The M2 platform from Ataman is probably the greatest to come out of Russia since the Kalashnikov rifle, arguably of course. The M2 Carbine Ergonomic features include a Lothar Walther barrel, 2-way adjustable match grade trigger, aircraft-grade aluminum regulated air cylinder, and side-lever action. The regulator ensures consistent shots down range when shooting either targets or vermin. With a range of 22 ft lbs to 144 ft lbs, there's a caliber for everyone's needs. You definitely can't go wrong with Ataman's proven track record and quality.

what rifle scope is best for ataman 357 caliber. Is a moderator available
asked David from USA View Next
Very impressive rifle, very well made. Shoots the suggested Exact Diablo 81 gr pellets nicely
going clean through a 2x4 wood stud. It will shoot a 9mm solid lead bullet 125gr through a
4x4 wood stud. Haven't clocked it on my chrony yet. .357 solid bullets are too tight for the
bore so don't try them. I plan to test some 9mm solid copper Barnes Bullets. The .357 are
way too tight for the bore. I have some small compact military aircraft breathing air
compressors that are capable of over 9000 psi @ 2cfm. They put the other little compressors
like the Nomad and Benjamin to shame, and I have 7 units left for sale,
contact Jeff,,, [email protected] if interested.
Pros
4350 psi fill pressure gives about 8 consistent shots when filled to max of 300 bar. Very accurate and good quality through out, you pay for what you get. They're NOT made in CHINA with recycled pot metal trash and no parts available made to break in a year. Thank God they're NOT made in China !
Cons
I had to send back the first rifle. It was leaking air like a siv after every shot, hissed for a couple seconds after every shot. They sent me a paid return label, and took care of me right away no hassle at all, so I was happy with their return service. A little on the loud side. Not something your neighbors would like unless you live in the rural areas like we do. It's a little on the heavy side but not too bad, and it could use a synthetic stock to lighten it up as much as possible. It would be nice to have a multi colored laminated stock. It could use an adjustable power, and a little more regulated pressure to boost it's power. I'm working on that issued, having been a gunsmith/airsmith the last 40 years. Air Venturi doesn't like to help any on doing your own work or increasing the power, and you wait for ever on hold IF they answer the phone...I'm NOT happy with them at all so I have to take matters into my own hands on mods. They are a JOKE. So if you have any problems with this rifle and it needs to be returned for any work, GOOD LUCK getting through to Air Venturi. No problem, I own a machine shop.
