The Seneca Dragonfly Mk2 is a multi pump air rifle that gives you important upgrades over the first version that make it easier than ever to pump. With 15 pumps, you get speeds up to 890 fps in .177 and 800 fps in .22 with lead pellets, so you have plenty of power for small game hunting, plinking, and pesting.
If you just give this rifle a quick look, you might think it's almost the same as the original model. The first time you pump it, you'll realize it's so much nicer to use. The pumping effort has been reduced by 50%, and that effort stays the same from the first pump to the last, thanks to the patented butterfly high efficiency pump system.
You can change the power level of the Seneca Dragonfly Mk2 for different uses because it's a multi pump rifle. That means you can easily use it for convenient small game hunting or quick pest control by pumping it 15 times, or get quiet shots for backyard plinking without bothering your neighbors by pumping it 3 or 4 times. You can also get even quieter shots by adding a moderator, because this new version has a 1/2 UNF threaded muzzle adapter.
The airgun gives you a rear sight that adjusts for elevation and windage and a fixed fiber optic front sight, so you'll get accurate shots right out of the box. And if you want to add a scope for extra flexibility in sighting choices, there's an 11mm dovetail scope rail as well.
If you're in the market for a multi pump pneumatic air rifle with synthetic stock that's easy enough for adults and kids to use for handy and fun plinking, pesting, or small game hunting, get the Seneca Dragonfly Mk2 at Airgun Depot now.

Hoping the replacement rifle functions as designed... I already bought a 3-12x32 Bug Buster and a Buck-Rail moderator for the rifle... the folks in QC at Seneca need to do a better job at inspecting the product before shipping to the retailers... Note** Rhonda W. In Airgun Depot's CS was exceptionally helpful in setting up the RMA return... Thanx Rhonda!
Pros
Surprisingly accurate open sights, good fit n finish for a symthetic stock. Single shot tray works well, but had to send the rifle back for replacement...
Cons
Multi-pump mechanism failed after less than 6 magazines of pellets,
If your out hunting with this rifle you will making a lot of noise pumping it , scaring away game . It makes a lond clacking noise ( very annoying ) . They should upgrade the bolt with a side lever and address the noisy pump problem . Pumping it slow helps a little .
Pros
Recently bought this rifle with the synthetic stock in .177 caliber. Was pleasantly surprised by the quality . This is not some cheap hollow plastic , it is solid . Might be weapons grade ? I mounted a Hawke 3x9x40mm scope and was sighted in 6 rounds later . Mine seems to like the Apolo 9 grain domes . Soup cans at 47 yards .........no problem ! Only one magazine included , but it does include a rebuild o -ring kit ( nice ) . Very accurate at long ranges .
Cons
Not a big fan of the 9 round magazines ( rotate the clear cover put your first pellet in backwards ) UGH....... Plus the fact these are almost 30.00 each for extras ! Mine worked flawlessly . Ordered my first Dragonfly 9/22 and returned it for replacement . Numerous issues . My second Dragonfly lasted until 8/25 mostly because the bolt was sticking and would not open or close . Maybe the third time is the charm ? I have high hopes for this one . Hopefully I won't be sending it back .
I have shot about 80 pellets it seems like it's starting to seat in .I will update date this review after I shot 250 pellets. I should be broke in by than.
Pros
5 Star all the way Excellent people to deal with.
Cons
None so far
The first one of these I ordered was, I hope, an anomaly. It required Herculean effort to extend the pump arm. This smoothed out some after around 150 pump strokes, but then there was an internal failure and it wouldn't build pressure. I sent it back to AGD and they immediately sent out a replacement. Thank you, AGD, for your excellent customer service! The second rifle has thus far performed flawlessly. Easiest pumper I own. It is very accurate and the trigger, though not adjustable, is very smooth. Overall, a very solid, well-built rifle.
Pros
Beautiful wood stock.
Threaded muzzle.
Pump mechanism.
Cons
Would like to see an adjustable trigger on a rifle at this price point.
first live target was a rock squirrel at about 20 yards. Ten pumps and a rest to sight in on and one target down. Very satisfied with the power and accuracy. Next target was a prairie dog at 15 yards. Twelve pumps and resting on a fence post and another target down. Clean shot through the brain pan and instant drop. Have yet to hunt rabbits with it, but I believe with well placed single rounds there will be no issues. Well worth the money and very accurate out to just over 36 yards so far. Something I will hand down to the grandkids
Pros
I haven't shot a pellet gun in quite a while. I started out on a Benjamin .22 that was passed down from dad. Took it with me every where and got pretty good with it. Next was a Sheridan Bluestreak 5 mm. That thing was very powerful but hard to pump up. Lately I have been on a local ranch and authorized to clear out rock squirrels and prairie dogs. Read reviews and such and settled on the Dragonfly MK2 in .177. Ordered it and when it arrived inspection found most of the screws holding the pump stock loose. Tightened them up and did a bore sight at 20 yards. Used the open sights and sighted it in with 6 shots. The rifle is much more accurate than I thought it would be. The pump action is easy although a little noisy. The bolt action is easy to use and the only drawback I can see it the single shot tray will be easy to lose in field situations.
Cons
Single shot tray held in by magnet. Easy to drop and lose in the field.
Pros
Just about a perfect pumper. Accurate, easy to pump. Beautiful looking rifle and well made with very nice wooden stock. Safety is very good and much better than the auto safeties of the competition. What little plastic is used is applied properly and does not detract from the rifle.
Cons
Could be a little less heavy, but the weight is still decent. 15 pumps maximum is a bit excessive, but the pumping is easy. Actually, you can get very close to full power with as little as 7 or 8 pumps. 3 pumps is decent for short range. Rear sight is a little flakely, but still accurate. Trigger is decent, but maybe could be a little lighter.
be aware of the pump system failing and breaking
Pros
it was shooting good but the pump system literally fell apart out of nowhere.. :(
Cons
make the pump system with better parts mine broke apart and pieces went flying. kinda dangerous. Its also made in china so its not that nice of a gun sadly
Pros
I needed a 2-pump rifle for invasive lizards in my yard, and this excels at that! Easy to hit one at 50 ft with match ammo. A huge upgrade over the plastic Daisy I used before.
Cons
The forend to buttstock fit could be more seamless, though the wood grain is continuous, which is very nice, nicer than the grain in the photo in the box, which is also nice.
Very nice gun
Pros
Super fast shipping and a great website. Very happy with the product.
Cons
Really there were no cons. The only thing I would say is it needs to be sited in. No big deal
Question?
Login to ask someone who bought this product.Guys, I am old guy and this rifle has been good for me, but the screw hole tread of the rear sight peels off and I placed a red dot, but it works only for about 10 yards, after that is off, I did not miss with my old rear sight. does anyone knows how to get a new or used seneca rear sight, I pay money for it if asked. thank in advance...
