The Norica Omnia ZRS gives you an innovative breakbarrel air rifle that's the first to use this specialized barrel system to do away with the effects of recoil. You get speeds up to 984 fps in .177 and 755 fps in .22 for the power you need for accurate target practice and effective pesting and small game hunting.

The key to this air rifle's unique results is the patented ZRS system that gives you recoil free use because it lets the barrel move without affecting the stock of the airgun. That means that when you shoot, only the barrel moves, instead of the whole gun bouncing back and forth like with a standard spring gun. Most importantly, the scope doesn't shift or get damaged, so you don't have to frequently readjust it.

You'll appreciate that you can get similar results to a PCP airgun from the gas piston Norica Omnia ZRS without needing extra parts like a bulky external air tank, a tedious hand pump, or an expensive compressor. Plus, you get a two stage adjustable trigger so you can customize the pull for a consistent and sharp break.

To give you accurate shots straight out of the box, this air rifle comes with a hooded fiber optic front sight and an adjustable fiber optic rear sight. You also get an adjustable cheek rest with this model, plus a long 11mm dovetail scope rail so you can add your favorite scope or dot sight.

If you're in the market for a gas piston air rifle that gives you the recoil free performance of a PCP without the added expense, get the Norica Omnia ZRS at Airgun Depot now.

I'm actually considering buying this rifle again for all the pros I listed in my first review to give the Omnia and me a second chance. Bushnell is replacing the scope by the way.

Pros
This is an addendum to my previous review. I gave this rifle 3 stars and have increased it to 4 as you can see. One of the cons I had for this rifle was bad accuracy. Well the scope I had on it was also new and after I had returned this rifle I put the scope on two other rifles and discovered that the accuracy problem was due to the scope not the rifle. The scope has been returned and I feel I owe. Norica and Airgun Depot an apology. My criticism of the trigger remains but, as I noted in my first critique, I did not do all the adjusting that is possible on it so this jury member is still out on that.

I shoot my air rifles at 40 and 50 yds. at 2 inch bullseyes and can ,regularly, put 65-75% of my shots in the bullseye with iron sights and better with a scope. This is a qualifier not braggadocio. I know how to shoot air guns. I may have gotten a lemon but from what I have read on line ( and there isnt much ) I dont think so. Shoot safe and well.

Pros
You heard people say that they really wanted to like this gun, well I really did but Im sending it back. But here are the things I liked; #1 I liked the overall look of the Omnia. Its simple and clean. All of my other air guns are of the more classic design so this was a change of pace. #2 I was impressed with the ZR system. It really works. #3 its fairly easy to cock but it helps to have long arms. The barrel is quite long but necessarily so for the leverage to cock it. #4 the cocking action is smooth but there is a clunk sound of the zrs being engaged that surprised me at first. #5 the power is pretty good and on a par with my other rifles although a little more inconsistent in its delivery. #6 its solidly built and seems to be well engineered except for a couple of important details.

Cons
#1 long, gritty trigger pull. Reminds me of the infamous Crosman triggers. I adjusted the main trigger screw a lot with not much difference in the pull. Evidently there are two other trigger adjustment screws but you have to remove the stock to access them so I decided not to because of the following. #2. ACCURACY! This rifle wanders a lot. I would get a nice 3 or 4 shot group and then the next shot would be 3-5 inches away. The next few shots would gradually migrate back toward the group but then go off 3-5 inches in another direction. I tried different pellets and different shooting techniques with no change. After about 600 shots I gave up. #3. The stock is uncomfortable.
