The Gamo P-430 lets you shoot either BBs or pellets for an affordable price, and you don't need an additional magazine or adapter cartridges to do it. It gives you speeds up to 495 fps using alloy pellets for fun and exciting performance when plinking or target shooting.
You'll appreciate that this air pistol doesn't need tools to swap the 12 gram CO2 cartridge. That's because it has a thumbscrew underneath the back of the grip that you loosen to take out a cartridge and tighten to pierce and secure the new cartridge, meaning you won't need to search for a hex wrench to keep shooting.
You can shoot the Gamo P-430 by either pulling back the slide to cock it and use the trigger in single action mode, or use the trigger to both cock and shoot it in double action mode. That makes it so you shoot the air pistol as fast as you can pull the trigger, in the same way you would with a semi-auto airgun.
The double sided magazine has two rotary clips on each end that hold 8 rounds, giving you a total of 16 rounds per magazine. You'll also get a firm hold on the airgun because of the grip with ridges on the front and back, plus texturing on the right and left side. The fixed rear notch sight and fixed front post sight give you added aiming precision.
If you want a unique air pistol that can shoot either pellets or BBs for accurate and entertaining plinking and target shooting, get a Gamo P-430 from Airgun Depot now.

Cons
Had Problems Loading CO2 Cartridge From Day One Broke In 30 Days
Pros
ok delivery time
Cons
Put real sights on it. Can't hit the side of a barn with that thing. Very unimpressed..
I'M TOTALLY EXPERIMENTING W/THESE, SO I DON'T KNOW WHERE TO GET BEST PRICES FOR 'AMMO' & CO2.. I'M FINDING, LIKE MOST OTHER THINGS, THAT GREATER QUANTITIES CAN MAKE A BIIIIIG DIFFERENCE IN UNIT PRICES..
Pros
EVERYTHING ON THE P-430 SEEMS TO BE ABSOLUTELY PERFECT: GREAT WT, SOLID SAFETY, SHOOTS ANY KIND OF 'AMMO' W/NO PROBS SO FAR VS A DOWNER FOR SOME OTHER TYPES, EASY TO USE AND IT'S PRETTY FAST, UP TO 495/SEC LIKELY DUE TO NON-BLOWBACK, AND ACCURATE, PLUS THE MAG RELEASE IS PRETTY SOLID WHERE SOME ARE PRETTY TOUCHY
Cons
MAYBE AT LEAST A FRONT SIGHT DAB OF WHITE?
Pros
Amazing guns i love it
Good fun gun to 15 meters
Pros
It's inexpensive to buy .Great beginner co2 pistol.
Cons
Needs a lighter trigger pull. Poor sites.
Pros
No misfires. Easy to load.
This is probably great for the beginner that wants to target practice. I purchased to extra mags, fairly cheap, load all three and fun paper punching.
Pros
It a lightweight. I thought it would be more powerful but - not. For a plinker that shoots paper targets, I guess it is OK. Do not shoot planks, you WILL get them back, my son was trying to catch them as they came flying back, if you get hit (except in the eye, wear eye protection) you get hit, does not hurt, so far. It will put a small dent in a can, would not try to shoot a bird, the bird will fly away.
Cons
The mag release button, just look at it hard and it will drop a mag. I was not aware sometimes that I would just accidently hit it, oops, there goes the mag. Just load the BB or dome pellets, the pointed and heavy pp will not load.
Pros
Nice pellet gun
Pros
Very nice dependable airgun

First I tested it with hard alloy pellets. All of the Gamo Platinum pellets (5.1 grains) penetrated an empty steel soup-can (immobilized by a heavy weight) at very close range; some made a hole in the opposite side, and one seems to have gone entirely through the opposite side. One almost made it through but was left protruding out of the hole. (I had removed the plastic cover for the CO2 cartridge and was touching the cartridge with my hand while firing slowly.) Some reviewers say that these SIG magazines for the P226 will fit this gun: http://www.airgundepot.com/sig-sauer-16-round-pistol-magazine-177-caliber.html If you want to use this gun to drive away animals, don't use pellets or steel BBs. Use .177 cal. plastic BBs (sadly, not many places sell them). If you shoot metal projectiles at the animal, they may penetrate the skin. I think that Gamo has achieved the goal of designing a good multi-shot pellet pistol that can be sold for a very low price.
Pros
The gun seems to be well made (in Japan). The trigger operates only in double-action mode. There is no external hammer, and there is no movable slide with which to cock the striker. (No CO2 is wasted by blow-back.) The trigger pull is long but not too hard. The length of the barrel is about 4.75 inches. It looks rifled to me. Although the sights are not adjustable, they seem to be already properly aligned. I like the CO2 piercing system; no Allen wrench is needed. I put oil on the threads of the CO2 piercing mechanism and on the part of the mechanism that pushes against the bottom of the CO2 tank. A drop of Pellgun Oil was put on the tip of each tank. (The seals have to be kept in good condition.)
Cons
Hey, Gamo. I want more power and fewer shots. Don't you realize that people want the pellets to have an effect on what they hit? (Ideally, there should be a way to adjust the power.) I'd rather buy a CO2 pistol that gives me only 20 full-power shots per CO2 capsule than a puny pea-shooter that gives me 200 shots. A projectile with more kinetic energy can, if necessary, kill a small pest more humanely. It's very frustrating that the companies that make these CO2 guns are unwilling to let us have some power.
