Some owners have said the stock loosens up , and that it sometimes makes strange noises , also not reaching the fps stated on the box . Also the dovetail for a scope doesn't hold optics securely . My magazines when new and a full 10 rounds on board would not advance from 10 to 9 on most occasions . Magazines do smooth out with use .
Pros
Easy ? 10 round magazines 2 in the box , metal pump handle ( finally ) , not hard to pump until you get to number 8 through 10 . I mounted a Hawke 3x9x40mm AO with high mounts with zero issues so far . My open sights were dead on out of the box . Likes heavier pellets . 22 caliber please .
Cons
Mine was damaged by FEDEX so better packing could be used . Since it is essentially a 1977 XS with some mods and has Daisy roots it is very easy to work on . I was able to repair mine without returning it . ( Bolt was out of place ) . Nothing broke . Made in China .
