Okay, this is my second try. My first example had a wobbly magazine that fell out when trigger pulled and then stopped shooting after 30 or so rounds. The replacement allows the mag to seat, but will not fire. After reinserting I tried again and mag fell out when the trigger was pulled. Manual say don't drop the magazine! Ha! This one is going back tomorrow and will get a refund. Don't buy this if you want it to shoot! Someone else noted this appears to be a design flaw. I concur. Also, mag has the banana curve of an AKM not the less radical curve of an AK-74.

Impossible to latch the magazine. When pressing the trigger it ejects the magazine out. Seems to be a design issue. which needs to be fixed by manufacturer.

The magazine will not stay in place. When it clicked in the mag had a wobble fore and aft. I pulled the trigger to fire and it fell out on two occasions. Loading BBs is a pain. Got through about two magazines worth of BBs-about 36. The rifle was accurate. Gun has decided not to function at all now. Going for a replacement. If the next one does not work I will ask for a refund. Strangely they modeled an AKM magazine and not an AK-74.
Get the AKS-74U variant, it's the only one of the three that can actually catch the magazine and won't fall out. Only get it if you want a nice wall piece.
