hard to fire many shots with the pistol !
do you have any advice?
Handles well and fits me .will be great for a walk in the woods this fall.
Looking froward to getting a few birds and squirrels this fall.
Thanks for your help.
Plenty of power and a fun gun to fire. Recommended
Hits hard shoots well can get to be hard to cock after a bunch of pellets. I set up a couple of tin cans on my fence posts at 33 yds.
3" across by 4" tall it's a blast
All 10 hit point of aim at 21 feet in a 3/4 inch group.
Choreographed at 632.9 fps.
The allen wrench included to adjust the trigger is useless because the adjustment screws are slotted heads not allen socket.
I am happy with the pistol so far but it is not for the weak. It is a bear to cock.
I wanted accuracy so I put on an adapter to use weaver scope rings and added a 3x9x40 rifle scope. I used loctite on all the screws, nuts and even the dovetail grooves, this system is rock solid. The way the top of the pistol's recoil system slides, it puts a lot of force on the scope mounts, but everything stays in place and holds zero. Looks a bit strange but it works. At 25 feet I can easily shoot dime size groups standing with no support other than using an artillery style hold.
Gamo Diabolo match pellets group the best so far, with Crosman Premier domed ultra magnum pellets coming in second. I also tried RWS super points and super domes, although they shot decent groups, they were not quite as tight.
This gun does shoot hard, at 25 feet pellets will penetrate 3/4 inch into a piece of 1 inch drywall, two 1/2 inch pieces taped together. So, no doubt, at close range, Mr. Squirrel is in trouble.
I will try to include a couple pictures of my setup, enjoy!
The grip feels good to the hand and the front and rear sights are easily seen. It actually takes both hands to hold the gun steady on target.
I first tried breaking down the barrel without the extension and it was loadable, but difficult, as could be expected.
A screw came loose out of the front sight adjustment, so I just used some super glue to hold it in place. The gun is very accurate at 60 feet, if you have a steady hand. I highly recommend this pistol to anyone that wants more power without using CO2 are multiple pump action.
at 25 yards with it. Plenty of knock down power for pests.
