well made, shoulders well, great sidelever action and so far very accurate with 44.75 gr polymags ( have to trim the tips to fit the magazine )

Well made,accurate,looks great

Pressure gauge in a extremely poor spot, grip isnt big enough for big hands and magazines are cheap plastic and break easy at $50 a piece %$#@&.

Great gun I love it! Plenty of power for larger game. Looks great and shoots great. Leaves a hole in plywood I can fit a finger in.

Power, accuracy, looks awesome, feels great shouldered.

Cocking leaver in back of gun, pressure gauge is in a horrible place, adjustable trigger would be nice, a little heavy but not too bad to handle, if it had a larger regulated tank to get at least 1 clip of equal power it would be really awesome but can be done with a regulated buddy bottle.

I put about 20 rounds through it before I sighted it in, then I zeroed it in at 25 yards using a Leupold VX scope. This gun is a tack driver with Kodiak 21.14 gr. holding a group smaller than a dime. My Chrony clocked the Kodiak pellets at an average 925fps with 2500 psi. in the tank.

(1) Great looking gun. (2) Well made. (3) Extremely accurate.

(1) It's fairly loud. (2) The manometer gauge is in a pitiful location and obstructed by the trigger rod. (3) The gun gets heavy with a scope & bi-pod attached.

This is a review board for gun owners, people who have experience with above product.

Great place to review your gun, and inform other potential buyers.

Totally inappropriate for those who wish to offer an opinion on a gun they do not own, regardless of future intent.

I'm super impressed with many of this brands air rifles for hunting. Especially the larger bore for taking down med. Size game such as deer. I'm specifically saving upto get myself my first Evanix in .357

I haven't seen any bad comments or reviews aside from not being able to get them in the full auto versions here in the united states. But even though im looking forward to a semi auto air rifle aswell as the side cocking versions in my own collection.

None that I know of

Does anyone know the inside diameter of the Evanix Max's shroud? I have a Huggett moderator for my FX Bobcat and need to know if the moderator in interchangeable.

asked Frank from USA

How would I put a bipod on it?

asked Dylan

Does this gun use air cartridges like CO2? Are the cartridges rechargeable? Can they be recharged with an air compressor? If the cartridges are one time and done, I'll have to pass. Thanks!

asked Doug

No. high pressure air only.

Lawrence from USA

It does not use C02. It is PCP (Pre-Charged Pneumatic). The power source of a PCP is a cylinder of compressed air, a buddy bottle. Every time a shot is taken air is released under pressure from the cylinder by a main firing valve and this propels the pellet down the barrel. Recocking a PCP is usually just a matter of flicking a small bolt. However, when the buddy bottle needs re-charging, you either have to decant air from a divers tank, or pump it in manually with a stirrup pump. Buying all the charging equipment is what makes the PCP an initially more expensive form of airgunning.

A Shopper

Its pneumatic, or PCP (pre-charged pneumatic). Charging requires a hand pump or use of a scuba tank (or equivalent). No CO2 cartridges, not one time and done. You should read up on the PCP style air rifles. I've gone from springers to gas piston, and looking forward, in a couple of months, getting into the PCP world.

Jared from USA

This is a precharge pneumatic which means the air reservoir is filled via a scuba tank or hand pump to very high pressure (up to 3000 psi) so, NO, most air compressors don't go nearly that high pressure. It is very easy however to have a scuba tank refilled at your local dive shop or some fire companies breathable air must be used because it does not contain moisture

In 25 cal, it states over 900 fps is that with lead or just alloy?
