General Patten famously called the M1 Carbine “the greatest battle implement ever devised.” This Springfield replica preserves all of the distinctive characteristics of the original including the rolling bolt (demonstration) and aiding in that realism is a gas-powered recoil system that gives the user the most authentic shooting experience possible. On top of all of that, this M1 is extremely accurate, so get yours now!

When I first opened the box I immediately noticed that the upper handguard was extremely loose and I am not aware of a method of fixing this. This is my first realistic blowback rifle and while I knew they used a lot of C02 just for the blowback, this thing is insane. I can generally get through 2-3 full mags before I'm completely out. This may be normal for blowback and I just wasn't prepared, but if it isn't i'm quite disappointment. It also is not the most reliable rifle I've ever shot, with BBs sometimes failing to fire even with plenty of C02 left, requiring me to lock the bolt back and turn the rifle over to get the now loose bb out. When it is firing though, it is fairly accurate and just plain fun, but the experience is marred by the numerous issues.

Overall fun to shoot, Interesting collector's piece, good price.

Build quality is sub-par even for price, unreliable, chews through C02

Great looking rifle. Real wood version. I just wish whoever prepares them for sale, would test the magazine and rifle before shipping. I received mine, placed a Co2 in it, and it was hissing even when i tightly screwed in the cap. Took it outside to shoot. Popped off one shot, two shots, then it double feed bbs. Cleared the bbs. Racked it again. Shot another bb. Two shot. Double feed. Cleared. Then Co2 went dry. No bueno. Contacted Venturi Air, and they said they would mail me a replacement magazine when they get them in stock. Hopefully the next magazine allows me to shoot 15 straight shots without issue

Look. Weight. Blow back. Real wood option.

Faulty magazine

Patton called the M1 Garand "the greatest war implement ever devised," not the M1 Carbine. Get your history straight!

Great rifle for collectors.

I purchased this just to display it on my wall. Excellent quality replica that looks and feels very close to real M1 Carbine. I have a Universal M1 and it is hard to tell them apart from first glance. Action of rifle feels really good, wood quality is good, overall quality is great.

No negatives. Most of the C02 is used for blow back so you don't have much velocity and get a limited number of shots before they get really weak. If you are looking for something to do a lot of plnking with a lot of shots per C02 cartridge, or more power for varmint hunting, this is not your rifle.

I was prepared to be disappointed, but I am exceedingly pleased. Nice box-shoots great and accurate enough to knock off my water bottle targets at 15-20 yards! In fact, I have not missed yet. Heavier than expected close to my original Inland. Blacked out the white writing which is the bane of airgun replicas and it looks great. Now just a sling and an oiler and a stock mag pouch and it it there! Arrived dry so shoot an oil product on the action. Was going to swap a wooden stock I had, but not needed. But it!!

This is a great BB gun. Blowback is outstanding. No jams, no issues, works flawlessly.

This does not feel like plastic nor look like plastic. When I opened the box and saw the carbine for the first time I really wondered for a moment if they had mistakenly sent me one of the wood equiped guns. Closer inspection shows it not quite up to successfully duplicating wood, but it is the best imitation I have ever seen. The "grain" does not run identically at the joining of the two halves and there is a very thin seam that runs a little proud there. Also, with the magazine out the gun is far too light to be mistaken for a wood stocked weapon. Velocity was right at the factory rated specification on average. Early shots are higher and the late shots slightly below. Rapid firing has its usual effect on slowing the gun but in slow fire it is as advertised. What amazed me was its accuracy. I used the new Crosman Black Widow BB and at 6 yards they will produce an overall group for the whole magazine of 1/4" with careful attention to your shooting. I did this offhand, not rested so the gun has accuracy. Granted, it was only 6 yards but really, if the gun can do that, it is a winner. I just shot around a little at distance (25 yards) but as I watched the point of impact on the water at the edge of my pond the ammo was consistently very close to point of aim. Only 4 stars because the magazine spring jumped out of the raceway through the widened locking slot for the follower tab for the first two attempts at pulling it back to load. I had to drive out the pin at the bottom of the housing and remove the lower guide to get the spring free to replace it. It jumped again. The second time I noted the spring was arching up during compression and the coils were catching on the edge of this widened area so I smoothed out the edges and the problem was solved. Also, the upper hand guard was loose and rattled badly. I removed the fore-end furniture and put some rubber material at the rear edges of the handguard that fit under the reciever ring and a second piece at the forward end. This provided a snug fit and ended the rattle. The third defect was that there were two rough places on the surface of the stock that are obviously some residue of some sort that has hardened. I dare not attempt to smooth this out due to the risk of making matters worse. If not for those three problems, I would have given it 5 stars but 5 stars in my judgement is for those products that have no faults in design, construction, finish and performance.

Reliable funtioning, stellar accuracy, shoots to point of aim (windage adjustable only but elevation is correct on this one.) Great looks and very closely replicates the original namesake.

Some small imperfections in finish and details such as the problem with the rough edges in the magazine raceway, sloppily fit handguard and areas of rough finish on the stock.

I'm buying the synthetic stock version. But I have a wood stock from a real M1 carbine. Will it fit this rifle?

asked Rick from USA

Handguard is loose fitting, does it come off to see if I can find a way to fix it. If yes how do you do it? I just got it don't want to break something.

asked Mark from USA

The ad say it shoots PELLETS Does it shoot .177 pellets or just BBs ?

asked Ricky from USA

Mark from USA

I noticed it is possible to install a sling and oiler combo, is it possible to install the buttstock pouch? The real steel rifle the entire barrel, receiver and trigger assembly is removed and the pouch is slide down from the foregrip end and not from the butt end. Is all possible to remove?

asked Charles (Mike) from USA

The front hand guard on faux wood version is loose and rattles. Any way can this be fixed. I’d take it apart but would be afraid of it not going back together right. Any suggestions?

asked David Carway

Does this rifle shoot pelets.

asked Mark Mitchell

How do I order extra mags and how much are they?

asked DEAN from USA

Will you be offering the version with the wood stock?

asked Douglas Kinney

cancel my order for springfield Armory M1 Carbine BB Rifle to long of a wait.

asked Thomas from USA

Could you post this to the UK?? Regards Rob

asked Robert Perry

I had a Universal M1 carbine and i’d like one of these if and when they put a real wood stock on it. My question is How accurate is your gun?

asked Eugene Raymo

Pictures look better than real item, shot show guy said it shoots 45 bbs per pull of trigger, did he mean I that to say 45 shots per co2 carteridge6or does it shot like a shotgun? Very confusing shot show video. If it's just a plastic stock, then why such a hefty price tag?

asked James from USA

To bad they do not offer this with a wood stock. Or do they?

asked Don

Will you offer the wood stock model talked about at the 2019 shot show by Air Venturi? Will you offer a spare magazine?

asked Larry

Could a real wooden stock replace the plastic one for this carbine?

asked Frederick from USA

Does it allow a Scope or Red Dot Sight to be mounted? Gary
