Sights on this hard hitting and potentially "great gun for the money" make it average at best. It is very barrel heavy but not unexpected given the configuration. Sights are terrible. Front is a bulbous dot that is hard to center and the rears are really tough to deal with. They simply do not hold. If you are interested in blowing up cans and bottles within 25 yards and not target shooting this is pretty wicked. If you want to take dead aim at something pass on this. Opinion is based on indoor range with Crossman premier wadcutters.

Hits like a bitch.

Misses like a bitch.

I was initially put off by the reviews about the sights. They are actually fine and I wouldn't let this put you off this excellent pistol. It is very accurate. The muffler works great as well. My dog hates my CO2 Daisy, but doesn't mind the Umarex. For the price, are you kidding? Very accurate, nicely balanced awesome tool.

Accurate Quiet Well balanced Accurate

Sights that can't be replaced. Noisy to pump so not suitable from hunting

The gun is a good concept. yet the rear sights are lacking any white dot or fiber to make them mark.

powerful, good for outdoor plinking

the sight were not the best for a basement target rangw

By EdUSAMarch 7, 2019 Verified Purchase

Very powerful, easy to use but, the sights are terrible. Who ever designed this gun never shot it because you can't see the target because of the size of the bead on the front sight. I had to rework everything to make it

Bad sights

Very difficult to sight in the gun. Tough to pump after 4 pumps and you need 5 to get solid firepower on varmints.

Easy to load. Solid feel.

single shot. gun is very stiff after 4 pumps.

Front sight swallows up small targets such as soda cans at 30yds (a smaller diameter sight pin would be better)

Fairly accurate as long as you pump it consistently 5-6 pumps each shot

Pros:Fun to shoot.22cal has plenty of punch.Well priced for the shooter on a tight. Cons: Bolt can be difficult at times. Personally I think to sights are a bit bulky for smaller targets. All in all it's a fun plinker for the price and could be used to get pest or small game.

I bought the Strike Point mainly do the style and It is available in 22Cal. after reading the Manual (Recommended) I was ready to sight it in and do some target practice. The first few shots were way off to the right and I finally wound up setting the rear sight as far to the left as is possible. That got it to hitting where it was aimed. Once you do some practice with it, its a pretty decent shooter. I haven't pumped it up to ten pumps yet as 8 seems to it for me for plinking and what few rodents I've taken out with it. All in all a very powerful Air Gun and I like the idea of it being a pumper as that makes it very usable in and outdoors.

Super rodent killer at fairly close range. Gallon jugs filled with water, tin cans have no chance....... fun for target practice and just plain plinking

The trigger takes a bit of getting used to...... Quite a bit of slack before the Strike Point fires. A better rear sight would be nice. It would be nice if there was a rear sight replacement kit for that. Would have given 5 stars if not for the rear sight. Overall I rate the Umarex Strike Point as a very good value for the $49.99 it sells for
